The End of the Line
Max looked at Lilith, still holding her father's limp body in her arms, and sighed.
"Move away," he approached Lilith, who acted like a cat, trying to stop him from touching her dad.
"H-Husband, you better not try anything!"
"Blahblah, I already know," the princess let go of the vampire king, and Max placed his body on his shoulder.
Both his left arm and leg still felt slightly numb because of [Blood Absorption], but it was slowly getting better, it truly was just a temporary debuff.
"Let's go back to the castle," Max looked back at the vampire princess and jumped from the roof he stood on to the crowded streets.
"He defeated the king…"
"We are doomed…"
"But wait, the princess is right next to him."
