Reincarnation

Death.

An oddly comforting presence in $#%@'s well.. death. Can't remember his own name? Yeah that's a problem that $#%@ doesn't want to deal with right now. Hell, the only thing HE could remember was some information about himself and some non-personal related matters.

How does 'he' even know that 'he' was well.. a 'he'? Call it a gut instinct but it felt... right.

The world around him was constantly shifting, trying its best to not remain the same. Broad landscapes of valleys, plains, cities, the ocean.. hell he's pretty sure he was in a volcano at one point. Does he have any clue what is going on? Hell no.

So he just awaits for the end of the cycle of landscapes while taking in all of the surroundings peacefully.

After an unknown amount of time has passed, the soul finally arrived in a small office that was barren of life.

Or at least, it was until an androgynous mass of light shaped as a human with only the basic facial qualities. $#%@.. attempted, to speak but due to the lack of vocal cords ended up failing miserably.

The light-shaped humanoid looked at $#%@ with a unhidden amount of amusement as it summoned a roulette wheel beside it. As the roulette wheel was summoned a flurry of words ingrained itself into $#%@'s mind.

[I cannot speak to you directly as it would -probably- eradicate your soul. So, I'm going to give you the basic rundown of what's about to happen.

You died, you met me -Tom- and this roulette wheel here will decide your fate.

You got 4 spins, one for abilities, one for the world you'll be reincarnating to, and two for a little extra stuff.. for some added spice.. you'll most likely get nothing good but whatever. Isn't like you matter, your tiny mortal soul means nothing to me anyways.]

$#%@ realized something after reading the message.. Tom was an asshole. Not long after $#%@ thought this the light humanoid began spinning the wheel in quick succession.

$#%@ knew as soon as he read the 3rd line that he was going to have a bad time.

Tom was trying his hardest in the corner not to burst out laughing. Before $#%@ could wallow in self-despair, he felt another flurry of words appear in his mind.

[Well.. that was unexpected. At least you don't have most of your memories of when you were a man right?

PFFFT. Nah you're totally fucked. Anyways, BEGONE MORTAL!

$#%@ could only see a condescendingly smug smile from Tom as he was shot out from the room.

"Grrrr" A small fox growled slightly. The fox had blindingly white fur with blue slitted eyes. Running down the base of it's spine was a blue line of fur that ended at the tip of the fox's tail in a spiraling pattern.

This fox is, obviously, $#%@. 'FUCK YOU TOM!' $#%@ thought to herself while stamping her tiny paws against the ground.

[Integrating...]

An emotionless, mechanical voice echoed throughout her mind causing her angry growls to abruptly stop. 'Huh?' She thought before it connected, 'Is this the 'Multiverse Travel Tab'?' she thought.

[Energy Absorption (EX): The skill to consume and assimilate energy from your surroundings with your own. Can be used to replenish your mana whenever you are low or to adapt to new energies from different universes.]

'*Whistle* I guess I got lucky.. minus the whole gender-bended part..' $#%@ thought to herself. 'What should I use as a.. name?' She pondered while tapping her paw against the ground.

The now named Lilith smirked a little as she thought, 'Hmm, a little unoriginal but it works.'

A bubbly feeling erupted in her heart whenever she realized she finally named herself. Lilith's eyes closed slightly as she fell asleep under a pile of leaves.

'I'll figure my magic out tomorrow,' she thought lazily before drifting off.
