Chapter One Hundred and Eighty Seven
Third Person POV
Anna is really furious she can't believe that George outsmarted her the second time. I can't believe that fool was recording our conversation, am still glad that I did not went to the police station with my husband hence he would have been so disappointed at me, Anna mused. Anna decided that she will stay low for now and plan what to do with Sarah and George. The saying that every disappointment is a blessing is true, George getting a restraining order on me is a good thing, at least I can have the time to plan what I want to do to them and strike when they are not expecting it.
Melvin have been walking up and down since their butler told her that the police came over and they left with his wife. He is anxious to know what the outcome will be, how he wish that they will keep her there or even take her to psychiatrist home. Cause he is so desperate to know his wife mental health cause he is really concern about her and also afraid that her situation might get out of hand. Anna arrived home and Melvin pretended that he have been worried about her arrest.
Babe are you okay? Did they hurt you? Melvin asked looking so worried. Anna can't stand the worried look on her husband face, she really love him and she is ready to do everything for him, that is why he is so furious at George right now for making her lovely husband worried. I will kill you George and kill that little girlfriend of yours and destroy everything you have, Anna vowed within her. Am fine babe I was just invited to the station not arrested, Anna said nonchalantly. Why did they invite you to the station? Melvin asked.
Anna quickly come up with a lie, well it's just a case of mistaken identity, Anna answered. Mistaken identity? How did that happen? Who is the person they mistook you for? Melvin bombarded her with questions. Well it doesn't matter now what matter the most is that it's all settled, Anna said trying to close the topic. Okay if you say so, it's just that I was so worried when I heard that the policemen took you to the station, Melvin said. Anna hugged her husband, she really miss being intimate with her husband and she can't waste this opportunity but Melvin who sensed what Anna want to do stylishly disentangle himself from the hug.
At Vin Company
George was very happy that their plan is going accordingly, at least he is now sure of getting a restraining order for Anna. He was in his office when somebody knocked on the door, he ushered the person and it turned out to be Rose. Aunty Rose, George called while smiling. Rose already understand the meaning behind that smile but decided to ignore George for now. Guess what? Rose asked while smiling. We got the restraining order, George said while smiling cause he will be the happiest man if that is the case. Yes we got the restraining order, Fred just called and informed me about it, Rose told her.
Wow that's great, have he already invited Anna yet? George asked. Yes he have and from look of things Anna is not happy one bit about it, Rose said. That is to be expected, she will not be happy about it but that's not my concern for now, I will now take Sarah to all the places I have in mind, George said. That's a good idea I mean taking Sarah to places but I will advice that you should be careful cause Anna don't look to me as someone who will not give up because of a restraining order, Rose advised George.
George looked at Rose and scratched his head cause he don't want to be reminded that it's not over yet, he want to enjoy himself and his girlfriend without having any negative thought. Am aware of it Aunty but I want to enjoy this moment with Sarah without thinking of any danger lurking around, George told her. Rose looked at George and heaved a sigh of course she understand how he feels but this is not the time to loose guard cause Anna might spring a surprise on them despite the restraining order.
I will be a liar if I say that I don't know or understand how you feel but the situation on ground will not allow us especially you and Sarah to be carefree now, like you observed Anna seemed like someone who is not mentally stable, so her action will be unpredictable, Rose said. Okay Aunty I have heard I will be careful, I will have guards around me all the time but Anna will not stop me from having fun with my girlfriend cause spending time with her is now long over do, George said to Rose.
Whatever make you sleep at night do it, I will let you be now I have somewhere I need to be, Rose said to George. George smiled mischievously the moment he heard what Rose said. Do you mean you have to be with Fred? George teased Rose. Shut up George and focus on your work and how to protect yourself and Sarah, Rose cautioned George while trying to hide her flustered face but George was able to see through her. Tell me Aunty who is he? Your crush? Ex Boyfriend? Old acquaintance? Tell me Aunty am curious, George started whining.
Rose stand up and walked towards the door without answering any of George question. Are you now ignoring me! George exclaimed. Don't worry you just gave me a new mission I must surely find out who he is to you, George stated with so much determination. Why don't you channel that energy towards Sarah and stop poke nosing into others business, Rose respond and left the office while smiling. George smiled to himself cause he have something to tease Rose with. Yes it's time to visit Los Angeles! George shouted inside his office like a kid that just discovered his favorite candy.
