Chapter Three Hundred and Fifty-Two

Laura POV

Am so overwhelmed with what happened tonight, Jerry and I are finally official and this is the second time we are hanging out. We reached my house and I noticed the sour look on his face, this is the first time he is coming here and I was waiting for him to say what is going on in his mind at the moment but luckily he did not cause I won't lightly if he said something negative about my place. I stepped down from his car and leaned towards the window to wish him goodnight, Goodnight Jerry, I said to him. Goodnight Laura, He said back. I stepped back so that the driver can drive out, I stood in front of the door and watch him drive off. He stick his hand out of the window and was waving at me, it just look like we are in a movie, I returned his wave and I was waving at him until I can't see his car's light.

Are you going to continue standing there waving at an invisible car? I heard someone asked me behind me. I know who is behind that voice and am not ready for her teasing but I don't think I have any choice on the matter. Do you really have to stand behind me? I asked her trying to buy some time for myself before she will start teasing me. Well, you will not blame me, I heard the sound of a car and I was waiting for you to enter inside cause I know you are the that returned, but it seem like you are taking a lot of time so I decided to come out to see what is going on, only to see you waving at an invisible car, Sarah explained while smiling mischievously. I looked at her and I can't find the word to say her.

Can we go in now Miss Laura? Sarah asked stretching the Miss, there goes the beginning of her teasing. I did not utter any word and just walked inside, thinking that my silence will make her drop whatever she has in mind to ask me but who am I kidding? I walked towards the stairs, but hand halt my movement. I don't think that is the part of the agreement, Sarah said to me. I don't remember having any agreement with you, I replied her trying to apply a harsh tone. Now, am hurt and I don't think there should be any agreement cause it's normal for us to tell each other about our dates and I have always tell you everything about my date, Sarah pointed out. I know that she has a point and I can't say no to her.

Fair enough, so what do you want to know? I asked her. Everything that happened at your date, Sarah respond with so much enthusiasm. I told her everything that happened and the fact that Jerry and I are now official. Wow, am so happy for you Mum, you deserve to be happy, she said to me. I smiled at her cause this is what I want to hear. Should I start calling him Daddy, cause I can't wait to call him that, Sarah said wiggling her eyebrows. Don't get over your head Sarah, it might turn out to be nothing, I told her. Well, at least you get to experience proper dating and am sure that if things don't work out between the two of you, that you will cherish the moment the two of you spent together, Sarah said and walked upstairs to her room.
