I turned six, and my day to day life had drastically changed.

Early in the morning I start my own training jogging around the village. And then start a Saitama training program. But not only a hundred, but I go for a thousand.

My muscles will start hurting, but I used Chantless Healing Magic on them so that I could keep going. Not only my body, but I could train Magic. Because of it I'm like a perpetual motion machine, endless endurance for muscle training.

This Unkown layer of Mana embracing my body had started to accumulate ever since. As expected, this is the kind of Mana that enhances physical abilities.

After that I trained Sylphy with Magic. I'm a drill sergeant and a Spartan instructor. The intense training made her cry multiple times, but she kept going.

In the afternoon I will train swordsmanship swinging the wooden sword. Honestly I couldn't understand the Techniques Dad is teaching me.

He wasn't a great teacher, so that doesn't help me. I could only grind the basics and swing until I feel my arms detaching off my shoulders.

And so I lived my life like that in a loop.

Honestly it was so exhausting I could puke my guts out, literally...

I asked many times 'why do I have to suffer? It would be better if I just give up.'

But after getting nightmares on how Mom nearly died by that Elder Treant. No matter how revolting or feel like dying, I forced myself to keep at it.

I don't wanna feel helpless again.

My skills, according to this world's standards, were as follows:

Swordsmanship

Sword God Style: Elementary

Water God Style: Elementary

Attack Magic

Fire: Advanced

Water: Saint

Wind: Advanced

Earth: Advanced

Healing Magic

Healing: Intermediate

Detoxification: Intermediate

Well there were other things like my original magic like Borg and wood magic. But I don't really know how to categorize them.

Borg isn't necessarily a Barrier Magic. Roxy told me Barriers needed Magic Formations to activate. There was never been a case where a person could use Barrier Magic without Magic Formations.

Well Attack and Healing Magic uses the Kinetic Energy of the Mana. And if I had to describe the Barrier Magic, it would be static.

To materialize and manipulate pure Mana as it is to your desired effects indirectly: Static

To recreate and transform Mana into a magical phenomenon directly: Kinetic

Based on the feeling of it, that's how I ended up my conclusion. I have the Data on my head from countless experiments, so you can say my claim is a reliable source.

I could publish a thesis for it, but too sadly I'm just a boy in the countryside. I'm not a student enrolled to a University, or a Professor.

As for Healing Magic...

Healing magic was divided into the same seven ranks as usual, and comprised four schools: Healing, Barrier, Detoxification, and Divine Strike. But these schools didn't come with cool-sounding titles like Fire Saint or Water Saint; you were simply called a Saint-tier Healing caster, or a Saint-tier Detoxification caster.

Healing magic, as the name implied, was used to heal injuries. Beginners would expend most of their effort simply to close up wounds, but it was said that people at the Imperial level could regrow lost limbs. But not even someone at the God level could bring a dead creature back to life.

Detoxifying magic helped to purge poisons and disease. At higher levels, one could create toxins, craft antidotes, and the like. Spells that dealt with abnormal status effects were all Saint-level or higher, and were apparently quite difficult.

Barrier magic included spells to increase one's defenses and create barriers. In simple terms, it was a form of support magic. I wasn't too clear on the details, but my understanding was that it included things like increasing your metabolism to heal minor wounds, or generating chemicals in the brain to numb you to pain. I could produce similar effects and multiple of them.

Spells in the Divine Strike school were apparently very effective at doing damage to ghost-type monsters and wicked demons, but such spells were the secret purview of human Priest Warriors. Not even the University of Magic taught this school. I haven't seen ghost in my life yet, and I didn't have enough knowledge to work on this.

Occasionally I also talked with Mom. I helped her in the garden whenever I decided to take a day off, and she looked very happy with it. Of course I'm also happy with it.

In fact I would have liked to stop all these training and spent my days getting spoiled by her. Children grew up fast so it's better to spoil them while you still can.

Well I'm speaking as if I'm a parent, but I belong to that 'children'.

"Make it smaller and more compact like this. Keep doing it until you mastered it."

There are multiple small Fireballs at the size of a stone with blue color floating around me. I manipulate them like the extension of my arms playing it around.

If touched directly it could incinerate anything and everything.

"Like this?"

Meanwhile Sylphy only had a single fireball in her hand.

I have already taught her how to cast Magic without incantations. And she's really skilled at it too.

Sylphy passed out from Mana Exhaustion. With that I had my own free time. It will take her an hour before she could recover her Mana even with my assistance.

Knowing that, I did my own sword training.

For a year now my skills in swordplay have increased a little bit. My swings had gotten swifter, sharper, and heavier.

My progress with it is very slow if you compare it with Magic. Still I could feel the layer of Mana embracing my body thickening bit by bit as time goes by.

Since I couldn't do much progress in Magic with insufficient knowledge. I just pour all my efforts in swordplay.
