Chapter 4

She looked at him with teary eyes.

"I don't. I really don't." she told him in a voice that was barely a whisper.

He smirked, looking down at her.

'So you think you're going to play me first? Too bad for you because I saw your real face years ago. I know how vicious you can be. But you're a really talented actor, I'll give you that.' he thought.

He looked down at her lips and kissed it ever so softly. He could feel her trembling under him.

'Good. Fear me. This is just the beginning.' he thought as he broke the kiss.

He then got off of her.

"Don't worry. I'm not going to do anything to you yet." he told her and smirked before he added. "Not unless you beg me for it."

She got up and looked at him with hate. Without saying anything, she got up and stormed to the bathroom.

He snorted.

"Oh, you have no idea what's coming for you." he said in a low tone, looking at her bathroom door.

He then let out a small breath and walked to the window.

A few minutes later, she walked out of the bathroom, wearing the dress he bought her, and looked at him. She was still feeling pissed about him because of how he played her earlier. She saw him turning around to look at her as she grabbed her bags.

"That dress looks pretty on you." he told her. Although it was supposed to be a sarcastic remark, he really did think that the dress looked pretty on her.

She didn't respond to him and just left after grabbing her things. He thought that she was mad about the dress and smirked.

He jogged a little to catch up with her.

"Plum." he called her, following her from behind, but she didn't stop, so he grabbed her hand and stopped. "Plumeria. Hey, listen to me."

She jerked her hand away roughly and looked at him. She had a lot to say to him. In fact, she wanted to slap him for what he did to her, but she didn't because she was afraid that it would come back to her parents. So she didn't say anything and turned around to leave.

She walked away as he followed her.

"At least let me drive you home." He told her.

"No thanks." She told him a little rudely, but he still followed her.

She walked outside the hotel and a couple were giving their kids balloons, but as soon as the kid grabbed it, the balloon burst loudly.

Plumeria jerked at the loud sound and held her ears. Her heart started beating loudly and her breathing got faster and deeper. She looked scared and started having difficulty breathing.

Levi frowned, looking at her from behind.

'Is she acting again to get my attention?' he thought when she collapsed to her knees.

He rushed up to her and looked at her. He realized that she was having a panic attack.

She started hearing this loud ringing in her ear and couldn't hear anything. Someone grabbed her shoulder and shook her. Slowly, she looked up and realized that it was Levi. He had a worried expression on his face. She could feel his lips moving and she knew that he was saying something to her, but she couldn't hear a thing. She grabbed his arms tightly in desperation.

'Help me.' she thought, looking at him.

He holds her face with one hand and speaks even louder, but she still couldn't hear him. But she smelled something off of him, which was strangely soothing. Even the warmth coming off his hand felt strangely calming. It wasn't an alien feeling for her. It felt so familiar to her.

The ringing in her ears dulled down, and she started hearing him little by little.

"Deep breath! Take deep breaths and concentrate on my voice!" He told her.

'His voice… it's… comforting for some reason.' she thought as she did what he instructed to do.

After a few minutes, for the first time in her life, she calmed down without losing consciousness or getting dragged to the hospital.

She looked at him hopefully.

Yes, she didn't like him, but he was the first one to calm her down from the panic attack.

"You okay?" he asked her with a look of concern on his face.

She looked at him and gave him a tired nod. He helped her up as she tried to stand, but her legs felt wobbly and she fell against him.

"Easy." He told her, holding her by the waist.

She looked at him and felt her heart skip a beat. Earlier, she was too concerned with her dress and then the way he played with her to notice that he was actually quite good looking.

He had beautiful navy blue eyes and silvery hair with black roots, which he probably got dyed somewhere. He had a sharp nose, beautiful pink thin lips, well-defined jawline and low curved eyebrows. His silvery hair was a bit messy, but parted to the sides from the middle. He looked like he was a sculpture.

'How can someone look so handsome?' she thought.

"Can you walk?" He asked her, bringing her back to reality.

She pursed her lips lightly. She felt too tired to move. He didn't ask her again and, to her surprise, he suddenly lifted her off her feet and carried her to the car.

He opened the door of the car and let her sit inside before he went to sit in the driver's seat.

When he was inside, he looked at her.

"How long have you had panic attacks?" he asked her.

"Ever since I was young." She told him.

"What causes it?" he asked her with a slight frown because from what he remember she didn't use to have panic attacks when they were kids.

"Any sudden loud noises can trigger it." She told him. "Like a balloon popping or a party popper, etc."

'Was it because of that?' he thought, looking at her.

"How bad does it get?" he asked her.

"Pretty bad. I lose consciousness and if I don't get treated, then it gets life threatening." She told him.

He looked at her and saw that she looked very tired out.

"Tell me your home address. I'll drop you there." he told her.

She shook her head.

"Take me to Crystal hospital instead. I had an appointment with my psychiatrist there." She told him and added. "Plus, my sister is also there, so I'll meet her too."

"Your twin? Celia, right?" he asked her.

She nodded and felt her eyes drooping.

He had more questions for her, but he didn't ask anymore, seeing that she was tired.

Yes, he wanted to take revenge, but not like this. He would have revenge later on her when she would be awake and alert.

Even though he hated her, he still had a soft spot for her because she was his first love. He didn't want to admit it, and anger also clouded his true feelings for her.

A few minutes later, they reached the hospital.

"We're here." he told her, taking off his seatbelt.

He glanced at her and saw that she was fast asleep. She turned his body and looked at her.

She looked beautiful, and he always used to find her beautiful.

She had beautiful golden blond hair and a small delicate heart-shaped face. Her eyes were green, and she had pretty long eyelashes with thin well shaped eyebrows. She had creamy white soft skin.

He felt his heart skip a beat while looking at her.

'If only you were as pure and innocent as you pretended to be, then maybe…' he let his thoughts drift away.

But then he suddenly remembered the things she did, and he looked at her with hatred.

'Never again will I believe anything that you say or do.' he thought looking at her.
