Chapter 8 - My first meeting with the Gods?

After Aatrox walked through the door he could see eight thrones that build a semicircle. Each throne was build out of different thing the first throne was build out of swords, the second out of spears, the third out of axes, the forth out of fist weapons. The fith throne was out of pure flames. The sixth was out of ice, the seventh out of dirt and the eighth out of wind. And on each throne was the god that governs the element. After inspekting very throne and god once again he looked at the first god, Bahamut the God of Swords. Bahamut after seeing Aatrox looking at him said with a proud voice.

"Welcome mortal. We, the gods, have called you here to help us. Of course we won't make you help us without giving you anything. You will be given a gift from one of us. You can decide which god you want a gift from. But you will also need to help the god you want the gift from. But before you decide well will first introduce our selves. I am the god of swords, Bahamut, the first god. If you choose to get my gift then you will become a sword."

Then the second god said with a voice filled with disinterest.

"I am the god of spears, Spyd, the second god. My gift will be a spear."

"I am the god of axes, Hakilo, the third god. I would give you an axe"

Hakilo said after Spyd finished talking. After he finish his introduction with his deep voice he just looked at Aatrox and humpfed. After him the fourth god spoke up. With a load and angry voice.

"I am the god of fists, Pugnus, the fourth god. I will give you nothing but I will strengthen your fists to become as hard as steel as that is all a real man needs."

After Pugnus finished talking the fifth god looks at him and laughts.

"Hahaha what do you muscle brain even know. You can only punsh things and nothing more."

She then looks Aatrox and says with a voice filled with disgust. "Be thankful that I am telling you my name, mortal. I am the fifth goddess, Ifrit, the goddess of fire. I will give you control over fire so be thankful and accept my gift."

"Ifrit, I thought we said we would let that mortal decide which gift he wants to choose? Well anyways I am the sixth goddess, Shiva, the goddess of ice and water. Also it would be in your interest to ignore Ifrit. You should already have seen her temper. And if you want to get my gift then I will give you control over water or ice. You can decide which one you want."

The sixth goddess introduced herself to Aatrox. She has a completly emotionless voice and looks at Ifrit with a look as if she couldn't wait to kill her.

"You two should finally learn to tolerate each other. I always have to get you apart from each other. I am the seventh goddess, Gaia, the goddess of earth, mortal. Be greeted. I can give you control over earth."

Gaia said with a lazy voice. After she finish he introduction the last goddess, the eight goddess starts to introduce herself with a hectic voice while she completly ignores the little fight that Ifrit and Shiva have.

"I am the eight goddess, Anema, the goddess of wind. I will give you control over wind and now hurry up and chose a gift already. I still have things to do."

After hearing the introductions from all gods Aatrox starts to think again. At the beginning he wanted to take the gift from Bahamut and get a nice sword but now... now he starts to think about it again. All those gods look down on Aatrox and knows that himself and now he needs subject himself to one of them? Unacceptable. How could he the creator of this game be under any kind of god? So he decides to answer with the only option that is left. He will become a 'Forsaken One'...

"I don't want to follow any of you and I also don't need any gift from you but thank you very muc-"

Before he could even finish his sentence he saw something in front of him. He looked closer at it and sees that it is a sword. He then looked at Bahamut and saw that one of the nine swords behind him are missing.

'It seems like he shot a sword at me. But there is something weird...'

Yes there is definitely something weird here because Aatrox can see the sword in slow motion. It is slowly flying towards him. And because he doesn't want to get hit by the sword he tries to move away. But he then notes that he can only move extremly slowly. But it was still fast enough to move out of the way. After he dodged the sword Bahamut looked bewildered at him and says.

"Wow, you could dodge that? You really are a talent you mortal. A pity you don't want to become my believer but well... can't do anything about that. But now that we now that you have so much talent you need to killed even more. So how about you all help me real quick and we finish this."

Bahamut said while looking towards the other gods at the end. But while Bahamut talked Aatrox wasn't even listening because something that he hadn't progammed happened.

{As you are the first 'Forsaken One' to ever exist your ability to absorb gifts was strengthened. You can absorb any gift even while you are in batlle. You need to fight five minutes against the enemie who is the owner of the gift you want to absorb, before you can absorb a weapon in battle}

After getting that unexpected but welcomed bonus Aatrox immediately notices how op that ability is and what he need to do now.

'I need to survive five minutes against all gods no matter what.'

A/N: Next chapter Aatrox will try to survive for five minutes while figthing agaist all gods and as always if you have any other kind of ideas which I should implement in later stages of the game just write a comment and I will most likely use it. Also if you want the 'ICI' to be connected to a special anime, manga or something similar you can just write a comment and I'll probably implement it at some time.
