The Ktinos race, descendants of the God Beasts who mated with humans once ruled the earth with their overwhelming power and strength. Lucien was born of an average god beast bloodline amongst the Ktinos race but even then he lived a comfortable life full of pride and adventure, with the dream to become powerful enough to serve the beast emperor but tragedy struck when the humans revolted, wiping out most of the beast men.
