" Sooo.... what are we looking for?" Roman raised an eyebrow as i turned towards him.

" A package that our dear boss wants us to find and retrieve." I replied as I paid for an apple from a fruit stand.

" Alright. I get that we're retrieving something. But the heck are you shopping!?" Roman shouted as I looked at him.

" Lunch idiot." I replied as I continued my shopping.

" we can't do a heist without eating. Besides, I'm sure you'll love my cooking." I chuckled as I handed Roman a basket.

" So stop being so impatient and go get me some stuff for the apple pie. You'll need to flour and baking powder." I spoke as I continued to check other apple and fruit stands.

I could feel the irritation radiating off of Roman as he left.

" Aren't you going to follow him?" I looked at Roman's comapanion, Neopolitan, or Neo for short.

She flipped a board with her writing on it.

But I want to play with the kitty.

She wrote as I saw her glancing at my cat ears.

I deadpanned before taking a step back.

My instincts wanted me to know that if I got too close, I'm sure she won't hesitate to stab me with that hidden knife of hers.

She wore an innocent smile as she continued to follow me around, and a few times, I had to stop her hand from reaching her blade.

" It's best we don't cause a commotion." I muttered as I looked into Neo's eyes.

I let go of her hands before continuing to shop for apples for the apple pie I'm going to bake.

" Well, that should be enough." I muttered.

' Now, where should I bake?' I thought to myself before hearing Iris.

< How about the bar?>

' The bar... I'm sure Jr wouldn't mind.' I smirked as I started walking towards Roman's location to see him pickpocketing a few people before coming towards us.

A few minutes later as I took out the pie from the oven.

" So... you just decided that you're going to cook here?" Jr spoke with annoyance as he glanced at the fresh baked pie.

" Uh huh, and as thanks, I'll give you a slice." I replied as I put the pie on the table.

He accepted the bribe.

A few hours later, we arrived at Atlas.

" It's cold!" Roman shouted as he tried to enter the train from the too.

" No shit! I said to bring a jacket! But no, yoi wanted to look fashionable!" I shouted back as shot at the aircraft hovering over us.

Neo was blocking bullets from the gaurd from the back of the trains roof.

" And why are you taking so damn long! Aren't you supposed to be a top teir Thief!" I shouted as I stopped shooting at the aircraft and walked to Roman.

" Fuck off!" Roman shouted as he finally opened the hatch.

" Get inside." I pulled Neo's collar as she let herself be carried as I followed them inside.

" Right, should be around here." I muttered ad I looked into a few crates.

" And? What are we looking for?" Roman asked as he rubbed his hands together.

I shrugged.

" I unno." I replied.

" The fuck you mean you don't know?" Roman replied.

" I don't know. But we'll know when we see it." I replied.

I looked to see Neo observing a robot.

" It's best you don't get too close. It'll activate on its own." I said causing Neo to step back.

' This should be it.' I thought as I looked at the thing in my hands.

[ EMP ]

" Ah..." I exclaimed as i felt a bit nostalgic.

I remembered a bomb that was created to short-circuit a city with an EMP bomb in my previous life. It was one of the most adrenaline rushing jobs.

" Oi! Check this out!" Roman caught my attention as he pulled the covers to reveal a large robot.

I quickly put the EMP in my inventory before walking towards it.

" Is this it?" Roman asked as he checked the robot.

Neo was also curious.

I saw a notebook on one of the crates and walked towards it.

" It's a mech. It's being transferred for further testing in another facility." I spoke as Roman entered the mech.

I sighed as I saw the lights turn off before hearing large footsteps.

" Well, get ready." I muttered as I grabbed Neo and jumped ontot he robots shoulder as Roman started moving.

I pulled out the notebook again and started instructing Roman on how to move.

" Turn on the three switched to your left and the on on top with a green light."

The robots limbs activated.

" Now, pull the lever on your right, and now you can move." I said as Roman started moving.

And as he started moving the robot began to crush the crates as he moved towards the door to the next train carriage.

" Ram through it!!" I shouted as Neo held me tightly.

The robot burt through the door, and the guards and AK-130's

" Get down!" I shouted at Neo as I covered her head with my arm.

But at the same time, the robot kneeled down.

" Not you dumbass, just ram through!" I shouted at Roman as the robot began to stand and rush out of the train carriage to another one.

The robot rams through the steel doors.

I looked to the side to hear an aircraft hovering above us.

I sighed as I knew thisnwould be more troublesome.

' Should've stayed home. But no. God's friends needed help.' I complained as I jumped off the robot.

I felt Neo tugging on my sleeve as I looked at her.

" I'll be back." I spoke gaining a nod from her as I opened the carriage door.

Snow flew into my face as I ignored it and looked at the aircraft.

I flipped myself up to the roof of the train as the aircraft flew next to the train.

Soldiers jumped out but they weren't regular soldiers but operators with unique weapons.

Two aura signatures and three regular.

I tilted my head to dodge a bullet but was flown back when the bullet exploded next to my face.

' My sunglasses...' I watched as my sunglasses flew off the train as I looked at the soldiers.

I felt the right side of my face healing from the itching sensation.

A point blank explosion to the face as the limit it seemed. But I should be careful in the future.

I should also keep reminding myself of those dust bullets as well.

" You made me lose my sunglasses assholes." I muttered, but I was sure they heard me from the way they tensed.

Their eyes showed confusion and fear as they witnessed my face being fully healed.

" Is it a semblance?" One of the muttered and the others wondered the same from their body language.

I dashed towards them and threw a smoke bomb covering them.

I jumped over the two people who had auras and went for the one with the sniper that shot my face.

I pulled a steel wire and pulled it around her neck, separating it.

In a second, the train moved them out of the smoke as they all started looking around until they looked behind them only to their friend on the ground with a missing head.

I ambushed the next one by striking from the side of the train by grabbing his leg plunging into his chin before throwing him off.

This caught the attention of the rest, and before they could act, I threw the head of the first person towards them as it exploded by using blood manipulation.

The skulls exploded into shards that killed the last one with no aura.

As for the two that had auras, they flew off the train as I heard their aura being shattered.

Whether they were alive or not, it's best to think that they were alive to be ready for any revenge in the future.

I looked up to see the aircraft about to fly away, but I threw a kunai to the aircraft and pulled myself up with the steel wire attached to it.

" Shit!" The pilot cursed as I pulled the gun over his head.

" Either I fuck up these window with your brains, or you jump off!" I shouted as the pilot quickly jumped off the aircraft.

" Smart. Fucking dumbass." I was still angry for losing my sunglasses.

I piloted the aircraft towards Roman and Neo as Roman barely managed the robot inside.

" Well... that was a horrible job." I spoke.

" Ahh, that was awesome." Roman smirked as he put on his hat ad he exited the robot.

" Uh huh." I grumbled.

" What's with the atitude?" Roman put his elbow on my head.

" Shut up." I replied as i slapped his arm off.
