Bab 20. Bad news and good news

Dom glanced at Aryan who came out of the curtains with a surprised look, then Dom glanced at Jo in bewilderment. Who did Jo actually accuse of treason? Was it him or Aryan?

"Uncle what are you doing in my apartment?" Jo asked fiercely, his eyes glaring at Aryan who had just walked up to him. Jo immediately walked towards Vania, protecting her from Aryan.

Aryan pointed at the apartment balcony, shrugging nonchalantly. "After catching the intruder, am I okay?"

Hearing Aryan's story, Dom immediately checked the balcony. As soon as he opened the door that connected the apartment to the balcony, Dom found no one on the balcony.

Dom glanced at Aryan who gave him a sweet smile, curiously he stepped onto the balcony and looked down. Dom's eyes automatically widened when he saw his henchman Tara grab someone, then straightened up and returned to Jo and Vania's side.

Dom bowed respectfully to Jo, "You're right young master, an intruder has been caught. The intruder has now been taken into custody by Mr. Tara's men, so we can rest in peace here."

Jo nodded in approval of Dom's report, now Jo's gaze turned to Aryan who was looking at him too. Jo snorted in annoyance, then pulled Vania's hand to sit on the sofa.

"Don't you want to thank me?" Aryan followed Jo, casually sitting down on the chair as well. After finding a safe position, Aryan leaned his back on the back of the sofa. "I've helped catch the intruder, at least there's a payoff for me."

Jo glanced at Aryan lazily, he would rather rest his head on Vania's chest than serve Aryan.

Not getting a friendly welcome from Jo, Aryan finally looked at Vania. He smiled a little, looking at Vania with a nostalgic look. There was an unreadable ripple in Aryan's eyes when he looked at Vania, I don't know what it was because only Aryan knew what it meant.

Vania smiled stiffly at Aryan, to be honest she didn't dare look back at Aryan. Vania must not forget Gia's warning against getting too close to the three people, one of whom is Aryan.

With Tara maybe Vania can't, but at least with Jessy and Aryan she should be able to. Vania still has to find her uncle who disappeared to nowhere, so she must protect herself as much as possible from any potential harm.

"Wow, Vania how are you?" Aryan asked kindly, a sweet smile etched beautifully on his face. Aryan supported sago, deliberately looking at Vania with a look that was difficult to interpret.

It's not that Aryan doesn't know that Vania lives in Tara's apartment, but he just keeps quiet because he knows that with him Vania is around Tara it will be safer for him. Maybe Tara never told him, but Aryan knew there was something special in Vania's body.

Vania nodded politely, "Okay Mr. Aryan."

"At Tara's company you are only a cleaning worker, even though I still need an assistant. You don't want to be my assistant, don't worry about salary, I guarantee you will be satisfied." Aryan offered, he chuckled when he found Jo glancing at him sarcastically. "If you're interested, then you can start working right now."

"Vania will not change jobs, she is contracted at my company." Tara comes and immediately rejects Aryan's offer. Tara's cold tone was enough to show that she was angry, she didn't like Aryan offering Vania another job. If Vania agrees with Aryan's offer, it means that Vania will leave the company. Tara would never let Vania go out of her sight!

"Just offering a better job, right who knows Vania would?" Aryan answered nonchalantly, he shrugged casually.

Tara sat beside Vania, dancing her closer to her. "Vania and I are getting married, so Vania doesn't have to work anymore."

Aryan laughed in disbelief, looking at Tara and Vania in turn. He shook his head slowly, a sense of disappointment he could not avoid in his heart. He should have known that it would end up like this in the end, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that had been there for a long time.

"Although I can't believe it, but congratulations to both of you." Aryan said while nodding in understanding.

Vania exhaled slowly, for some reason seeing Aryan's cloudy face suddenly felt uncomfortable. Vania forcibly shifted her seat to create a distance from Tara, smiling faintly at Aryan. "Mr. Tara is just kidding, we're not getting married."

As soon as he heard Vania's words, a satisfied smile appeared on Aryan's lips. He laughed triumphantly, mocking Tara who was now cloudy. "It turns out that Mr. Tara can joke too, I think Mr. Tara is a person who is always serious all his life."

Tara snorted in annoyance hearing Aryan's sarcasm, annoyed that Vania said she would not marry him. Now Tara is wondering, has his good looks reduced to the point that Vania refuses his marriage invitation?

"Oh yes." Aryan asked, deliberately trying to distract. "Was another intruder caught?"

"How many intruders have come in, Daddy?" Jo, who suddenly raised his voice, looked at Tara with a confused look. "Wasn't the intruder only one person?"

"The two of them, one werewolf and one human. That's why they weren't detected by our system, because the ones moving into the apartment were ordinary people." Tara explained in a fairly heavy tone.

Vania, who didn't understand and didn't know anything, just listened silently, but her arms around Jo's body tightened. I don't know what happened, Vania couldn't help but think calmly.

"That means the enemy is cooperating with humans, then we have to increase the security." Aryan made a suggestion which Tara and Jo couldn't help but agree on.

Tara glanced at Vania, "I have something I want to talk to you about, come with me!"

Vania let go of Jo's arms, then got up and followed Tara into her study. Once inside the room, Vania chose to sit on the sofa opposite Tara.

"What is it?" Vania asked directly. Seeing Tara's gloomy face, Vania became curious. Is there something serious? Vania thought not calm.

"I have news for your uncle, but I hope you digest it well." Tara spoke heavily, because the news she brought was a little uncomfortable for Vania. "Will you be okay if I tell you?"

"Tell me what's up first!" Vania replied with a shaking day, "I'll try to be fine."

Tara exhaled slowly, rubbing her face roughly. He was confused about whether it was good to tell Vania, but hiding it would not be good for Vania either. After all, Vania has the right to know who her uncle is.

"There's two news, good and bad. Which news do you want to know first?" Tara gives a choice.

"Say both!"

"The good news is that your uncle is fine," Tara said, which made Vania immediately breathe a sigh of relief, but the next word made Vania both curious and scared. "And the bad news is..."
