S1 Chapter 10

"Have you guys been waiting for long?" Kayden asked.

"It hasn't been long since we came," Emily replied.

"Oh come on, Emily. I thought we were going to have some fun. Why did you tell him?" Simon asked disappointedly.

"Simon, we shouldn't make fun of him. Isn't he our friend?" Emily replied.

Simon nodded in agreement.

Then they all headed to the PC café in the campus.

There the boys went ahead to play some games while Emily stayed behind to buy some snacks and drinks.

The boys switched on the PCs and started playing and waited for Emily to arrive with snacks and drinks.

But even after a long time she didn't arrive. So they both got worried and thus Kayden went out to find her.

There he found her covered by some boys who were forcing themselves on her.

She was getting frustrated.

But she couldn't do anything as they were all taller and probably stronger than her.

The gang of boys started pushing her behind towards the wall.

And hence she didn't have a chance to escape.

Kayden who was watching this got really angry.

Then boys were about to touch her when they suddenly felt electricity running between them and the girl.

And in a moment Kayden appeared in front of them.

"Come on, let's go, Emily," Kayden said as he held her hand.

They were about to leave when they were surrounded by the boys from earlier.

Their leader John came ahead and spoke, "Hey dude, are you trying to play hero? We are your seniors and thus have far superior strength compared to you. Listen to my advice. Leave the girl behind and run away from here and pretend that you haven't seen anything. Or else."

"Or else! Or else what?," Kayden asked.

"Or else you will die here," John shouted signalling his subordinates to attack.

The intense fight between two seniors and a newbie began.

Moments later, Emily was terrified by the scene.

The gang of boys was now lying on the ground.

Their faces were now bleeding.

Their whole body was now undergoing paralysis due to electric shock.

Kayden was now holding on to the head of John who was now bleeding thoroughly.

"Trash like you isn't supposed to exist in the world. You are only harming the peaceful citizens. You are nothing but a burden to this world. And now I will get rid of you," Kayden said as he was ready to finish them.

"Kayden, wait. Don't kill them. Let's hand them over to the police, ok?" Emily asked for him to let them go.

According to her, killing wasn't going to solve anything.

So it was probably best to hand them over to the police.

Her wish was thus respected by Kayden and they handed the whole gang to the academy police department.

The police were shocked when they came to know that a gang of seniors was beaten by a newbie kid.

The students in the gang were punished by suspension.

Kayden and Emily headed back to the PC café were Simon was waiting for them.

Then they played some games, had some food and had a bunch of fun.

Emily was once again glad that she had got such good friends.

At the end of the day they all returned back to the dormitories.

Kayden had been sweating from all the events. He had a refreshing bath and wore fresh clothes.

He had bought some dinner on his way back to the dormitory.

He was now drying his hair when he received a message.

It was a notice from school.

The notice contained the results of the entrance exams.

As expected he and his friends had passed the exam.

The notice also said that the allocation of the classrooms will be put up on a notice board in the Central Plaza, the next day.

They all went to bed peacefully.

The next morning they all woke up early in the morning.

They met at the ground floor and the headed out to the Central Plaza together.

The passing students had all gathered at the Central Plaza.

They were all waiting for the results to be put up on the digital notice board.

The crowd was indeed huge. There were a total of two hundred students who had passed.

The Hero Academy wasn't just for heroes.

There were also the engineers who created various devices used by the heroes.

There were also the strategists who planned the strategies during war times etc.

They, the two hundred passing students had selected different courses.

For example, Kayden had chosen the hero course.

They were all allocated to different classrooms.

But the three friends were somehow in the same class.

They were all very happy with the classroom allocations.

Their dorms were all changed according to their classes.

These dorms were different from the ones they lived in before.

Here, the boys and girls lived in the same dorm.

They three entered the dorm together and were welcomed by some unfamiliar faces.

They were the ones who were supposed to be their classmates and were going to live with them since then.

"Welcome, are you our classmates?" asked a cheery classmate.

"Yes, we are," Kayden replied.

"It's nice to meet you, I'm Shelly," she added.

"It's nice to meet you too. I'm Kayden. She is Emily and he is Simon," replied Kayden.

After that, a bunch of them gathered in the dorm.

After all had arrived, they began to introduce themselves.

And then after having a sumptuous dinner they all went to bed.

Kayden also went to his room.

The interior had been designed just like his room in his home.

Kayden had a quick bath and then went to bed.

As he fell asleep, his consciousness was once again pulled into a dream just like what had happened the previous day.

But today he was welcomed by a beautiful girl.

This was quite confusing for him.

This was surely the same dream as yesterday but what's with this new guide?
