Hospital visit
As I thought for a while, I concluded that I should be observant of Lia's food intake. Since she is usually busy with schoolwork and pressures herself a lot, she might have not thought about eating at all. And as much as I try to remind her all the time, it probably just slipped right off her.
I then shifted my attention to Adrian, who was now walking towards the elevator.

I walked into the hospital after having breakfast. Dad specifically told me to visit his an company officials daughter. How long do I have to do this? Until the day I depart from this world? Do I have to always please these irrelevant people? Damn it..
As I went towards the reception, I suddenly saw Mrs.Stuard, Lia's mom. Did something happen? Does Lia know about this?
I then greeted her as her face was washed with confusing plus a hint of worry. Something seems off. So I eventually asked.
Lia? Lia got hurt? And I didn't know?
"Is she okay? I'd be more than willing to look after her if ever you have other things to settle Mrs.Sutard" I replied to the sudden information I received.
"Oh no no, It's fine Rian. Besides, I shouldn't be keeping you her any longer, but feel free to call if ever" She said and smiled.
I now see where Lia got her beautiful smile...
Although I couldv'e used it as an excuse to escape this horror my father put me into. And I'm sure it wouldn't hurt my father's reputation if I'd rather put the girl that I love first right? I'm sure he wouldn't mind one bit. So Lia it is.

I asked the person in charge for her room as I quickly found the room where she was staying. Well, that wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.
I then knocked as I was greeted by her mom once again.
"Rian? I thought you had some visiting to do?" she instantly expressed as her eyes landed on mine. So I then explained. Well not the part that I purposefully neglected and disobeyed dads orders though..That's fine, some things just happens to be at the top of my priorities. And that priority is definitely her.
"It's all fine, Mrs.Stuard" I replied as I saw Lia sleeping peacefully behind her. Such a soft girl like her shouldn't be in here. What couldv'e happened Lia?
As I went closer beside her bed, I saw how fast asleep she was. I guess that helped my increasing worry. I then sat down and offered to stay and look after Lia. I may seem absurd but staying the night with her won't hurt anyone. Plus, I've got nothing to do.
And thankfully, her mom agreed to the offer.

As I left the hospital, my heart was at ease. Knowing that she was safe with Adrian and that he'd always look out for her. I know Lia has liked him ever since, and I can't help but smile at that thought. Aren't they suddenly growing up too fast?
I've noticed how they look at each other. Two people who tries to find love in each others eyes. Adrian is a good kid. He isn't the type to talk with no action included. And I'm thankful that he's staying by Lia's side and guiding her every step of the way. She truly needs someone like him.
I've been in that stage, falling in love, and finding my person which is now Lia's dad. And all I could say is that they should go for the love that's been lingering longer than i would ever know. As the right time arrives, I do hope they'll feel contented and find peace on whoever love may choose for the both of them. And maybe by then, that lingering love would finally be flourishing.

As I arrived home, I received a call from Rian's dad. All of a sudden?
"Good evening, Mr.Huxley. Is there any problem?". I immediately asked knowing he's a man who was constantly on the go. Which means he wouldn't just call for fun. So if he ever does, something's up.
"Sorry to disturb your evening, but by any chance, did you see Adrian today?". he replied with a voice full of worry. Well, as a parent, i feel him. Lucky him that me and his son actually did meet.
"Fortunately, we met at the hospital today. It seems that he was visiting someone earlier today" I said and a sigh of relief was all that was heard from the other end.
"Thank you and sorry for the sudden call Mrs.Stuard. I'll get to him soon" he replied and ended the call as i was left chuckling. I mean, he's got something to see for himself, and that surely is the offer that his son suddenly suggested. That's one thing to end my day, and I sure have a full day ahead of me, which will be full of Lia from now on.

As my assistant suddenly reported that Adrian wasn't able to come home, I immediately called his friends back in the day. Unfortunately, no luck with them. Then, I remembered Lia. Is he possibly with her?
I mean, it would be no surprise if he's hanging out with Lia. Given the fact that it has been years since they last saw each other. And I'm no idiot to not notice the secret looks and glances. These kids surely are growing up.
Although Adrian isn't the type to put himself in certain relationships, safe to say that the bottles have turned this time. And it's main and only reason would be Lia.
