Chapter 2: Married from birth

Amari gets out of her room changed into a Flora yellow short dress, climbing down the stairs, "Am here mother" Amari says downstairs as she smiles at getting mother.

she spots something at the side of her eyes, as she slowly turns to her front as her eyes widen seeing a man in his late twenties.

He had a sharp jaw, full cherry lips brown muscular body visible height of 6 ft 2, he had full lashes, not two long not two short, a pointed nose, smooth white skin, and dark black slick tousled hair.

His aura was quite intimidating with no smile on his face at all, he had a Stern look, and a cold vibe emitting from him, he seem like someone third father dragged from his office of work, I doubt he had time for his wife.

But I don't think his wife would mind, it's a blessing to be married to such a devilishly handsome Demi god, his simple outfit looked so good on him, I doubt anything would look formal on him, things are ugly till he wears it.

He wore black long sleeves and a pair of black jeans and black kicks, some buttons were kept open exposing his chiseled ab, he wore a casual outfit but he looked so hot in it.

What am I saying, I would never speak like this, his already occupying my thoughts, who even is he?

His eyes locked with mine for a moment scanning me from head to toe sinking in my features, from my hair to my dark hazel eyes and my long lashes to my pointed nose then my small pink lips.

Tracing to my collar bones, admiring my floral yellow dress, then finally my bare paled pink feet as he knows his brow.

I couldn't help but cut eye contact with reddened cheeks, "Shit" I mutter under my breath,' He's quite tall, did he have to look down?', 'Couldn't he stick to looking at the sky damn?

My height in comparison a mockery of my judging his 6ft2 and I was 5ft 6,' how embarrassing, I immediately turn to my mother giving her a questioning look, "Mother who is he?"I ask my mother but she only smiled.

This is Lincoln fox and his father Rowan, They have come to renew the alliance, "Is Aaron gay?"Amari asked confused as Lincoln Arch's his brow surprised, "Do I give the impression of being gay?"Lincoln asked surprised.

"you gave me the arrogant playboy impression," Amari says honestly, "Shh" Mrs. Waylen hushes Amari, "I see, but am not here for your brother,on the contrary am here for you my darling, wife, "Lincoln says with a mischievous smirk.

"This is your future husband Waylen says as Amari's mouth flung open, "Pardon my tone mother but, WHAT THE HELL MOM!!"Amari says flabbergasted.

She turns to Lincoln still in shock as he winks at her,"Yes wifey"Lincoln says with a satisfied smirk, "Seriously guys he got to be at least a couple of years older than me" she tries I explain.

"Am not even up to the age of an alliance,you can't do this I don't want to get married through an arrangement" Amari tries to convince them.

"How else do you plan on getting married?, through love?"Mr Waylen asks as they all burst out laughing except Amari of course including Lincoln,"Well duhh"Amari says with an eye roll.

"Amari my child if you want to marry out of love the universe will most likely give you a poor ass to change their live"Mr waylen explains.

"and your life will either be him staying at your mansion or you staying at his crappy apartment"Mr waylen adds as they all had another round of laughter.

Mr waylen steps forward to Amari cupping her cheek,"You deserve better, like Lincoln who has the world at his feet,his a billionaire with a multi billion dollar company,severe mansions, their a major for my real estate and company" My waylen explains.

And how does that affect me and my future?"Amari scoffs,"His bastardly wealthy"Mr waylen simply says with an intense gaze and Stern expression.

"Do you know how many girls will kill for this opportunity,but he choose you" Mrs waylen says with tilted head and raised brows.

"Guess there is going to be a purge then"Amari says removing her father's hands from her face as she heads upstairs.

"Amari wait!!"Mrs waylen calls out,"I can't hear you"Amari says still heading up the stairs

"It seems your parents didn't let you in on a little piece of vital information" Lincoln's deep voice echoes in the mansion,as Amari turns around. "About?" Amari asked with arched brows.

"Our alliance has been fixed years ago"Lincoln informs her as she gaze at her father,"Is what his saying true?" Amari asked her father's as he nods.

"I had made a promise to Rowan that if I get a female child I'll marry her off to his only son Lincoln, this is just renewing the how I made"Mr waylen says.

Tears gathered Amari's eye's swelled with tears,"You married me off at birth, to him"Amari says as she looks at Lincoln who's face was back to being expressionless.

Amari walked back downstairs with streaming tears as she stand in front of her parents "you can't do this,I don't accept this engagement"Amati says firmly with a cracked voice.

"ANOUGH!!"Lincoln voice roared silencing everyone as Amari tears seized from fear.

"I and my father has had enough of your drama,why didn't you tell your daughter about the vow,why waste our time talking sense into a little kid"lincoln says as he sighs.

" she's obviously not even up to eighteen,she lacks maturity and understanding clearly,my time is precious and if she doesn't want this, then screw it"Lincoln says getting annoyed.

"But know one thing,if this doesn't hold today,then forget our partnership" Lincoln says sternly pointing at Mr waylen,he turns to Amari who was shivering with fear.

"Little brat"Lincoln scoffs heading to the door walking away, "Hold it Mr arrogant!!!"Amari calls out as Lincoln turns around.

"Who are to point at my father and threaten him huh,what gave you the audacity and impetus to talk to him in such manner that lack respect,we may not need up to your standard of wealth but that doe-","Your right you're not up to our standard"Lincoln says holding onto the door handle.

"Dont you dare interrupt me again Mr arrogant"Amari warns,"Its Lincoln fox" Lincoln says opening the door,"I don't give a damn what your called" Amari says as Lincoln turns around swiftly.

"I can buy and sell you"Lincoln says already burning in rage, "You can't even afford me with all the money in the world,am a priceless jewel"Amari scoffs at him.

"Do you know who your talking to?" Lincoln says with arched brows, "Lincoln. fucking. fox" Amari says walking slowly to him.

"Don't you ever point at my dad,and for this alliance,*laughs*Am already married from birth aren't I,so it's accepted by me and my family"Amari says standing front of him looking up at him.

"I will make sure you regret each and everyday married to me just you watch,you'll be begging for a divorce" Amari says in a low tone to only both of them hearing.

As Lincoln clears his throat as she turns around,"So it's settled,I'll be engaged to Lincoln fucking fox what a dream"Amari says as she walks to the stairs heading up,"Bye hubby!!"She yells heading to her room.

Lincoln clears his throat once more, "Lets go father"Lincoln says as Mr Rowan nods heading to the door, "Goodbye waylen"Mr Rowan days as him and his son head out closing the door behind.

"Can you believe that"Mrs waylen says with a loud sigh,"I know, it went well!!"Mr waylen says with a huge grin living his wife with a unreadable expression,"What the fuck"Mrs waylen say
