Chapter 9- Fnf gameplay

Christmas wasn't really an exciting holiday as it was like a holiday for people with happy family(no offense but its just from my perspective) it was a holiday for families to reunite with each other and become happy.

And of course,  there are those people who didn't feel the joy of the christmas, its just like a usual day for them, it was already midnight 12 am, and many people are still awake.

They are the ones who are still celebrating christmas, there are some who works overtime or those who work at night, there are also those who cant sleep and was just passing their time so they can sleep and there are also people whose day and night have swapped.

Inside a house somewhere in tokyo, the room decorated properly and there is also a lot of stuff toys, those who see this room will immediately know this was a girls room just by looking at it.

Karen Tendo is a teenage girl of average height who has green eyes and long blonde hair.

Sitting in front of her computer, Karen was searching for new interesting games to play in the official play store, where new games comes once in a while.

Karen looked quite bored right now since she has tried a few new games already and they weren't exactly quite that fun.

"Is there anything interesting to play?"

She muttered before refreshing the new games page.

Then after the page refreshed, she saw 3 new games appeared.

"Wow look at that how convenient"

She then looked at these 3 games and the first 2 new games that appeared were simple games with no new content, she was quite disappointed seeing this as these games were just a knock off version of the popular game, Hirozima RPG.

She immediately lost interest after seeing it was just a reskin of this game so she immediately closed these two games and looked at the last game.

Frankly, she doesn't have that much expectation about it, but then when she saw the poster of the game which was a dwarf character wearing hat.

"A 2d game at this age?!"

Karen was very surprised to see a 2d game at this moment, it was known that ever since vr games came out, the number of 2d games being produced gradually reduced and soon turned extinct.

Most of the popular games these days were 3d, so seeing a 2d game made her feel nostalgic.

She still remembers she plays a lot of these 2d games when she was young and it was also one of the reasons why she loves game to this day.

She immediately opened the game and downloaded it without looking at the game description, she had this feeling that like as long as its a 2d game, it will be a good game.

The game wasn't that big and with the fast internet today, it only took a few seconds, Karen wondered what kind of game it was and how exciting will it be.

Immediately, she started the game and immediately, the first thing she saw is a recommendation to wear headphones for better gaming experience.

Karen heeded this and immediately inserted her headphone, after that, she continued the game, then what appeared next is the logo of the game which is the Friday Night Funkin'.

After that, it immediately entered the menu followed by a music, Karen couldn't help but listen to the music as she have never heard of it before.

She noticed that except for the beats and some piano soundling like singing, there was actually no singing.

Karen listened for a bit more before finally checking the game, the menu has a story mode, a free mode, store, gallery, and the quit.

The first Karen checked was the gallery. She wanted to see if there was anything  there but unfortunately it was empty and according to the guide.

The games she finished will appear here, Karen understood, it was something like a viewing mode for the levels she finished.

She then went back to menu and checked the store, there were character skins, effects, animation, here there is are skins for the main character along with a girk wearing pink dress.

Karen browsed for a while and found the clothes cute, she wanted to buy them immediately but when she saw the pricing were in coins, she was confused.because she have zero coins.

There is also no way to top up coins, according to the guide, you can only earn coins by completing levels in story mode or playing a game in free mode to earn a coins.

"A game with no top up? This is rare!"

Most of the game designs these days are aall about encouraging players to top up their money and go buy! buy! buy!

Making the players who loved the game gritt their teeth and buy the top up since its either there is something they want or because they can show it off.

As someone who loves cute things Karen is disappointed but also couldn't help but praise the creator for not adding top up function, she then checked the free mode.

In free mode, Karen could see the list of all the songs in the game, and there is easily about 50 of them, but unfortunately she needs coins to unlock a song.

"Well, might as well start playing"

Seeing the functions of the game, she immediately knew what the story mode does, so she immediately jumped into it.

The first that appeared is the tutorial, without complain, Karen started the tutorial.

Then the screen turned black and when it came back, the background has changed with the main character and a girl sitting on top of the speaker was seen.

Then words appeared on the screen.

[3! 2! 1! Go!]

The beat started and the guide how to play was being explained to Karen, the game is very simplr.

She just needs to hit the arrows when they hit the line, the closes it is in the line, the higher the points, it was just a simple tutotial and it didnt take long for Karen to learn as she is a gamer.

"Oh! Its a rhythm game! I love this kind of games! Ita also simple and easy to play!"

Karen loved these type of games because they are very rare.

The story then started, boyfriend and girlfriend decided to meet girlfriends parents and there they meet her dad, Daddy Dearest.

And to Karen's surprise for the plot, Girlfriends dad is a demon, Daddy Dearest hates Boyfriend for dating Girlfriend and wants him dead, Even though Daddy Dearest is an evil demon, Boyfriend is not afraid to face off against him in rap battles in order to be allowed to date his daughter.

And after that the rap battle started.

The tempo of the song started slow, seems like both sides were preparing for it, the Daddy Dearest raised his mic and started singing.

"Bo pee bo!"

Daddy Dearest voice is like an orchestra, high but comfortable to listen to, after Daddy Dearest finished singing, it was Boyfriends turn.

Karen is very confident on her turn because truthfully, it was very slow and easy to hit.

"Bo pee bo~"

Boyfriend voice was like a child but is very smooth and could contend with Daddy Dearest.

"The music is slow but I like to listen to it"

After finishing her turn Karen couldn't help but praise, she also liked the beats of the song and how harmonic it was, it didnt take long for theeasy to finish and Karen finished it without any mistakes!

Though there are some bad notes but it can be ignored, she then looked at her score and it was an S- not bad for a beginner!

Karen couldn't help but puff out her chest… they are sma- *ahem~

"So the song is called Bopeebo? Its fitting!"

Karen then pressrd the next level and easily passed it too but this time with a little difficulty.

"The sequence of the keys are getting closer with each other and very fast too, I need to take it serious now"

Karen prepared herself and played the next battle.

[3, 2 , 1, Go!]

…

4 tries later…

"I have finally finished it! Wahh!"

Karen celebrated her victory and couldn't help but cheer, the match wasn't very fast neither it was tricky, its just the sequence of the keys needed the eye and hand coordination, she doesn't play instruments so she didnt have that good of a coordination.

She then looked at the time and saw that she spent about 2 hours playing the game, which showed just how entertaining the game is.

Karen sighed and wanted to continue to play but she needs her beauty sleep, but before she left, she looked at fnf app picture before opening her phone and recommending this game to her gaming friends.

[Oh? A new game?]

[Is it good?]

Even though it was already deep midnight, there are still a lot of people who were awake.

[Its a new game and I really loved it, you guys should try it too!]

[Ooh! Sure I will try it! Every game you recommend is good]

[Already downloading it! I wonder how good it is?]

It immediately caught the attention of everyonce since Karen prestige is too high so she cant be ignored, Karen looked at their messages and could't help but talk with them a few more minhtes, Once she was satisfied, she closed her computer and went to sleep.

"..."

At this time, Cryd is already sleeping but then a floating panel appeared in front of him.
