Greenwich is a town in south-east London, England, located in the historic county of Kent and the ceremonial county of Greater London.

It is located in the southeast of England's Greater London area, on the south bank of the River Thames.

The Greenwich Park is one of the Royal Parks of London that covers an area of 74 hectares.

In Greenwich Park, on a hill, there is a world famous, comprehensive observatory— Royal Greenwich Observatory. This is from where the prime meridian passes through.

This observatory has a history of hundreds of years.

Although the Royal Greenwich Observatory was moved away from Greenwich to Herstmonceux 50 years ago, the original site still remains.

Ordinary people think that this observatory was abandoned because it was too old and not functioning properly, but only people in the mysterious world know that the observatory was moved because of special reasons.

The Royal Greenwich Observatory was specially made to be used as the headquarters of the mage association, Greenwich Assembly.

But, this association was attacked to sieze this mana rich zone, so at last the 'Greenwich Assembly' had to flee in embarrassment.

Now, the original site is used as the headquarters by the comprehensive mage association in England, which is the Witenagemot, also known as the 'Council of Sages'.

The origin of the 'Council of Sages' is very complex. It was not established by some great personality or on great ideals.

This 'Council of Sages' was but established by a group of old friends who loved to gossip about the magical world, thus Witenagemot eventually became a mutual aid society where people share information with each other.

Who would have thought that such a small group that didn't even consisted of proper mages will eventually developed into the leader of magical side of United Kingdom.

Unlike other Mage Associations, the Witengemot is more of a research organization with a few wizards as members.

The composition of the Witenagemot is extremely complex, including Mages, Occultists, Fairy Doctors; and even Scientific Experts, Marketplace Researchers, Catholic Priests, Protestant Preachers, Monks, Artists, Capitalists, Nobles, Royalty and some Wealthy individuals.

Even now, the 'Council of Sage' is in no way a compact organization with strict discipline, but rather a loose circle of different people for the purpose of exchanging information among each other.

It also the best channel for people who have a great interest in magical world to step into this mysterious world.

Today, there is an emergency meeting being held at the Greenwich Observatory.

The 'Council of Sages' is called a council instead of a guild, because the managers of this organization are a council of elderly 'sages'.

They use the parliamentary system to decide the direction of the organization in the name of the ancient Greek philosopher Diogenes.

"An emergency meeting has been called today. Is there another Devil Lord who caused a major incident?"

Among the group of gray-haired old 'sages', there is a very special young woman sitting at equal position with them.

She is a beautiful young woman of European ancestry with long platinum blonde hair and green eyes.

The woman has a charming temperament flowing around her like the most precious perfume in the world.

Her facial expression was full of helplessness, but her eyes were shining full of curiosity and enthusiasm.

She is the former Chairman of the 'Council of Sages' of Greenwich, and now the special guest consultant, Alice Louise Ove Nafal, who has the moniker of the 'White Hime-Miko'. People always call her by the name of 'Princess Alice'.

Although Princess Alice is the youngest in the parliament, she is the most powerful Hime-Miko in all of Europe. She is also one of the few Hime-Miko who is also a Witch, with all their magical abilities.

Hime-Miko are women descended from divine ancestors, inheriting many of their spiritual powers and abilities. They try to grasp their own innate abilities instead of learning magic.

Divine Ancestors are former mother earth goddesses who have been either defeated by the King of the End, or sacrificed their power to him. They reincarnate in a human form with most of their Divine Power and Authorities lost.

As for the witches, they are one of the various groups of spellcasters in the 'Campione' world. They are described as mages with the disposition of Miko.

Witches are spellcasters who follow a unique form of magic, distinct from Daoist Arts and Hermetic Magic.

So they possess the magical talents of Miko, though in most cases not as powerful as those possessed by Hime-Miko.

Princess Alice forte is not in combat but in auxiliary abilities like Spirit Vision. In addition, she has a lot of talent and possesses great amount of knowledge. That's why she became the youngest Chairman in Witengemot's history.

She has been the chairman for four consecutive years! After that, perhaps the princess felt that being a Chairman didn't suit her, or she was really tired, so she resigned on the grounds of 'physical discomfiture'.

In fact this not untrue, because the Princess Louise is even weaker than ordinary people because of her strong spiritual power.
