Mutal Destruction

A group of scientists created a machine that could help the current state of humanity. They gave it to the world, in which the machine helped created things that they thought could help humans in their homes, jobs, the military, etc. For many years, things went smoothly. Something happened that seemed to change the machine. The machine and all what it created, turned on their creators... The 1st Machine War began. Humanity almost completely lost. From what was left of the Human Race, they were angry at the scientists who created the machine that caused the mutal destruction. The group of scientists got together to come up with something better than what they had before. They presented their project to the humans, but the humans thought it couldn't be done. The scientists went on with their project, but multiple experiments had to be done before they could prove it could work. They gathered up what they could for supplies, anything that could be useful. Their people began to think maybe it could be done. Many years passed, Humanity was slowly moving forward to survive... But they couldn't do it forever by themselves. Finally, the scientists were successful. The scientists brought nine humans back to life, but they didn't come back as the same people they were once before. The nine individuals were meant to be Humanity's last resort... And only. They choose "roles" for each, in which each of them will go on about their destiny in how their role is interpreted. Will Humanity finally be freed from they're doom or will they be ran into extinction?
