CHAPTER NO 14

It's been a while since Théoden had lived in Beijing, China. He had been going to Beijing Technology and Business university to complete his BS.

Life had taken off to a different story.

For the first two weeks, Maria didn't wake up from her sleep but now she's doing just fine, not good just fine. When she was still in the hospital undergoing treatment she called Dara to access her with the notes, so she could reach up to the lectures. For a while, Dara bought her recorded lectures in the Hospital but then Estella started to go to the University in person.

Justin was still a danger for Estella but Théoden paid people to look after her. He didn't have to slay Justin to reach the real mastermind.

"Meet you at the party bro." He told his friend and sat beside lily in the driver seat.

"You good?" He asked her.

"Yeah." They drove to a shopping mall, Lilly had to buy a dress for the party.

"How do I look?" She walked out of the trial room.

But Théoden was in his deep thoughts that he didn't listen to her but when he lifted his head he saw Estella in that dress through Lilly and Estella are different.

"Estella!"

"What?"

"No, nothing. What were you saying?"

"Do I look decent?"

"Yeah."

"Are you alright?" Lilly asked him as they walked out of the mall and to the car.

"I'm alright, I promise."

"Ok, if you say."

The party was fun. High music echoed in the house. People danced on the dance floor some enjoyed themselves in the kitchen filling them in. Some were in the rooms satisfying themselves.

"Theo" Lilly called for him.

"Lilly you're my friend but promise me not to call me Theo again." He poured himself another glass of liquor.

" Cheers." They both clashed their glass.

"Why is Luis not here yet?" He walked to the dance floor with Lilly.

"I called him, he told me he'll be here in ten." She told him as they slowly danced. She was about to kiss him when he twisted his head aside.

"You can't." He warned her.

"Come on only one party," Dara asked Estella." Please."

"Dara, I'm not feeling well."

"You sure you don't want to go?"

"Yes. I'll be okay, I promise."

Estella was once again alone. She was sure that day she saw Théoden. It wasn't her dream. Dara told that Théoden had gone abroad to study.

Tears forming in her eyes when she saw her reflection in the mirror. Her bruise had turned a color yellow, black. Her scars had healed but had left mark on her skin.

"Mom, dad I wish you'd be here so that I could cry in your embrace." She talked to the mirror.

The door burst open and Estrella's brother rushed in.

"Sister." He hadn't visited her since the day then he had to leave in a hurry for a meeting. Not even when she was in the hospital.

"What?" She was sad that her only family was not there for her when she was on the verge of dying.

"I'm so so sorry."

"Brother just goes, I don't want to see you. You get that business of yours to the sky and also I don't need your money." Hot tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Don't you hear me just leave and never show me your face again?" She shouted. He shut the door and stood there for a while hearing her cry. "Mom I wish I could be with you. But I have revenge to take and give people justice and save them from people like that masked murderer.

After a year Théoden has returned to his homeland.

" The flight will land off in fifteen minutes." The air hostess spoke in the recover.

He drove to his mother's grave after leaving the airport.

"Mom, I'm back."

He turned around to see Estella kneeled to a grave that he assumed belonged to her mother.

"You haven't changed even a little bit, princess." He murmured to himself.

Estella got up and was to walk away when she saw Théoden. Staring right in his beautiful blue eyes.
