After the meal.
" How about we have a movie night today? " Nanny suggested.
" That's a good idea, Nanny! Let's think of a movie that we haven't watched. "
" Um... I have watched lots of movies but only a few left a deep impression on me. " Joseph said.
" Oh... What about you, Nanny? "
" Well... There's this movie I watched years ago which I would love to watch. "
" Oh... Do you remember the title of the movie, nanny? "
" Not really... But I can recollect that the film had a fairy godmother who was half good and bad. She was very loving and caring to the little princess but she hated the princess's father due to the bad thing he did to her when they were Younger. " Nanny said.
" Wait, isn't that magnificent? " Joseph said.
" Yes! It should be magnificent! " Nanny said.
" I guess it is. So yeah, we are going to watch magnificent one and two tonight! " Mira announced with the clap of her hands.
" Sure. "
" Let's start the preparations. " Nanny announced and they all nodded.

7pm... Immediately after dinner.
The trio were all seated on the couch in front of the large LED screen.
They all had their bowls of popcorn in hand as they watched with interest the starting of the movie.
While Joseph and Mira were seated close to each other on one couch. Nanny was seated on a different couch which was still close to them.
Soon, the movie began with Mira munching her popcorn continously.
Magnificent was a simple yet emotion filled film of how, A man betrayed his friend or should I say lover who was a little fairy.
On the quest to become the next king, he betrayed his friend by cutting off her beautiful and unique feathers while she was in a deep sleep instigated by the drug he added to her drink.
He ran away after that, leaving his girlfriend lying on the grass featherless.
The girl woke up later on, only to find out that her feathers were missing.
She cried out in agony realizing what had happened.
She began to regret ever trusting the guy. Who later betrayed her!
Due to the absence of her beautiful feathers, she couldn't fly and could only walk continously.... something she wasn't used to.
She lived a miserable life in the forest without her feathers while, the guy was crowned the king.
Years passed by and everyone including the new king had forgotten about the fairy.
They all thought he was dead, only the new king was aware of the truth as he had taken away only her feathers but not her life.
He had considered their friendship then and spared her life but took away her most priced treasure.
But wait, is there any use of living when a very vital part of one's existence is gone?
" Jose. " Mira suddenly called for the attention of her best friend who was right beside her.
" Uh? "
" Can I have your word that you wouldn't betray me for anything, whether it be for power or love?. Promise me that you won't. " She said.
" You do know that I won't do that. Right? "
" I do. But, I can't help it. The little fairy in the movie too wasn't expecting the betrayal she got. She had thought she had already found a home... Someone to care for her and love her unconditionally. But she was wrong as she ended up being betrayed in the end. "
" I know, Mira... And that's why I want you to be completely rest assured that I won't betray you... Never. "
" I will take your word for it then. "
" You don't even have feathers in the first place so how could I betray you? " He joked.
Mira glared dangerously at him making him keep his mouth shut.
Back to the movie they were viewing at the moment.
It was the first party of the little princess, and all the good fairies from all over the country were called up to bless the little child.
They all gave her good blessings.
And when, they had finished blessing her.
A voice was heard.
It was that of the featherless fairy.
Everyone present was shocked to see her including the king.
The fairy complained of not being invited to the ceremony.
Knowing just how much pain he must have caused her, the king pleaded with her not to cause ruckus, but she didn't listen.
Then she cursed the little girl with an irreversible curse.
The moment the curse was made, there was thunder and lightening...
No matter what the other little fairies did, they were unable go reverse it.
The king resorted to asking the fairies to take his daughter to a far away country where the fairy wouldn't find her.
But who was he kidding?
The fairy found out the location of the child from her bird.
She went there and eventually ended up taking care of the little princess and loving her.
At the end of the day, she was able to save the girl on the day the curse attacked her.
" Wow! The movie is totally amazing! " Mira exclaimed.
" It is. " Nanny replied.
" The fairy godmother isn't that bad though... She just did what ever other Human would have done if they were in her shoes. "
" I am sure some would have done worst. "
" Yeah... "
" So guys it's time for bed! " Nanny told the two as she urged them to stand up.
" Okay, nanny! "
" Goodnight, nanny! " Mira said as she went ahead to hug the older lady.
" Goodnight, love. Have a great night rest. " She replied smiling at her.
" I'll. "
" Goodnight, Nanny. " Joseph said as he also embraced her.
" Goodnight to you too, Joseph! "
" You two should go to bed now... " She said smiling.
" Alright, Nanny... " They replied before heading upstairs to her room.
They were about to part ways when, Mira suddenly began to feel scared of staying in her room alone.
She didn't want to have that awful nightmare of her parents being killed again....it was always too much for her to bear.
" Jose, can I stay with you in your room, please? " She requested.
" Um.... You can. " He replied after a moment of thought.
" You sure are the best! " Mira exclaimed happily.
" Whatever. " Joseph said rolling his eyes at her.
At the end of the day, the duo ended up sleeping next to each other on the same bed while they held hands.
Perhaps it's due to the company, she got.
Mira had a good night sleep... One which was devoid of those scary nightmares.
