Strange world

"Hey, wake up...wake up"

"Wake up!"

Will could hear someone calling out to him and slapping him so as to wake him up, "Stop slapping me" he said as he held his head which was suffering from an intense headache.

"Are you alright?" He heard a crying voice next to him and he turned towards the voice. He was surprised when he saw a four years old girl crying when she failed to wake him up.

Immediately he felt a splitting headache and series of information started flowing into his brain. 

From the information he acquired, he discovered that the crying girl in front of him right now was his little sister Elena. He also knew that his name was Williams and he was in another's person body in another world, in this world many of the fantasies he had read in his former world were filled here.

He was currently living with his sister, mother and father in an abandoned house, his father and mother were always nice and caring to him even though he was fourteen this year and he hadn't break through to the next realm in his cultivation.

Millions of years ago, rifts suddenly opened in different places which connected their world to other worlds and opened doors to many monsters which were threat to the human race. 

Human race was on the verge of extinction when they finally decided to set out and explore the worlds connected to theirs. Fortunately, their efforts wasn't wasted they found a huge metallic box which enables human to awaken their power and gain access to magic.

Mages were categorized into 7 stages,

Primary mage

Secondary mage 

High mage

Arch mage

Earth mage 

Heaven mage and

Divine mage.

As for Williams, he had been stuck in the primary mage since he awakened is lighting element.

When he had first awoken his lightning element, the school was delighted and many powerful mages came to congratulate his parents. All these was because the lightning element was one of the most dangerous and disastrous element ever known.

But all the rejoices ended abruptly when they discovered that although he had awakened one of the most powerful elements, he's Globe was too small to supply enough power so as to conjure the lightning element.

The Globe was formed when human were placed in the metallic box for element awakening, located at the lower abdominal region. It serves as a battery which powers the magic of a mage.

Williams currently was still in the low primary mage stage. Each stages were divided into three classes, early, mid and late respectively.

Since he had awakened his element, he had no talent in cultivating it whatsoever. Anytime he tries meditating he could only meditate for 30 mins before fainting. He was now one of the possible students to be eliminated in the upcoming test. Due to the numbers of untalented students plenitude than talented students, the school always host a test every two years so as to officially enroll the top 3000 students out of the 10000 who had awakened their ability. The test was only 3 months away.

"Yay! Brother, you are awake" Elena rejoiced and smiled sweetly as she saw her brother waking up. They were just coming from the market when his brother started complaining about him having a stomach ache. But he suddenly fainted some minutes ago and she failed to wake him up.

"Don't worry Elena, big brother is awake now" Williams patted her head and pinched her cheek gently.

He looked at his sister again and his distorted mind from his previous world couldn't help but calm down. 

She was wearing a rough and baggy clothes with a worn out sandals. Although her clothes were tattered, it still couldn't hide her cuteness. Her red hair was swirling in the wind with her black eyes. Even though her face was a little rough, she was still cute.

"Alright let's go home, mum and dad will get hungry soon" Williams packed the vegetables which had spilled on the floor when the real Williams died. To Elena, Williams only fainted but only he knew that the original owner of the body had died.

Carrying Elena on his back, he murmured, "Family. Maybe I can have it in this life"

Some minutes later, they got to a dirty environment littered with stinking wastes and some dead animals here and there. 

All the houses here were all made of woods and metal scraps, some who rich were living in a tent. Those living in the tent have the luxury to enjoy the town beauties overnight with only a bread. It was not rare to see people die here and there because of hunger so people do many disgusting deeds so as to survive.

Williams carried his sister on her back with the vegetables inside his small bag.   

In no time they got to a house built with scraps, although a little bit better than the rest it was still bad.

He saw his mother using a small stone to grind some peppers on a rock.

"Mom, we are back" Williams said before going into the backyard to drop the Vegetables.

"Will, where did you get that black ring" Athena, his mother pointed to the black ring on his hand.

Williams checked his hand with a puzzled face and saw a golden ring on his finger. "It's golden, how come she said it's black" Williams thought confused. He had no idea who gave it to him, if not for his mother noticing it he wouldn't have noticed it so soon.

"Hum, Lizzy gave it to me" He lied before going to drop the vegetables. After that, he went to lay Elena who had fallen asleep on his back. 

Seeing her sleeping face he couldn't fought the urge to kiss her on her forehead.

After kissing her, he went to the bathroom and have a nice warm bath. Looking at his handsome face on the mirror, he exclaimed, "Wow, this body is handsome"

He had red hair like his sister, with his sharp nose and blue eyes. "If only he was more stronger" he murmured.

His mother suddenly saw a handsome young boy coming out of her house in a somewhat descent clothes.

"Williams, where are you going again. And why are you wearing your best clothes?" She asked.

"I'm off to Elizabeth house"

"No wonder"

Although his current life was also filled with bad luck, apart from his family the only good thing that had happened to him was Elizabeth.

Her dad was not much rich but they could still afford the tent. Elizabeth was his childhood friends and yesterday he asked her to be his girlfriend. To which she replied yes!.

On getting to their blue tent, he was frozen without knowing what to do.

"Okay, calm down. Elizabeth and Williams had set today to be their first date so you just need to pretend to be the real the real Williams" he mustered up courage and shouted "Elizabeth! I'm here"

"Who is it?" He heard a woman's voice from inside of the tent.

Will was confused because the voice he heard didn't belong to anybody in Elizabeth's family, "I'm looking for Elizabeth" he still decided to ask.

"They moved"

"What!"
