Chapter 24: The Evil genius

3rd person's pov:-

Nick brought the boss to the same safe house where he kept john.

He was already given medicines to stop his bleeding and was patched up with bandages. He was then tied up in the same room where john was being held.

When the boss saw john being strapped to the chair without any obvious injuries, he understood that john was the one who ratted them out.

"You mo**er fucking asshole, I knew you were a coward, I knew I shouldn't have trusted you from the beginning. The hideout leader was already pissed, because of his hideout getting destroyed and being captured by the famous vigilante called Hunter.

Now when he saw one of his trusted subordinate being held without any injuries, he understood that this coward had ratted them out without even putting up a fight, so he turned his anger towards him.

Nick who was behind them didn't say anything and stood in front of the tough looking guy and looked at him for a few seconds with a piercing gaze.

The boss also looked back without showing any fear in his eyes. He was also a powerful quirk user and his ability was lightning kicks. He can kick others in lightning speed and easily defeat them, that why he was an important guy in the organization. But he was shot in his legs before he could do any thing and become wasted. So he didn't show any fear in his eyes.

Nick just smirked at him and turned towards momo who was standing by his side and said, "Bring me the tool kit that I have placed in the next room".

Momo nodded and left to bring him what he asked. Nick turned his head towards the boss and said, "It's 1.30am and there is still a lot of time for me to get information from you. I really am gonna enjoy watching you scream", nick laughed devilishly.

The hair on the body of boss suddenly stood up after seeing the laugh of the guy infront him. His backs felt cold and he repeated in his mind to not break even if he faced a hellish treatment.

Momo returned back quicker with a box in her hand and gave it to nick. Nick received the box and opened it slowly. The boss and john were looking at the box intently while momo was also looking at the box curiously. Nick felt everyone's gazes and smiled mysteriously before taking a helmet from the box.

All three of the onlookers didn't know what was it. Weren't helmets used to protect head injuries, why is he taking it to torture someone,they thought. Momo couldn't stand the suspense, so she asked directly

"Hunter san, what is the use of this helmet", she asked. (Off course, she won't call him oniichan infront of the other people or else it might expose their identities)

"This is an interesting device Black cat chan ( Momo's alias), let me show you" nick said and turned the helmet to show its interior to the three of them.

All three of them gulped their saliva after seeing what was inside the helmet. The interior of the helmet was filled with hundreds of silver needles. They thought he is gonna fill the victim's skull with holes using this helmet. The boss's legs were already shaking. But he didn't show it outside.

"I know what you guys are thinking, but that's not what it is, You see these are not actually needles", nick said and pressed a button on the helmet and the needle looking things slowly moved down a little bit and split in to two, becoming a forceps. Then it closed and went back to their original position.

"You see punching holes in the skull looks terrible but it may cause death easily and the brain may also get injured. But these hundreds of tiny forceps will slowly pluck your hair from the root of your scalp causing a huge amount of pain. Now you may think this may be a bearable pain but that is where this comes from" he said and took an injection from the tool box.

"Anaesthesia are the drugs which relieve or prevents the body or any particular parts from feeling pain but this drug which I have found through some black markets are quiet the opposite. They enhances your pain senses to a maximum level. It will be so bad that you may feel pain just by getting exposed to a little force of wind. Now think when this helmet was used after being injected by this drug" nick smiled after his explanation

Momo was shocked by this kind of method and slowly took a step back to keep a distance from that drug. John who was on the side, thanked all his ancestors for his quick surrender or else he would have been the one to experience this kind of monstrous torture. The boss was already sweating and the young man with the mask infront him looked like a blood thirsty devil and he was seriously considering whether to surrender now

He was not some trained assassin who was subjected to hellish tortures and trainings from their childhood. He was just a normal criminal with powers, he now felt that his loyalty was nothing compared with this kind of torturing methods. He was sure that he will break during the torture and spell out everything. So it's better to tell everything now instead of going through all the pain and telling him what he wants.

When nick came closer with the syringe, the boss immediately oped his mouth, "I will tell everything you want please don't inject that thing on me" he shouted afraid of nick not hearing him properly.

Nick was taken back for a second and shouted, "What the hell.....are all those tough looking guys, not being scared of anything in the movies and novels were fake, why do you people always give up so quickly and easily, what about your loyalty and what about your fighting spirit" he said emotionally.

"Huh".... This was the reaction of all three of the people present other than nick.

Momo looked at her brother and slapped her forehead, "I think oniichan has seen too many movies, I should take away them first or else he would become a maniac in the future" she made a mental note.

Nick realized he had over reacted when he heard sarah laughing inside his head. 'Shit I have let my emotions out', he scolded himself inside his head and looked at the boss and sighed, "Here goes an other test subject", he shook his head and placed his devices and syringe inside his tool kit.

The boss let out a huge sign of relief after seeing him keep those things back inside the box and felt like he had just escaped from a devil's mouth.

He immediately told nick everything about the organization, "The organization's big boss was not a powerful quirk user, he was just a normal guy without a quirk, but he was an evil genius. His name was Genta. We can be considered friends when we were children, he was often bullied because of his quirklessness and he was injured often, I used to stand up for him and saved him sometimes. That's why he let me join his group.

My job is to kidnap children and hand them over to him. I don't know exactly what they do with them but I know that he is trying to create some drug that can make anyone to become a quirk users. For that he needed lately awakened kids. He believes that there is some kind of special hormones that induces the kids to awaken quirks even after many years of their optimal age. He is trying to produce that hormone through drugs and inject them to non quirk users to obtain quirks. And he was also funded by some other powerful guy, but I don't know who that was", he said.

Nick was really fascinated by his explanation. This kind of things never happened in the canon. "That's also correct, how can the lives of millions of people be shown with in a few episodes and they only show the lives of relevant people and off course, there will be many other evils other than the one's shown in the anime" he thought to himself

Nick then asked, "Where is this Genta guy right now and where is his lab located".

"His lab was located on the suburbs of musutafu but he was not in Japan right now. He went on an overseas trip to get some lab equipments and will be back in 3 days. I was supposed to deliver the kids today to his lab. He will call me to ask about the kids for sure if I didn't deliver them", He said.

After hearing that the genta was not in japan, nick reconsidered his plan to raid his lab. If he raid the lab now, then genta may hide and disappear forever. Nick doesn't want a criminal with such an intelligence to be in dark or else he may become a problem in the future. So he decided to wait till he returns and capture him. He then turned towards the boss and told him what to do now.
