Julia's POV 🍎
"I'm not. I'm just.... getting to know her"she said eyeing me
"She works for me", Harrison said
"And she has your spare keys?",Gwen asked surprised.
"Yes, the nature of her job demands it",my boss said.
I stood there as they exchanged a few more words.
"Sorry sir, I need to get your stuff", I said excusing myself to pick up his stuff upstairs leaving the strange lady and my boss alone.

Harrison's POV
"I remember when getting a hold of your key was a big deal and now just anyone can have it? Really?",Gwen said making a big deal out of this.
"Gwen, why are you here?", I asked her .
"I'm bringing Damien back",she said getting closer to where I stood.
"Here?
"Yes
"Why?", I asked
"Working and taking care of him in Manchester is way too much for me". I was hoping you can play a stronger part in his life. " Besides, I want to come home and reside here",she continued.
"You know I'm not your son's father", I told her.
"I know..but you've been with him",she said whining.
"That's much I can do. I don't what you to get confused with what I have with him".
"Harrison, you mean the whole world to him".
"And I don't take that for granted ok?. "Look, when we were dating, I felt responsible for him and now, we're no longer dating. I can only be a distant uncle", I said vividly to her.
"But I was hoping..-",she was about to say but I interrupted her by raising my hand to stop her from insisting.
"We don't have nothing anymore".
"Fine. I came to London to see you and make some plans but I guess I shouldn't have. I'm sorry", she said disappointedly.
"So am I", I said and she turns back to leave.
Gwen was my college girlfriend. At first, I thought she'll be this loving and hardworking lady because back in college, she was a part of the best students, not the very best but average. I found interest in her and that led to us dating. Afterwards, she became too clingy and demanding. She wanted us to be intimate even in public. I remember the time she kissed me in front of the cafeteria and volleyball court in the presence of my colleagues . She also seduced me when I found her waiting for me in one of the male restrooms to have sex with her me in the stall and and that was my first time having it. I wasn't pleased at all when she wanted me to do things her way, without my consent. She got pregnant when school went on vacations at the time with one of my mates in the football team, David and that led to our breakup.
Julia came down shortly after Gwen left as she approached me with my belongings.
"I'm very sorry about all that", I said to Julia.
"Yeah it's fine sir", Julia said sending a tendril of her hair behind her ear.
"Um.. alright do you have something to discuss on our way?
"Yes sir", she responded
"Ok let's go so you can let me know.
"Yes sure",she said as we headed towards the parking lot where my driver had already pulled up.

I n my car....
"Ok sir,so if they'd give us sometime to analyze consumer data we've gathered and that they can use this data to Target the right audience, launch new products or refine existing ones", Julia trailed off reading the schedules from her tablet.
"The hurry, what can we do?
"Erm, they're asking for a lot sir. They've also done consumer feedbacks that'll have them intervene with additional services customers want. "It'll help them plan their new product design",she continued.
"And what can the market team work with?", I asked her.
"Umm.. sir they can use the data we've collected to create or refine the market strategy",she said looking at me for approval. I nodded my head agreeing to what she said.
"Ok can this data be properly analysed and ready for presentation?
"Oh sir it's already done",she said quickly.
At the moment I was happy. I chuckled unbelievably agreeing to what my partner said about Julia earlier on.
I sensed her confusion from the way she nervously looked at me.
"What sir?", She asked.
"Persus was right. "No wonder he likes you. "You're very hard-working and dedicative . "I already appreciate your work", I told her which was a fact.
"Thank you sir", I heard her say and there was silence.
"What else do we have apart from the presentation?
"Sir, we have a representative from Kovana Enterprise waiting for you",she continued to say
I sighed audibly not wanting to get in touch with them.
"Uww, I hate talking to those people. We never make any headway with them.
"Oh sir no,they sent Ann. "You know she's easy to talk with",she assured me.
"Ok if it's Ann then I'd see her. Send her in when I'm settled.
"Yes sir-",she said but I reminded her
"Oh and umm.. follow up on Persus." Ask him about the contract because we have invested enough on our project".
"Ok sir,fine sir",she said right after my phone beeped and
I picked it up.
"Excuse me".
"Yes sir",she said politely.
"Hello?", I said answering the call
"Yeah, I have sent the documents to your email", I told the person on the other side of the call and hanged up.
"Um driver please hurry we have a meeting, thank you", I heard Julia say to the driver.

At my office
A knock came on the door when I was seated behind my desk typing away on my Apple Mac
laptop.
"Yes come in"I said upon hearing the knock at the door. Noticing the person entering ,I stood up and smiled to welcome her with a handshake.
It was Ann. A beautiful lady with a creamish white skin and pixie cut black hair. I must admit, I admire her.
She smiled and chuckled ,her dimples on display.
"Hi",
"Mr Harrison why do I feel like you're avoiding us?", Ann said
"Well I'm not. "Have a seat", I told her as I did myself.
"Thank you." O hey! What's the problem?",she asked once she was seated.
