Max completed his first task as the "strongest member of shadow wolves", and as expected, he was greatly rewarded for it (money).

He would need to spend the next 7 months doing the same thing if not more difficult, so this training would allow him to become much stronger than he already was, and gather experience he never could have imagined getting as an apprentice assassin.

After acquiring the artifact, he was allowed one week of break time, which he used to do whatever he wanted, but of course, it couldn't be this easy and it didn't last forever.

"Hey, Max, we have a new quest for you, this time it's actually an assassination one," Iris barged in one day and announced out of the blue while Max was reading a book.

"Come on," Iris was enthusiastic after seeing Max's achievements in his last mission, she knew that whatever she gave him, he would complete it and come back.
