The early morning Friday sunset peered through the white blind in the master's bedroom, putting me wide awake. I looked at the time and wasn't surprised about how late it was. Not getting enough sleep could do that to a person. I forgot to take the car to the car_wash the previous day and so I had to do the washing on my own and just in time to get to work. Girra prepared breakfast for the kids and was getting them ready for school as usual, as I went downstairs to wash the car.
'Hey Willy!' the high pitched voice was coming from my left, as I turned. It was Pee, the neighborhood talkative. He always found a way to meddle into other people's business, which I tried to avoid. I pretended not to hear at first, but this time, the pitch of his voice was more disturbing than the former.
