Chapter 20: Sparring with Allmight
Nick and Allmight were facing each other looking straight in to each other's eyes waiting for the opponent to make a move. Either of them didn't show any weakness as they released their aura.
Even though nick's aura was slightly weaker than allmight he did't flinch while facing against the strongest man in this world.
Nick was confident in not losing against allmight with his water skills and speed but he was not sure of defeating him. Even though allmight was not in his peak form, still he was not called the strongest hero for no reason. He is crazy strong than any people can imagine, so nick didn't underestimate him and was planning a strategy to fight him.
They both didn't move for a few minutes and finally nick decided to make a move. He disappeared from his place using shunpo and appeared behind allmight while throwing a flying kick towards his head.
Allmight responded in the last second and tucked his head to avoid his kick and kicked back. Nick disappeared again and appeared a little distance from allmight. Nick was shocked that allmight reacted to his fastest attack while allmight was also startled at the speed of the attack.
Allmight never thought that nick could be this fast, if he hadn't used the battle perception that he had developed after years and years of fighting, he might be kicked down by nick. Now he also got serious after and stopped seeing nick as just a kid.
Nick shook his hand and five water swords appeared before him and he attacked allmight with them. Allmight didn't underestimate the attack power of these water swords because he remembered nick using this same attack to dissipate sludge villain in to fragments, so he dodged four of the swords but he still underestimated the speed of the swords and got a small cut on his left arm from the fifth sword.
Just by making a cut on Allmight, one could understand the sharpness of the water sword because allmight can't be hurt by any bullets or even missiles.
Nick didn't want to give allmight a chance to breathe, so he controlled the five swords back and attacked allmight from all directions. This time allmight guessed the speed of swords a little and dodged them but when he dodged all of them he was hit by the hydro pump attack emmited from nick's hand( like the hydro pump attack by blastoise)
Allmight didn't expect this sudden attack from nick and he was hit on his chest and stepped back a few steps. He was smiling happily, yep he was smiling, "Very well done, you have really impressed me little nick, now I m going to attack, be careful", he said and disappeared from his current step.
Nick also activated his observation haki to its full and tried to sense allmight's movement, and he did sense him to his side and bent his body to avoid his spinning kick and he used his elbow to punch allmight and Allmight suddenly caught his elbow .
Nick tried to take his hands back but he couldn't because of allmight's strength. Allmight smiled and punched his other hand towards nick's abdomen but when his fist hit nick's abdomen, his hands actually went past his abdomen. And the nick's hand which he was holding also slipped from him.
Nick actually melted in to water and moved a little distance away from allmight. Allmight was shocked once again with this kind of ability and found that nick was immune to physical attacks.
Nick also heaved a sigh of relief, he made a mistake by getting caught in the hands of allmight. But the good thing is he learned from his mistake and will not make this mistake again.
Allmight also came back from his shock within a second and attacked again and nick also dodged his attacks. As the time went on nick got used to allmight's fighting style and he started to dodge his attacks easily, he also counter attacked from time to time and he enjoyed this fight very much. He also learnt many new things from this spar.
Allmight was also getting to admire nick more and more as the fight went on, his decision to make him his successor also grew stronger. Even though he was not using his full power but he was fighting him seriously with his full speed but nick dodged each and every attacks of his and still had time to punch him back.
And what surprised him more was that, even after fighting for this long nick didn't even pant or sweat and this shows that he has a lot of stamina and he was not using his full powers to fight him.
Since the fight was a stalemate, allmight stopped his attacks and took a distance from nick and said," both of us know that this fight won't end quickly, so I will attack for one last time and if you can stop it, I will consider this as your win, okay".
Nick also felt the same and nodded his head.
Allmight took a deep breath and spread both of his hands, he knew nick was immune to physical attacks so he decided to attack differently.
He exhaled after taking his deep breath and clapped his hands together with a full forces facing nick. And when his hands slapped against each other, it formed a terrifying force of wind and flew towards nick at a terrifying speed.
Nick also shook his hands and a massive amount of water was emitted from his hands and they transformed in to a huge water dragon ( Tobirama senju's water dragon jutsu) and flew towards the wind storm created by allmight.
As the two forces collided, it created a mighty terrifying force and destroyed everything around them. Both nick and allmight was also pushed back a few steps by the shock waves emitted from the collision and the whole area was covered in dust.
After the dust got settled, the1000m around them became a barren land with all the trees and bushes being torn off or destroyed by the last attack.
Both nick and allmight were also standing there being shocked by the destruction caused by their attacks. This was the first time nick has used an attack of this level, although he didn't use his full power but he used more than half of his power in his last attack.
Allmight had returned back to his original form and he was panting and sweating from his last attack, when he saw nick was still standing without a sweat, he just muttered a single word," Monster".
Nick came close to allmight and asked if he was okay, with a slight concern. Allmight just smiled and said he was just a little tired for over exerting himself.
Nick then helped allmight by taking him to allmight's home. They laid in the couch tiredly.
Although nick was not physically tired because of his unlimited stamina but he was mentally tired a little because of continuous usage of his water manipulation.
They both talked about few things and nick finally asked about allmight's other successor.
"I actually forgot about that, I think you also knew him, he is that green haired kid named midoriya whom you saved from that sludge villain the other day" allmight said.
Nick also pretended like he was thinking for a second and said, "Oh, that guy, yeah I actually knew him, he was my classmate for 3 years but sensei, are you sure you wanted to choose him, as far as I know he used to get scared of everything and he is also not strong physically".
"I also knew that little nick, but strength can be improved but character can't be improved. He had a very good righteous character and that is what I am looking for in my successor", allmight replied.
Nick also knew this, so he didn't say anything else. Anyways it has nothing to with him so he didn't care about it. So he talked with him for few more minutes and left his house and went back to his home.
After he went home, momo immediately hopped near him and asked him if there was anything important with her puppy eyes and a cute smile. Because it was rare for him to leave the house early in the morning even without having breakfast. So she knew it was something important.
Nick patted her head and smiled back. He then told his conversation with allmight and his spar with him. He didn't have to hide these things from her. He usually tells her everything except about his system and his missions.
Momo was listening to his narration with stars in her eyes. She really admired nick so much and for her nick was the best in this world and after hearing his fight with allmight, her admiration has already crossed all limits. She pounced on him and started kissing him fiercely. This became a habit of her's.
Nick also kissed her back and loved her enthusiasm. When they were kissing passionately, they heard a little cough from their side. When they looked to their side, akari was standing there with her hands folded in front of her chest while looking at them with a playful smile.
Momo immediately parted away from nick and ram upstairs and nick just coughed a few fake. coughs and returned back to his room. They actually forgot that they were still in their living room and started kissed unknowingly.
Akari saw all these things and shook her head and returned back to do her works.
When nick came to his room, his mobile started to ring and when he saw the caller's name, his lips curved upwards unconsciously. He answered his phone and he heard a sweet voice from the other end....
