"The Rotten Ones Cannot Be Maintained"

Reporter Kim wanted to go on with her business, but I had something to tell her. Nevertheless, she wasn't ready to hear me out. I got into her car with the man and together we headed for the karaoke bar.

I didn't want to ruin the mood, but time was ticking for me as well. The press conference had to happen in no time and Reporter Kim had to inform the Ice Queen about it before Lawyer Go sees her. I definitely had to speak up.

I tried to explain things by saying: "Excuse me, I am not…"

But she cut me short by saying: "I already know that you don't belong to the newsroom. Are you a newbie?"

"No, I…" Once again she didn't allow me to explain before mentioning: "It doesn't matter though. I like your bravery. But you do know what you've gotten yourself into, right? We can be beaten, kidnapped or killed."

I didn't know what she was talking about but she sounded funny in my ears so I ended up chuckling.

"Do you think this is funny?" She asked after I chuckled.
