Chapter Three Hundred and Fifty

Third Person POV

Sarah insisted on taking her mother on her date with Ella's father, she was very happy when her mother told her that he asked her out to dinner. Since their crude father passed away, she has been praying and hoping that her mother will find a man that will cherish her and she believes that Jerry Williams could be the man. Sarah was the one that personally dressed her mother up and make her up and drove her to the restaurant but she did not stop there, she was teasing Jerry as soon as she noticed how nervous the man is. Ella told her the reason her father seems to be taking time to ask her mother out and she understands why he is so nervous, it is not easy for the man to do this, she just hopes that he will overcome his nervousness so that their date can go smoothly.

Laura don't like how Sarah was teasing Jerry, she want to smack her head but held herself from doing so, she can't believe that Sarah is treating her like a little kid. While they were seated inside the restaurant going through the menu, Laura don't understand one bit of what is written on the menu. Jerry panicked thinking that she won't like the restaurant but calmed down when she explained that she did not understand what is written on the menu. Okay, don't worry and trust me, I will order for you and I promise that they will be delicious, Jerry assured her. Laura nodded in agreement cause she don't see any reason to argue or disagree with him, he is the rich guy here and he must be a frequent customer here, Jerry ordered their food and the waiter left to get their order.

Laura felt the need to apologize for her daughter's behaviour out there cause she thought it was a little embarrassing. Am sorry for what my daughter said to you outside there, you know she can be a little brat if she wants to, she apologized. No, no, there is no need for you to apologise to me I find her cute and it got to show how much she loves you and she is willing to protect you, I admire that in a person, He told her. Okay if you say so and I want to ask you something if you don't mind, Laura said to him. Of course, I don't mind, ask me what you want to ask, Jerry told her. Am sorry am a straightforward person that is why I want to ask, what is this? I mean what are we doing now and what do you intend to get out of it? Laura asked.

I want to know you better, from the day I saw you in my house I can't seem to get you off my mind, you just stuck there, so I want to whatever this is, Jerry answered her looking at her lovely. Okay, are we dating now? She asked him. If you want to, I don't mind dating you, I mean you are beautiful so I will not pass on such a rare opportunity, Jerry answered her. He is glad that she asked the question cause he doesn't know how to go about it and there she is making things easy for him.
