An Ordinary Statement, A Deeper Meaning

In a gloomy cell at the State Security Prison in North Korea, was the man who went by the name Hwang So Cho, popularly known as Comrade Hwang. Whilst in the cell, his fellow inmates kept mumbling about the reason for his imprisonment. One of them showed insight by coming to him and asking: "Is it true that the Vice-president is behind your arrest?"

Comrade Hwang sat with his back to the wall and his eyes tightly shut. Yet, in this semi-unconscious state, he responded by saying: "Of what importance is that to you?"

"Well, if that is the case, then you might spend a lot of time here", the inmate went on with his thoughts.

"Are you a great timekeeper? Or is everyone's destiny in your hands? I tell you, we shall end this conversation with me bidding goodbye to you. If you want to, I can get you out of here. But, if you wish to stay, then keep on asking things of less importance", Comrade Hwang reasoned like a wiseman.
