Chapter Sixty-Three

Third Person POV

      December 25th

After the celebration at the Hamilton's Tavern the next day everybody checked out of the hotel and return home to rest and prepare for Christmas eve.

That night at the Tavern Rose reminded them of Mrs Vincent invitation they all assured her they are going to be present there. So today been twenty fifth December everyone is already gathered at Mrs Vincent mansion.

There is a lot of decoration in the house and the house is so beautiful is not like its their first time of being here but anytime they are here they marvelled at the building.  It's Sarah first time of been here and she have been gaping at the house since she walked in. She can't believe such beautiful house is in existence and she is wondering when she will be able to afford such house.

Like what you see? She heard someone spoke from her behind, she recognized the voice that's why she frozed when she heard his voice. That made her to remember what happened that night the night her boss got drunk on her behalf,she is trying to forget but she is not doing a good job at that.

What's wrong you are red? George asked with worry clearly written all over his face. Hmm nothing Sarah answered immediately because she is so embarrassed she can't believe she was blushing, mmmm I want to use the restroom where is it? Sarah asked George. Upstairs and there is one down the hall the staffs normally used so suit your self George answered.

Sarah quickly rushed down the hall, she is not pressed just that she want to escape from George because she know once he is beside her she won't stop blushing.

Flashback 

23rd December night

After they are through with their game and celebration George is already drunk to the extent he passed out inside the bar. Sarah was feeling so guilty cause she know it's because of her that George is this drunk. But what baffled her is that if George knew that he has low tolerance for alcohol like her why did he accept to drink on her behalf. That's the thought that kept on troubling her but she decided to ignore it and focus on how to get George out of the bar without any incident.

Luckily for Sarah Max is there to help her out, Max who is still confused why his friend will go through such trouble for Sarah decided that when George is sober that he will find out what is going on. The only thing to do now is to get his best friend in bed so that he can rest properly.

Sarah and Max brought George to his room while Max removed George clothing leaving him in his brief and tuck him in. Sarah went outside to get advil and bottled water.

When she came back George position in the bed is very funny his head is hanging off the bed. She placed the drug and water carefully on top of the drawer beside the bed. She then proceed to position George head very well, she was in the process of carrying his head when George eyes fluttered open.

Sarah,George murmured but Sarah heard him, yes boss it's me I just want to position you very well she told him. But the next word that George uttered made Sarah to froze, kiss me Sarah George uttered. Sarah had to look at him to make sure that he is awake cause it might be that he is just talking while sleeping but the man eyes are wide open.

Sarah was so confused the guy was looking at her, Sarah cleared her throat to make sure that she heard clearly or if the guy will say something. I want to taste your lips he said this time around, Sarah heart is about to fall off before she could gather her self and say something George lips are already on hers.

Shock is an understatement because Sarah was about to faint at any moment. Strangely George lips is more soft than Sarah expected before Sarah could savour the kiss George felled back on the bed. Sarah can't believe what just happened her boss kissed her and slept off just like that,she wanted to be angry but she remembered that George is drunk and there is a possibility that he don't know what he is doing.

Sarah chastised her self for allowing a man that is drunk to kiss her and the possibility of him not remember what happened today is very high. She quietly left the room after she covered George with blanket.

Present

Although Sarah tried to forget what happened and she prepared herself for how she will behave when she will see her boss at the Christmas party but everything went out the window immediately she heard his voice. Even till now she is still blushing though she is inside here to calm herself down but whenever she remembered how his lips are so soft she will blush again.

Max who have now made it his mission to observe the two saw Sarah blushed immediately George talked to her was so amazed at what he just observed. He can't believe that Sarah could like his best friend romantically despite the way the guy treated her in the past. Indeed love happen where you least expected it he muttered, but the problem Max is having now is that he is not sure whether his friend is ready for commitment cause he know Sarah is not the type of girl that is for fling or one night fun. Also there is Claire Davidson who George mother already introduced to George. Max scratched his neck because he knew things are now getting complicated and he is the one that will bear the complaints when the time comes.

Sarah finished with whatever she is doing inside the restroom when she came out thinking that she is ready to face whatever is out there. She was surprised rather shocked to see a lady hugging George and she must confessed the lady is exactly what George need beside him. The lady is beautiful, sophiscated,just by looking at her cloth you will know she is from a rich background. Sarah heart was breaking little by little but she quickly cautioned herself to behave cause she have no reason to be sad cause George is just her boss nothing else.
