"Please leave the Xin Hotel immediately."

Lu Yuzhe and Xia Yiwei's expressions changed from surprise to confusion to anger, "What?!"

The manager did not have a good expression as he looked at the two of them and said sternly, "You two must be Xia Yiwei and Lu Yuzhe, right?"

He grinned softly, "I should also let you two know that the two of you have officially entered our hotel's blacklist. You two are also banned from the Xin Hotel from now on. . . forever."

Xia Yiwei and Lu Yuzhe's faces paled as they forgot to react in surprise. How can this be?! The Xin Hotel had a blacklist?!

"What?! We are VIP guests! You can't do this to us!" Lu Yuzhe exclaimed.

The manager continued to smile as he took a step forward, "I apologize, but I am only following orders from above."

His smile disappeared, "Please get out now."

"So rude-" Xia Yiwei exclaimed, wanting to argue with the manager, because she was not going to be humiliated in front of all her guests during her birthday like this!

Lu Yuzhe grabbed onto her hand and pushed her back, but he was frowning too, "Orders from above? What above? Tell your boss to come down and speak to us then! Do you know who I am? Have your boss come down! I want to speak to him!"

The manager merely smiled softly as he took a step back, "Our boss is very busy, so unfortunately, he doesn't have the time to speak to you, but just know that it was the owner of the Xin Hotel who ordered this, so I cannot disobey the orders. Now, please leave before we have to. . . escort you out."

"The owner? Who owns the Xin Hotel?" One of the guests from the back asked.

The manager lifted his chin up slightly as he said, "The Si family."

Then, he turned around and faced the group of security guards standing behind him, "I don't want to see anyone still on the balcony in five minutes."

"Yes, sir!" The group said and then, they rushed forward and two people grabbed onto Xia Yiwei and Lu Yuzhe, pulling them out.

"Let go of me!" Xia Yiwei shrieked, never looking so discomposed her entire life. How can the hotel treat her like this?! And it was her birthday!

However, she was more disturbed by something else at the moment.

The boss was from the Si family. . .

That man who had saved Xu Anyi, was he also from the Si family? What did Xu Anyi have to do with the Si family? What did the Si family have to do with all of this?

In ten minutes, the large crowd was standing on the streets in front of the Xin Hotel, all of them frustrated at being kicked out of the hotel. All of them belonged to rich and powerful families, and they have never been treated like this before in all of their lives.

"What happened?" Some of them complained.

"How can they treat their guests like this?! What did we do?"

Lu Yuzhe and Xia Yiwei were the most furious and embarrassed out of all of them, as they were the hosts of the party, and not only was the party ruined, they were they kicked out too and blacklisted from the best hotel in City A!

If news of this spread, it would be absolutely humiliating!

"Yiwei, what happened?" Yi Tingting asked, standing next to Xia Yiwei. She could tell that Xia Yiwei was fuming at the moment, but she did not know what to say either. Everything had happened so fast after the cake incident, and the rest of the night seemed like a blur.

"I don't know," Xia Yiwei said grimly, trying to maintain a calm expression.

"The Xin Hotel belongs to the Si family. . ." One of the guests commented and everyone turned to look at her, "If that man who had saved Xu Anyi earlier is really Si Mu, the President of the Si Corporation. . ."

The person shivered, "I'm so confused! What happened to the Xu family?"

Everyone fell silent as only two people here knew the answer to that question, but the next second, Lu Yuzhe stepped forward with a scarily cold expression, "It's late already. The party is over. Good night, everyone."

Then, he grabbed onto Xia Yiwei's hand and turned around, and the two of them walked away and entered the parking lot.

All the guests stood in the cold air, shocked at being left alone in front of the hotel, and the hosts had left first! What type of party is this?!

Inside the car, Xia Yiwei could not hide her anger anymore as she looked around for things to smash, but the car was too cramped for her to cause any destruction.

What did Xu Anyi have to do with Si Mu?! Was it just a coincidence?! It had to be! How would Xu Anyi, a murderer that just came out of prison, ever know someone like Si Mu?!

Lu Yuzhe was thinking the same things and he was also in a very bad mood as he started the car.

"Have you seen the President of the Si Corporation before?" Xia Yiwei asked him, trying to keep a calm expression.

Lu Yuzhe froze and thought about it for a few seconds, "I remember meeting him once a few years ago. . . But it was only a quick moment at a party."

Xia Yiwei's eyes lit up, "Was that man tonight him?!"

Lu Yuzhe's eyes narrowed as he tried to think back, and then he slowly shook his head, "I don't think so. . . I should recognize him if it were the same person. But that man didn't seem familiar."

Xia Yiwei let out a breath of relief upon hearing that, and she nodded her head, her mood lightening slightly, "Good, good. It must have just been a coincidence. That person must have seen wrong. Exactly! How can the young master of the Si family possibly be here and save Xu Anyi?!"

Xia Yiwei nodded her head as she looked out the window, feeling slightly better although she was still furious at her birthday being ruined.

Lu Yuzhe also was deep in thought as he began driving out of the parking lot, trying to remember the man at the party tonight.

He had only briefly seen the side and back of President Si at an evening party several years ago, and although he had to admit that the man tonight resembled the person he had seen at the party, he couldn't be sure because it was so long ago.

However, he chose to believe that they were not the same person.

He hoped that they were not the same person.
