Chapter 3

KIM'S POV

I stopped over at the CR after leaving Je and Well behind. Je was on silent mode after lunch, obviously in deep thought. That's the thing with him. He easily falls in love, but has a hard time moving on.

As I peed, I reflected on Jelo's preference. He admitted to us he was gay last year, when he fell in love with Joshua from Faculty of Computer Sciences. At first we thought he was joking, but then he started crying and sharing all those secrets that made us realize he's not bluffing. Back then, I was dismayed. He got looks. He may not be tall as Well and me, but what he lacks from his small stature, he makes up with the softness of his facial features and shy, unsure gestures. He may not be noticing it but he charms as many people as we do (but he would always think Well and I are the only head turners), maybe more if straight guys will be counted. I even had a cousin who asked for Je's number, and I'm positive he's straight up until he saw Je. If only other people would know, he may even gain suitors more handsome than Well and I.

"I'll wait for you outside!" I heard the girl shouted from a distance.

"All right, P'Dew!" a familiar voice answered.

I quickly washed my hands to look at who were talking. I caught Je's new crush Allen, together with the girl he was having lunch with. Now that I'm looking at her closely, she's really pretty. Petite, long hair, and with a slim body! But Allen's calling her sister. Hmmm… better check out what their relationship really is!

"Hi!" I said as I approach the beautiful lady

The girl turned around and just nodded then turned back to Allen's direction. Weird. This is the first time a girl ignored me. Usually, girls I would talk with be a little shy and tuck their hairs behind their ears.

"Uhmm... Hello." I waved a little, "Are you new here?"

"Yes. Why? Is this your territory?" he asked back at me

"Ah no. It's just that you're a new face in here. Are you a freshman?"

"No. I'm just transferring here." she answered dryly.

That made sense. She would have been one of my exes by now. "Ah okay. Would you like me to tour you at the uni?"

"No need. I'm going home anyway" she answered back without even looking at me.

Wow! This is the first time I got turned down by a girl on my offer. "You know, I should really tour you around so you can familiarize yourself and dont get lost in the future" and I put my hand on her shoulder.

She just looked over her shoulder before turning around at me, smiled a little and suddenly stamped at my foot.

"Ouch!" I moved my foot away from her heels, "What was that for?"

She yelled at me, "That's for invading my personal space" then quickly walked away.

Wow! She's totally the first girl to do these to me! I walked after her.

I could see from a distance that she sat behind Allen's bike and they started biking home, passing Je and Well who are sitting on a bench near the gate.

 JELO'S POV

"Friend! Looks like you don't have to go to the gymnasium anymore", Well told me, "That's your crush there, right?"

As I turned around, I saw Allen wearing his polo unbuttoned and necktie hanging loosely, riding his bike. He stopped for awhile near a building before the girl he was with during lunch came out of the CR.

Sometimes you'll gonna hate an answered wish. I really wanted to see Allen, but not during the time he was putting on his girlfriend's bike! They are, I envy. Well's eyes were set on them.

"Don't stop me from saying 'I told you so!'" Well said

"Shut up!" I answered

As they ride the bike to the gate, some of the students look at them and started giggling. I mean, who wont? Allen is handsome, and the girl is also beautiful. They are just too perfect for each other. He rang the bell in his bike as he passed us by. Just as they got out of the uni, Kim returned, gazing them speed away.

"What took you so long, bro?" Well asked

"I saw them earlier," Kim replied

"And...? Dont tell me you have a crush on our very bright freshman?" Well asked back sarcastically.

"No you moron!"

"Then what?"

"I think they're siblings," Kim replied, sitting next to Well, "And if my hunch is correct, I'll go get that babe for myself."

Well looked at me, "So your bestfriend will be a rival then eh?"

Kim slapped Well in the head, "No bro, I mean I'll get Allen's sister"

They're just sibling? Yes! "Really? How did you found out?" I asked quickly.

"Earlier when I was about to get my motorcycle, I heard your Allen calling the girl "Phi" That would be so polite for someone you're in a relationship with."

"Weh? Are you sure? By the way, where's your ride?"

Kim's eyebrows arched up, "Yeah, you're right! I totally forgot about that! Wait me up outside the gate." he said as he stood up and dashed off to the parking lot.

Later, Kim is back riding on his motorcycle, he gave the helmet to Well.

"How about you? Are you sure you can come home alone Je?" Kim asked me

"Yeah. You know we can still fit here," Well tells me while donning the helmet as he starts sitting behind Kim."

"Yep, I'm fine walking alone, and besides, Well is too giant for us to fit there. Last time, we all tried to ride your motorcycle, I fell off and my butt hurts like hell"

"Yes, and since then, I always park my ride at your home so we can come to school and bring you home safely."

Well tapped Kim's shoulder, "Hey! Hey! Dont forget that's how he got Josh! Hahaha!"

Kim hit Well hard on the helmet, "You really have a bad mouth, you know!"

"Haha sorry! Sorry!"

Kim looked at me, "Je, let'smake sure they're just siblings before we make a move, okay?"

I sighed a little, "Yeah! of course!"

Kim smiled and Well waved before driving away. As they turned to the corner, I started crossing the road. I walked in silence for a while when my mind started wandering off. I thought of what happened that day. I can't really get over Allen's handsomeness and cuteness my gosh! He looked like a dashing nice guy when his polo is buttoned-up but heck he looks more attractive when it's buttoned-down. And his smile is so damn cute!
