( Yuto Pov )

I was in my workshop again. The dream I had earlier had made me feel... desperate?

I didn't know what that dream meant. Whether it was real or not, I decided to work harder.

And to spend more time with my Familia and Meteria.

And now I was hammering hit iron as I wanted to create a pair of gauntlets.

[ Blacksmithing Lvl 3 ]

With the help of Brok and some books as well I was able to improve in two weeks.

I was supposed to be on a break, but I couldn't sit still.

Felt like a rush of energy has come over me at this late time of night.

The feeling to do better.

I'm pretty sure the sounds aren't bothering anyone since I'm sure they drank themselves to sleep.

Maybe the elves could hear... but I considered this revenge for their hellish training.

I got a better furnace and anvil thanks to Broks brother as well as a better crafting table that held more tools and supplies.

* Clink!! *

For some reason, I could hear a certain sound the iron makes when I'm hammering it.

It's not the sound when the hammer and hot iron connect but the sound the iron makes on its own.

* Clank! *

It was like the metal was speaking to me where it wanted to be hit. It wanted my help to remove the impurities from itself.

* Clink! *

Even when the hammer felt more heavy to lift as time passed and I kept hitting the hot iron.

* Clink! *

It didn't feel right as I missed a few hits.

I put the iron back into the furnace to heat up again as I waited.

The air was being pushed in with my foot as I lowered my head in thought.

' I should probably make something that could improve the survival rate of my Familia... and probably other adventurers as well.'

A few minutes later, I grabbed the iron out of the furnace and started hammering away.

Once I felt it was enough, I started creating my Gauntlets.

Following the blueprint in my head, I managed to create the right hand.

I started to work on the second gauntlet.

An hour later, I managed to finish both gauntlets.

[ Left Gauntlet ] [ Common ]

[ Durability: 75/75 ]

[ Right Gauntlet ] [ Common ]

[ Durability: 75/75 ]

I immediately wore the gauntlets and tried them on.

But something felt off about them.

It was too stiff.

' Maybe I should get rid of the fingers but only keep the knuckles...'

I took off the gauntlets and started making changes.

' Feels a lot more flexible.' I thought as I rotated my wrist.

I started punching the air but froze when I heard the system.

[ Ding! Through repetitive action, you've unlocked a new skill ]

[ Boxing Lvl 1 ]

' Huh, I forgot to get this skill.' I thought before continuing to lunch the air.

Now, it was time to test it out in the dungeon, alone this time.

I immediately packed up for the dungeon and went inside.

It was nighttime, so there was nobody on the streets either sleeping or at the pub.

As I rushed through the dungeon floors, a frog with one eye tried to attack me with its tongue.

With Transparent View, I saw its tongue approach as I caught it with my left hand before pulling and cutting its body.

Picking up its crystal, I kept moving forward.

A war shadow, it's fingers sharp as blades with their arms, closing the distance was hard but manageable as I got cut on my arm.

The gauntlet took most of the damage but was scratched in the process.

It dropped a finger blade and a crystal as I picked it up and continued to kill more monsters.

Next were killer ants on the seventh floor.

I used a couple of throwing knives to cut their numbers down as well as moving in between them as I cut them down.

My swordmanship was getting more refiner by the minute.

I also felt a tingling sensation in my lungs when I swung my sword.

The throwing knives were better and more balanced as I threw a few of them.

For the rest of the night until the morning, I was in dungeon, killing monsters and completing quests.
