George POV

Sarah and I have been getting real close for these past two weeks, she is a good company I must confess but I have not seen the perfect time to ask her about herself, her past relationship and current status. I decided to take her out for lunch today,I have already informed her about the lunch and am patiently waiting for time, I made a reservation at B-Nice restaurant they serve the best food there. It's lunch time Sarah and I headed towards the restaurant,we walked into the restaurant people were staring at us,at first I thought that am the center of attraction as usual but no,most men in there are ogling at Sarah while the ladies are murdering her with their eyes for been with me and also their men are ogling at her,Sarah seems like she did not noticed what is happening around if she did she did not showed it. Inside me am boiling those men are disrespectful can't they respect the fact that the lady is with a man,don't get me wrong am not jealous am just wondering what happened to the Brothers Code. We sat down and waited for the waiter to come and take our order,the waiter arrived and give us their menu and he asked us what we will like to drink while we go through the menu,I asked for wine while Sarah requested for orange juice,the waiter left to get our drinks before he came back we have already decided on what to eat,when the waiter arrived with our drinks we ordered what we want to eat. I am wondering how to start the conversation without sounding weird,it will be awkward to ask her about her relationship out of no where she might misunderstood me and think that I am interested in her ,I was still thinking on ways to engage her in a conversation when her voice brought me back she must have noticed that am thinking. Sorry what were you saying I asked her,emmm am asking if you are okay because you have been frowning she said. Yes am fine just that am wondering that since you started working for me,I know we did not have any friendly beginning but now that am trying I want to know you better just that I don't know how to start the conversation I said to her. Okay that's simple there is nothing much to know about me,am from a simple family just my mother and younger brother my father is late,the rest which is my academic qualification are in your office I mean you already know about that she answered. That's not the information am looking for,I already know all this thanks to my Private investigator but I have to be patient with her if I really want to get any information from her. Okay what about relationship, are you in any relationship I probed further,No am not in any relationship I broke up with my boyfriend already Sarah answered. Why? I mean why did you break up with him,this is the chance I have been looking for and am not letting it go. Sir don't you think your question is too personal and is not something I need to tell my boss Sarah shyly said.
