Zoldycks

Ren POV}

We parted from Leorio and Kurapika. Gene decided to tag along as we headed toward the Zoldyck estate which was in the Republic of Padokia. The journey took 3 days by airship.

The country was pretty scenic. Finally, after a few days of sightseeing, we reached Kukuroo Mountain, i.e., the Zoldyck estate. I had been using weights to train Gene for the past week. She had gotten significantly stronger. She was now almost able to open the gates of the Zoldyck estate. I asked Gene to wait for us and to practice opening the gate as things might get ugly.

After a bit of convincing, Gene stayed behind with the Gatekeepers and trained.

Holding hands, Kile, Freya and I made our way to the main house. "Would it be fine if you could have a look at my sister, Alluka. She seems to be possessed by this being named Nanika… She has been kept in solitary confinement since my parents found out about it…" said Kile. I squeeze her hand and say, "Sure thing," at which she just happily just pecks me on my cheek.

For some reason, I was actually getting nervous to meet Silva Zoldyck, Kile's father. This is probably how boyfriends feel when they first meet their girlfriend's parents. Noticing this, Kile laughs at me and just tries to loosen me up but in reality, she was the most nervous.

The first person we saw in the mansion was, Milluki, Kile's obese older brother. When he saw Kile, he got furious and pulled out a whip to lash at Kile but before he could do anything, Zeno Zoldyck, Kile's grandfather, stopped him. "Why did you stop me, grandpa! She stabbed me and hurt mom! She deserves to be punished!". 'You would have been killed even before the whip reached! If that happened, even I probably couldn't do anything. There's is just something about this kid' thought Zeno. Ignoring the pig, "Hello Kile, who might your friends be?" asked Zeno. "He is Ren, my boyfriend, and she is Freya, my best friend," said Kile proudly. Zeno was slightly surprised to see that Kile had made some friends and that one of them was even her boyfriend. He was fine with it but Silva(Kile's father) would probably freak out.

Kile- "Grandpa, is Father here?"

Zeno- "Yes, after all, he just finished a mission yesterday. He should be in his room."

"Thanks. I'll see you later!" says Kile as she starts walking towards Her father's room.

His room wasn't like any conventional room, In Fact, it was more like a dungeon than a room. We found silva just sitting on his bed waiting for us.

"Kile, who are these guests we have here. Could you introduce them?" says Silva in a serious tone. "Well sure, This is Ren, my boyfrie-" just as Kile was about to finish, a massive killing intent is directed towards me to which I just smile. Silva leaps at me with a punch. I black the punch and push him back. The bunch sends a shockwave shattering Silva's arm. Silva retreats immediately. He not being as experienced as his father wasn't able to see my strength until he attacked.

"Father what was that!!!" said Kile furious at her father. "So you are the Kid who beat Illumi. It all makes sense now. Are you an enhancer?" enquires Silva ignoring her daughter's outrage. "No, in fact, I don't really even use nen. What I used to beat Illumi and stop you was just my physical strength. In fact, my powers are more like that of Alluka's than they are to nen. Silva got serious again. Just as he was about to say something, Kile, furious due to being ignored yells, "Father I just came to tell you that I am taking Alluka with me and am leaving with Ren!". Saying that, she stormed out of the room and started walking towards Alluka's cell. I healed up Silva's arm as he was going to be my future father in Law. Freya and I walk away following Kile. Silva didn't try and stop us as he knew he couldn't even if he wanted to and what better man to be with his daughter than someone capable of even surpassing him at such a tender age. He was sure that Kile would return someday, bringing a valuable addition to the family, Ren. As for the matter with Alluka, he was sure that Ren would be able to protect Kile from any harm.
