Chapter 4: Kathryn

"The Kraken and Medusa had a daughter. I'm pretty sure that's not how the story goes," Isaiah said, which made Kat laugh.

"How does that even work?" Isaiah said, imaging tentacles and Medusa.

"My guess is exactly how you imagined it, Perv," Kat said jokingly.

"But it's not like you can talk. Isn't your dad like living Psychic energy or something". Kat said as they both laughed.

"Ok, ok, cease-fire, cease-fire," Isaiah said.

"Anyways, I just wanted to get a good look at you; that is all," Kat said, getting back on her floaty soaking in the sunlight.

"Wait, how is the sun getting down here anyways?" Isaiah asked.

"Do you want the complicated answer or the simple answer?" Kat replied.

"Simple," Isaiah said.

"Easy magic." Isaiah shook his head yes.

"Of course it is," Isaiah said, shaking his head with his stupid question.

The maid and Isaiah continued their walk to the tiny homes. Once their Isaiah noticed that all the homes were in one giant circle. All the Tiny homes had a stone privacy fence with a buzzer on the outside door.

They were actually two stores with two shipping containers stacked on top of each other. They were all different colors; some had graffiti on them while others didn't.

Before Isaiah asked which one is his, he said.

"Let me guess the bright green one is mine."

"Yes, how did you know?" the maid said, surprised.

"I have the feeling that although I don't like the color, I'll definitely be Associated with it from now on," Isaiah said, complaining.

"If you have nothing else for me, I'll be on my way, sir." The maid said with a bow while leaving. Isaiah headed to his Tiny home, levitating his luggage behind him.

Both of the front doors were unlocked, thankfully, because Isaiah didn't want to look stupid having to call the maid back for help or even just busting through the door with his powers.

Isaiah entered the tiny home, which looked a lot bigger on the inside.

The First Floor had a decent size kitchen with a gas stove. The living room had a black leather sectional with a giant screen TV and a PlayStation 5. The second floor had a king-size bed with a desk and a well-built computer. The bathroom had a Jacuzzi-style tub with a separate shower.

Isaiah flopped on the bed, starting to relax till he noticed the note on the desk with the computer. Isaiah got up and read the message: All of your school uniforms are in the closet next door to the entrance. Classes start at 8:00am Mon- Friday.

"Wow, I didn't expect this school to have uniforms." Isaiah thought. He looked at his Webwatch, and it read 5:30pm. "It's only 5. It feels like I had such a long day, Isaiah said to himself, stretching.

Before Isaiah could get back on his bed, his doorbell went off. "What? I already have a guest. I didn't think anyone would see me come in." Isaiah had no idea why he wasn't really up to many social interactions for some un-none reason.

He was exhausted from the number of people he talked to today. But Isaiah still managed to go to the door, not wanting to be impolite.

Once Isaiah opened the door, he was glad he did.

Once Isaiah opened the door, he saw a beautiful dark skin girl with locs that went down to her shoulders. She had deep brown eyes and a figure hard to make out because her face was so pretty. Isaiah thought to himself.

She was wearing a grey sweatshirt with black legging shorts and running shoes with tube socks. All the piercings she had, Isaiah liked, which wasn't many from what he could see.

She had a nose ring and 3 earrings on each side of her ear. She gave off a hippie/punk vibe.

"Howdy, neighbor." The girl said.

"Hel,...Hello," Isaiah said, sounding nervous.

"My name is Lia Harris, and I live next door to you. I wanted to introduce myself since we're the only ones that live on this side of the circle." Lia said without making eye contact.

"So as a housewarming gift, I decided to give you some fruit that I grew myself," Lia said, bowing and presenting the fruit.

"Why are you bowing?" Isaiah said, making an awkward face.

Lia immediately shot back up with a face of embarrassment. "Sorry, I guess I watch too much Anime," Lia said in a low voice.

"You like anime!?" Isaiah said in excitement.

Lia looks Isaiah up and down in confusion.

"What are you saying you do to? You don't look like you like anime."

Isaiah immediately put his hands together for the 1000 year death seal then said. "Believe it" Lia's shy personality did a 180.

She immediately barged into Isaiah's tiny home, sat on his couch, and said. "Come on, let's eat some fruit and watch some Anime," Lia said, patting the seat next to her.

"I could definitely marry this girl," Isaiah said to himself.

After about a good 2 hours of watching different anime shows and talking about their favorite episodes, Lia and Isaiah's conversation takes a turn.

After Isaiah finishes an orange in the fruit basket that Lia brought. "Wait, you said you grew these yourself? So the sunlight can get that strong down here?" Isaiah says, floating the orange peel to the trash can.

"Well, yes and no, I'm sure my powers have a pretty significant influence. Lia says, biting into an apple.

"You should know this though; your system should have s; then of inspectability. Lia said.

Isaiah sits up from the couch. "What system?" Isaiah says.

"Well, don't Psychics have a system that tells them their current states and abilities?" Lia says.

"Not that I know of; then again, the only other psychics I know are my parents," Isaiah said, making a thinking face.

"Well, if it is, I can always just give you one of your own," Lia says with a smile.
