My Best Dream of the Worst Love

...I stood there admiring his face. He grew out to be handsome. His jawline was impeccably defined, his dark brown hair cascading slightly over his forehead. His eyes, a captivating shade of gray, seemed to glimmer in the light. His height is probably a bit over 180 cm, and that fair complexion... .---. I always remember my dreams after I wake up, and every time they end up good, but this time around things changed. It was the worst dream I've ever had! It was a nightmare! My greatest love of mine rejected me! And it's gonna become true!... If it's gonna happen, then I'm gonna have to change it my way!! In my dreams I saw my hubby cheat on me with another woman, my best friend! This happened because of a trivial argument between me and him about a family trip! Perhaps, though he married me, his feeling might've always been for her! But that is a dream. Even if half- no- quarter of it came true, I'll change it! I'll avoid a fate where it involves him and me! This is the first dream I had about me and my lover, because usually I only see about other people, so its a must that I find my true lover and change this fate! Too bad I didn't get to see the rest of my dream because of my ALARM!...

Dates For A Confession

Just as Ayano had guessed, it was Ayumi who locked me and Jin in the room. How did we find out? She basically told us about it in a roundabout way.

She said, "Last week, you guys remember that Nanami Kun got an injury and I went to bring the first aid kit from the infirmary right? When I went to the nurse's office, I got an extra key from the nurse, so that I can return the first aid once we finished because she said she was running for some errands."

How did we get her to tell this? Ayano asked her about the time when she last went to the infirmary. She certainly sounded as if she was willing to answer our questions despite her chances of getting caught is 88.9% Why so low? We're not detectives who can dissolve information when we desire during interrogations.

We took a lot of time for our plans just to get Ayumi and Kimura together. Without us noticing, the day for Kimura's confession was getting closer.

I realized it when my sister mentioned about it. She said to me, "Its about time for your first confession."

At first this all seemed too sudden, but then I'd have gotten used to it. Until that day came...

It was during lunch, when it all begins...however, for Kimura's case, I guess he didn't want to feel embarrassed if he got rejected by me, hence, he called me to the lovers garden.

While at lunch on Friday, he kept a letter under my desk saying, 'Meet me at the lovers garden after school.' When Ayumi saw the letter, she and Haruhi gave each other some questionable glances and then looked at me with a disappointment. Luckily Jin wasn't around.

After school I hurried to meet Kimura because I cannot be late to Basketball prayice especially since Ayano became the support-assistant for our Vice president last week.

It's a weird role, but our VP insisted. Got the most of the time she gets absent, so Ayano is the replacement.

Ayano and Haruhi didn't come for my support. They said that I can do it alone since Kimura isn't bad news.

I ran two laps around the lovers garden and ultimately met Kimura sitting near at a bench in the middle-most part of the garden.

"Hey!" He greeted to me from the distance.

I sighed, and slowed my speed to catch my breath, "H-hey."

My heart is beating twice as fast than before. I feel anxious...

"You're a bit late." He smiled as I got closer.

"When you don't recieve the designation." I replied to his remark.

"Sorry about that. It didn't cross my mind." Kimura laughed it off as a joke. His laugh was awkward.

He must've run too. His face was sweating and he was breathing a bit fast.

"S-so what did you call me here for?" I stuttered.

"Ummm..." Kimura took a few steps closer. I could see his face more clearly; his bangs were falling over his eyes. He hasn't cut them yet. " I have something to ask you." He said, his eyes trying their best to avoid mine.

"What is it?" I already know the question, but this is a confession...

"Y-you see..." He paused. At last his eyes met mine.

At that moment I noticed something: his eyes aren't glowing like it did in my dreams. When he was with me, they had this beautiful glow in his eyes which now glows when he's with Ayumi. I have noticed that. Those shimmering eyes, crying 'interest' whenever they meet the other. It's already enough of proof to know that his heart belongs to Ayumi. Yet, he believes thag he likes me. I need to break that bond.

"I-I can't say it in class. That is why I called you here..." He took another pause, "Go on a date with me. I'll tell you then."

I stood quiet. I was getting ready for a confession, but I didn't expect a date for it. I felt as if the world had stopped moving. I could hear only the silence and smell my own sweat. There was also a mix of mint and strawberry among it. It seemed to come from behind Kimura. It was refreshing...

I peeked to see what was behind Kimura, he juped aside just as I'd lean. His gaze got intenser. I sighed and said, "Alright, I'll go on a date."

"Great!" He exclaimed instatntly.

"When and where?" I asked.

"I'll send you the details later!" He answered.

"How?"

Kimura pulled out his phone from his pockets and directed it towards my face, "With this!"

I also took my phone out from my bag and turned it on. We then exchanged our numbers.

"Sorry for taking your time and wasting it. I promise I will make up for it during the date!" He said as he rushed off with a wave. The weird part was, instead of running forward, he was running backwards. I guess he really must've been hiding something from me. Was it a flower for the confession?

. . .

As soon as we parted ways I left for my practices. Once we were over and Ayano and I got to the dressing room, Ayano questioned me.

"So? How did it go?" She asked while buttoning up her yellwo school shirt.

"He asked me out on a date." I said, putting on my coat.

"A date?! After confessing?" Ayano exclaimed.

"No! He said he has something to say and taht he'll say it when we are on our date!" I shouted.

The word 'date' attracted most of the girls' attention in the dressing room which was for all the girls from various sports clubs.

Ayano looked around and pulled me by my hand, "Come outside!" She said as she dashed outside, shutting the locker door hard.

"Wanna discuss it today at a cafe?" Ayano whispered meanwhile her eyes guarded the surroundings.

"Not today. I have some other work to do. " I replied.

"Alright! Then after the date!" Ayano exclaimed in a whisper.

She patted me on the back, ran inside to get her bag and then left me in her dust, proabably running to inform Haruhi about my situation.

The bigger problem is...why a date for a confession? I must go home and tell this to my sister.
