Wang Yiran was taken immediately to the room where she was treated earlier. In the chaos, everyone had forgotten about Wang Yu and Li Zi Yun and their entire attention was on Wang Yiran.

Wang Yu and Li Zi Yun quietly went back to their room. Li Zi Yun sat there with her hand on her head. Wang Yu pulled Li Zi Yun to his lap and gently stroked her hair. All Wang Yu's thoughts were filled with Li Zi Yun and his baby. From last night, he had been thinking hard about how to make Li Zi Yun more comfortable in this period.

Wang Yu suddenly remembered, "Baby let's leave for check up."

After few hours the butler came to inform them that, Wang Yiran had finally woke up.

Wang Yu said to Li Zi Yun, "You stay here and rest I will be back soon"

But Li Zi Yun wanted to see what drama Wang Yiran would do now, "No I'm coming with you"

Wang Yiran woke up and tried to move but she felt something poking on her hand. She looked around and saw that so many were standing around her bed.

Wang Yiran looked at her mother and asked, "Why are there so many people in my room?"

The Wang family was relieved only when they saw Wang Yiran open her eyes. When she was still and unconscious they had feared the worst. Wang Yiran looked around but she could not recognize the room. Where was she now? Wang Yiran saw that there were many machines around her and some were attached to her body. Was she in a hospital?

When no one said a word, she asked again, "Am I in hospital? What's wrong with me?"

Everyone was looking at each other.

The doctor asked Wang Yiran clearly, "Ms. Wang Yiran, what's the last thing you remember?"

Wang Yiran tried hard to think. Her memory was foggy and even recalling anything made her head hurt badly. Then she remembered, someone had tried to kidnap but the rest was a blur.

Wang Yiran said loudly, "Someone tried to kidnap me…"

Wang Yiran was furious now, "Father kill those men and shred them into pieces. How dare they try to kidnap me? Show them what will happen if they touch someone from the Wang family"

Wang Yu wanted to bang his head on the wall. The kidnapping that Wang Yiran was talking about took place more than fourteen years ago and he could not even remember the details now.

Mrs. Wang asked to Wang Yiran gently, "Yiran… Can't you remember anything after that?"

Wang Yu looked at Li Zi Yun, "You (Wang Yiran pointed her finger at Li Zi Yun) who are you? Why are you holding my brother?"

Wang Yu asked her, "You don't know who she is?"

Wang Yiran was blinking. She had no idea what was happening around her. She felt like she was waking up from sleep. But her parents had gotten older, her brother had changed so much.

The Wang family left the room to let the doctor check up on her. They could hear Wang Yiran screaming behind them.

"Where are you going? I am speaking to you. Come back immediately"

After some time the doctor came to speak to them, "She has a type of dissociative amnesia. She has forgotten certain moments from her life due to emotional shock. But don't worry it will return briefly"

The doctor explained further, "I think it must be localized amnesia. She has forgotten a certain time period of her life. I am not sure when or if she will ever be getting her memory back but we can try some therapy"

When the entire family was shocked by the news, Li Zi Yun looked at Wang Yiran suspiciously.

Li Zi Yun thought in her mind. 'What a skilled actor! How could see pretend easily that she does not know me? Did she really forget everything or is she faking it?'

When Wang Yu and Li Zi Yun were alone, Li Zi Yun asked her husband, "Can the doctor be trusted?"

Wang Yu nodded his head, "He has been with our family for so many years. I trust him. Moreover if you don't trust him you can look at the CCTV footage from the room when the doctor was checking her"

From inside the room Wang Yiran's voice could be heard, "I'm hungry. Get me something to eat"

Food was immediately served to her.

Wang Yiran did not even touch the food, "I did not ask for hospital food. Get me something tasty from home" saying that she sent the food flying scattering the contents all over the floor.

Li Zi Yun whispered under her breath, "She is still the same arrogant Wang Yiran minus the memories. I trust the doctor now"
