Bad Influence

It was very dark where Cao Tang stood, his blade pointed at a dragon.

Zi Hao stood right beside him, holding his ground against the dragon as well.

It wasn't the cold that made them shiver like cowards. It was fear. The darkness did not allow them to see the dragon clearly; they could only sense its presence. Gleaming eyes and large, ferocious fangs - the stuff of nightmares for anyone.

"Err, Cao Tang, anytime now," said Zi Hao, getting impatient.

"What the hell do you expect me to do about it?" Cao Tang yelled.

"Well, you're enlightened, didn't you?" Zi Hao asked with a morbid face.

Enlightenment - the stuff of dreams, an epiphany, and a surge of power that comes from having reached the end of the path.

Enlightenment is essentially the fulfillment of one's dao. An enlightened individual is among the realm's strongest as soon as they attain it.
