The Next Spot

"Murano, I know that you have this thing going on with Barou, but you can't ignore his skills either," Kurona commented.

Murano answered, grabbing his jaw, "No doubt."

Murano continued, "Man, I really don't want to pick him though."

Kurona sternly reminded Murano, "Look, I joined you because I want a team that can win.

"Get your act together, Murano!" Kurona grabbed Murano's neck and told him off.

"Get your hands off me, you can pick him if you want," Murano said as he walked out of the room.

"Not like that shrimp could've done anything to help us," Murano added before leaving.

Kurona sighed in frustration, watching Murano storm out of the room.

He couldn't understand why Murona was so reluctant to pick Barou. They needed all the help they could get if they wanted to stand a chance against their strongest foes.

Stage Three: Gathering area

Kurona and Barou leave to take a break while Murano waits to find challenging opponents for their upcoming match. He waits there, assessing passersby's skills as they pass.

"That stupid hero couldn't do anything in the end," Shidou said as he entered the room with a joker-grin expression on his face and walked into the room with Reo and Igarashi (the monk).

He added, "He was just a slime who didn't even help me level up.

Murano glanced at him, as he examined his stats.

Shido is a tall, lanky young man with two spiky blonde strands of hair that hang on either side of his face. His pink eyes have white, cat-like, silted pupils. He is very expressive and frequently sports a joker-like grin or smirk.

Shido's primary means of scoring was the drive shot, a precise and potent shot that is typically used from a distance. Shido can execute a drive shot at a variety of ranges, whether they are advantageous or not. Shido executes the Drive Shot using his superior physique and quick reflexes to avoid having to adjust his positioning.

Shidoue said angrily, "What you looking at stupid," with conviction in his voice.

Shidou smiled and said, "Wasn't he the top scorer in your stratum?"

Igarashi retorted, "He scored 15 goals, yeah."

"Well, won't you look at that? I found myself an ant to crush," Shidou scoffed, crossing his arms defiantly. Despite Shidou's provocative words, Murano remained calm.

"Well, we still have to wait on the 24-hour time limit," Igarashi reminded them.

Murano placed his hands in his pockets and left the clearing room, saying, "You know where I'm at, come and find me when the timer ends."

Shidou watched as Murano walked away, his confidence unshaken. The room fell silent, the tension was thick in the air.

Igarashi glanced at Shidou, a mix of admiration and concern in his eyes. "You really know how to push people's buttons," he muttered under his breath.

Shidou smirked, satisfied with the reaction he had provoked. Murano's calm demeanor had unsettled him.

Training Field

The three of them then train their weapons together in the training room, with Murano joining Kurona and Barou. The three engaged in a long and intense Barou workout.

When it was time to start playing together, Murano moved gracefully and precisely, each step carefully thought out and intentional. He would often shift between offense and defense with ease, foreseeing every move of Kurona and Barou. It seemed that they were no match for his skill and experience, but they fought valiantly nonetheless.

I've heard what y'all been saying. I'll try to keep the pace a little slower. Thanks for supporting me so far, especially witting my first fanfic ever. Kudos to you all.
