A Dream: Fifty Thousand Years Ago

The kid watched as the spear made its way toward him, his eyes were wide open, and his mind was racing.

He knew he had to move or else the spear would hit him, but his legs were frozen.

He couldn't move a single inch.

'I shouldn't have followed this guy.'

'Damn it.'

The child could only curse.

His body was frozen, and he couldn't move at all.

'Move! Move!'

'Come on, move!'

But no matter how much he struggled, he couldn't get his body to listen.

The spear was closing in, and soon it would reach him.

The spear was flying at him, and he could only watch in horror as the tip was aiming for his heart and was now mere inches away.

He closed his eyes in resignation.

The child was startled, he had heard a sound and he could feel a strong wave of air fluttering his hair, so he was confused.
