Chapter 2: Departure and Meeting

Timeskip 10 Years (Aizen POV):

These 10 years have been awesome. I've learned lots of stuff and gotten strong enough to protect myself. I've mastered Sky God Slayer magic that my mom Aura taught like a sponge except for the godforce which I have to master myself. I have a natural affinity with wind/sky magics so it was easier for me to learn it. I've also learned Re-equip magic to store different items. It really is useful magic for storing items while traveling.

My relationship with my adoptive mother is really good. We get along pretty good. She is a really cheerful woman that is fun to hang out with.

Aura taught me everything I need to know from magic to basic manners as well as etiquette. I also told her that I was a reincarnated person but she brushed it off like its nothing. She really is the best person you can have as your mother.

Today is our final day to be together. She needs to return to the realm of the gods to do her duty. I'm really sad to leave her but I know that she needs to go.

"Aizen don't be so depressed. It's not like I'm dying. You know I will always watch over you from above. You need to start your own adventure, so cheer up will you!" said Aura hugging me.

"I know mom. But, it is depressing to be separated. I'll really miss you." I said. It's really sad to leave your loved ones.

"Jeez... Stop sulking will you? Hmm... Alright, take his bracelet. It contains some of my divinity. When you miss me just remember that I'm always watching you through this bracelet." said Aura as she gave me a bracelet with an exotic design with a king's crown on top of it. "Thank you for everything you've done for me. I'll always remember you." I replied taking the bracelet. This bracelet will always help me remember my adoptive mother.

"Okay. Now, I'm going to get going. Live your life to the fullest. Remember to always listen to your heart my son." said Aura as she disappeared.

"Okay, mother. I'll live my life to the fullest. The adventure of Aizen Strom begins now." I said full of determination.

It's been a few days since Aura left Aizen. Since then, Aizen started traveling. He met many wild animals during his journey but he quickly dealt with them using his magic. After, traveling for so long he finally saw some sign of civilization.

While Aizen was approaching near the town, he met with an extremely short, elderly man. The Old man has black eyes and is growing bald with only the outer rims of his head containing white hair.

Aizen quickly identified him as Makarov Dreyar, one of his favorite fairy tail character and the guild master of the fairy tail guild.

"Hello Young One! You look new around here, If you need any help then you can ask me," said Makarov as he kindly looked at me.

'Makarov really is a kind old man.' thought Aizen as he approached Makarov.

"Hello! My name is Aizen Strom. I'm new here. Can you tell me what year is it? Also, can you tell me the town's name?" asked Aizen.

'First I need to gather information about this place and the timeline, then I can start planning for the future.' thought Aizen.

"Okay, Aizen. My name is Makarov Dreyar. It is the year x778 and this is Hargeon Town." Makarov replied.

'Hmm... I guess today is the year Mirajane joined the guild. I guess I have a lot of time before the canon starts.' thought Aizen.

"Thanks for the help, Mr. Makarov. I guess I'll search for a job in the meanwhile," said Aizen.

"Hmm... aren't you a mage young Aizen? Why don't you work in a guild?" asked Makarov as he can see Aizen having a large amount of ethernano/mana inside him.

"Yes, I'm a mage. I'll need to gather the necessary information about guilds before joining. I don't want to regret choosing a guild that doesn't suit me you know." said Aizen.

"Hmm... Yes, that's true. By the way, I'm also the guild master of Fairy Tail guild. You're always welcomed to join my guild and become our family." said Makarov trying to recruit a potential strong mage.

'Here comes my chance to join Fairy Tail.' thought Aizen.

"Sure. You look like a nice guy gramps. I hope you'll let me quit the guild if I ever feel uncomfortable there in the future." said Aizen.

"Sure. I hope that time will never come. Let's have our meal first then we can take the train to magnolia." said Makarov.

Timeskip: Inside the train

"Young Aizen, if you don't mind me asking, then can you tell me about your magic?" asked Makarov trying to know more about Aizen.

"My magic is a bit special. My main magic is Sky God Slayer magic taught to me by my mother Aura. I also use Re-equip magic for storing different items." replied Aizen.

"Sky God Slayer magic!!! That's a really good lost magic. Can you eat the air around you then?" asked Makarov curiously. As every slayer mage can eat their own element to recover their strength and grow stronger.

"Yeah... I can eat the air around me to gain strength. I can also use my magic to heal others as well as myself. It really is good magic." said Aizen. The most useful aspect of Sky God Slayer magic is to use a healing spell on themselves.

"Wow! Your magic is really helpful. Unlike certain slayer in our guild who only know to cause destruction." said Makarov remembering a certain pink-haired dragon slayer.

"You mean you have more slayers in your guild?" asked Aizen fully knowing the answer.

"Yes. We have a fire dragon slayer called Natsu Dragneel. He always causes destruction wherever he goes *sighs*. Also, he says that he was taught his magic by a real dragon but I don't really know about it. It's been more than 400 years since we've heard about dragons." said Makarov doubtfully.

'Can't really blame him. If I didn't read the fairy tail manga, then I'll also doubt that.' thought Aizen.

"Wow! then you've got a genuine dragon slayer gramps. Genuine dragon slayers can access Dragonforce while the fake ones can't. I bet Natsu will be a strong mage in the future." said Aizen trying to help Natsu a bit.

"Fake slayer??? Do you mean the ones that have dragon lacrima implanted in them?" asked Makarov.

"Yea those ones. Although they can use their dragon element, they will never be able to access dragon force. It is similar for other slayers as well." said Aizen. Every genuine slayer can access its own force. For dragon slayer, it is Dragonforce, for god slayer, it is Godforce and for devil slayer it is Devilforce.

"Other slayers??? You mean you also have access to those dragon force thingy??? Don't tell me you were raised by a real god." asked Makarov doubtfully. If a dragon is a legend, then gods are the myth. Nobody really knows whether they exist or not.

"Yes, I also have access to something called God Force. I'm still a beginner at using it though. And yes I was raised by the Sky Goddess Aura. She taught me everything about my magic." replied Aizen reminiscing about his past.

"Ahem! Let's talk more about your magic then," said Makarov trying to change the topic.

'I guess he doesn't believe me completely. I can't really blame him though. It's hard to believe that I was taught was a real goddess.' thought Aizen.

Then they started talking about different kinds of stuff until they reach their destination.
