The Return

After knocking the pair out, Vance did what he had planned to do. He disabled the teleportation device that was used to sneak soldiers near Fallen Star City. He then used Earth Magic to thoroughly tie up the pair. After doing so, he began to talk to himself.

"This took more time than I was expecting. But I guess I should always expect problems to come up. And a mysterious urge to not instantly delete every opponent. Whatever, job is done. Time to leave."

Saying this he began to teleport the three of them back to the Royal Castle.

In the castle, John and Lucy continued talking with their council. However, their discussion was interrupted by a sudden flash of light. Following the light's disappearance, in it's place was Vance and two people that the whole group found unfamiliar. Vance spoke up.

"Yo, I'm back. Did I miss anything?"

Seeing Vance, Hope, Jess, and Celine all quickly made their way over to him to hug him.

"We missed you Sir Vance."

"Indeed we did Vance."

"Welcome back Master."

Vance proceeded to hug and pet each of the girls and speak.

"Missed you girls too. But for now, we've got business to attend to."

Saying this, he turned towards the rest of the council, pointed at the two people he had tied up by his side, and began to speak.

"These two came through the teleporter I found. Seems like they were trying to scout out an opportunity to attack again. Honestly I don't know, but it kind of lines up. I plan on doing some interrogation. Later, I'll reopen the portal and see what's on the other side."

John spoke up.

"Vance, could you tell us more about what happened when you met these two?"

"Sure John."

Vance then began to talk about the events that occurred when he went to the Portal Room. About how the two said they were higher ups of the Rising Dragon Kingdom. About how they seemed to have a purpose, and how that purpose was likely to invade once more. He went over how strong they were. As he spoke, the surrounding advisors were shocked by what he said. John reacted strongly to him saying that they were higher ups of Rising Dragon Kingdom. Once Vance was finished telling his story, John sighed and spoke up.

"So it really is Rising Dragon Kingdom. We'll have to train our soldiers more intensely for the time being. Vance, I hate to ask you so much, but could you assist my Kingdom?"

"No problem. You are technically my father-in-law. Besides, these guys pissed me off anyway. I plan on paying a visit to the other side of the portal soon too. I just wanna check out what's over there. But before I do that, I'll have to deal with these two."

Hearing Vance's agreement to help, everyone in the room was relieved. Vance then grabbed the tied up pair and began to move them towards the dungeon. He planned on creating a special cell for the two so that they couldn't escape while he worked.
