Chapter 1: Why Here

Warmth, pressure, and a feeling as if he was in mortal danger. Yet Leon was unable to see or smell anything and the few sensations he got were all drowned out by the overwhelming urge to do... something and that's the last thought Leon would ever have... 

.... Just kidding, it was only the last thought he had as a sperm.... 

...ba-dump.....ba-dump....ba-dump...ba-dump....ba-dump.... 

'Huh? What's this, where am I... wait... this feeling of warmth and comfort, not needing to breath... is this really how that fucking god thought was the best way to introduce me to this world?' 

'Sighh, that's probably for the best though now that I think about it, I wonder just how ridiculous this world's people are that even my extreme wishes given were allowed with barely more than a nod of approval.' 

Just then Leon heard something from outside his new mother's womb that would show him a glimpse of the type of place he had entered. 

"Oh my!" A voice suddenly spoke, sounding to Leon as if it was coming from all around and even inside of him making him confused until he realized that this sound must be coming from his mother. 

"My little boy is so talented, to gather his self-awareness of the outside world at only 3 months into pregnancy is really talented, he might even be able to compete with the best of this new generation. Even though I heard that the Morales and Wilderths new young master's had already gained awareness a week after being conceived." 

At first, Leon thought that his new mom was talking about one of his older siblings, but as he continued to listen to her speak Leon realized that even though it sounded like she was speaking to another woman his mother was actually talking to him. 

The fact that his new mother could tell he had already gained consciousness really shocked him... for all of two seconds then he remembered just what type of world he was in... and promptly decided to ignore all the impossible things he was likely to hear. 

"My little prince, I can tell you are going to do amazing things, but you need to know that even with your exceptional spirit and possible inherited memories it won't be enough to compete with all the other little monsters by yourself" 

His new mother then began to do something. he couldn't really tell what at first until he began to feel a strange feeling surrounding him with a different kind of warmth than what he had felt upon waking in this temporary home. 

As it continued to rush around his infantile form, he began to feel a cool sensation start to appear and spread from his mind to the rest of his body. Everywhere the energy passed through his body it left behind a cool sensation that swiftly turned scalding hot, yet somehow no pain registered in his mind. 

Floating in that ethereal state for an unknown time, he only started coming back to his senses when the energy that was being fed into his body began flowing in a constant cycle that left the scalding and cool energy intermingling and neutralizing each other as it combined into something else that seemed to be of an even higher quality. 

At that moment, *Ding* a sound that every novel fan has imagined in some capacity was heard for the first time in Leon's very short life. 

'System Initializing.... System Booting.... Creating unique Hyperdimension.... Creating God Ego.... Little Lamb Protocol Initiated... Welcome Host to your personalized Achievement System.' Leon would have blinked and cursed that shameless creator if he didn't know that this was going to help get him on his feet in his new reality. 

'Still, what the hell is this guy thinking, anyone who hears some shit like Little Lamb Protocol would find that shit suspicious.' Deciding it wasn't worth it to try and understand a bunch of omniversal and above beings, especially after being given a leg up by these very people Leon decided to just ignore those words for now. 

'Anyway, now that the first wish of mine has appeared let's see how this will shake things up' Leon wondered how he was supposed to access his system for a moment. 

He knew what the novels he read mentioned should work, but this world also operated differently than any he had read about before and with everyone having their own systems he was worried that something might go wrong. 

Interrupting his thoughts, *Ding* 'Host has made 3 great achievements. For being the final winner in the race to be born you will receive a reward. For gaining consciousness before being born you will receive a reward. For experiencing your first session of cultivation you will receive a reward.' 

Leon was sure if he wasn't in his mother's stomach he would have been laughing maniacally. He wasn't sure about when exactly each one had been earned, however he didn't care about that and eagerly waited to see his rewards. 

'Calculating... Rewards are as follows, permanent halo effect "I Am Number One", Supreme Being Physique 1*, and Bloodline Ability Eyes of Divine Fall. Please stand by for rewards to be distributed, following which a menu can be mentally opened at any time to see current objectives and progress for Achievements. 

As Leon floated in his mother's womb only one thought went through his mind...'Holy Shit! I swear at this rate I really will become the only honored one.' Unknown to him, he had just set in motion one of the 'Entertainment Plotlines' that the great and infallible PrimalFire had preset to help 'push' our budding Universe Conqueror in the 'right' direction. 

Following the notification from the system Leon began to feel the formerly inert energy that appeared in his body after the hot and cold energy combined began to rush throughout his infantile body. 

The viscous feeling energy felt oddly numbing and Leon could feel himself falling asleep as his body continued to change under the impetus of the strange force. Right before he slipped into unconsciousness Leon only had one thought pop into his head, 'I really hope this new life doesn't turn into a bunch of bullshit' 

"He really is another little monster, to think he would awaken powers from 3 different universe bubbles and all of them already at the God level before even being born!" Leon's new mom exclaimed in pleasant surprise seeing that her youngest child had inherited so much talent from herself and her husband. 

"Lenora, I can see you've already begun feeding energy to our little nova" the now named Lenora turned to see her husband and the current Lord of the 'country' Leon found himself in. "Richard! My little prince is so talented!! He already has access to 3 different origins and gained his self-awareness." 

Upon hearing this, Richard blinked in surprise and his pitch-black eyes, like the empty universe undergoing a big bang, became aglow with a multicolor radiance that quickly condensed into a swirling pupil with which he looked deeply into his wife's womb to examine his new son. "He really will be a force to be reckoned with in the future. I can only hope he grows fast and strong enough to not become a chess piece in this new game." Richard's eyes stopped glowing, though his previously empty looking eyes now contained a star shaped diagram in the place of his pupils that periodically pulsed with a white light. 

Lenora rolled her eyes at her husband's attempt to act all melancholic, knowing that even if this whole multiversal reality were to be destroyed right this second nothing within this grade 20 world would be affected by anything more than a light breeze. 

That too, only if her husband allowed it, but knowing how he was after all these Epochs she resolved to focus on her little prince and ignore the old fool. Calling up her Grimoire, Lenora summoned one of her universe spirits that she had specifically cultivated for this single moment. 

Her Grimoire, by all standards, was an Omniversal level soul artifact that could take an entire universe and refine it into a special summoned being that could then become a companion or any number of things. It was no exaggeration to say that universes would be destroyed by the dozens just for a single page from her sentient Grimoire. 

"Lady Lenora, has the time already come for the young lord to receive the gift?" Her grimoire spirit, Julie knew exactly what she had refined to be given to the young lord at the right time to help him the most. 

But even she, as a being who had destroyed universes and erased enough timelines to have multiple Omniversal beings tremble in fear at her very mention did not feel it was wise to give this much unshaped specialized universe energy to an unborn child. 

Knowing it was pointless to try and change her mistress's mind, Julie resolved to keep a close watch on the unfolding situation and adjust as needed. After receiving a positive signal from her mistress, the grimoire flashed and what could only be described as a humanoid shaped universe appeared in the books place. 

Following her appearance, she pointed a single finger towards her mistress's stomach and watched the entire mass of energy disappear like a stone falling into a pond. Perplexed, Julie turned her attention up to her mistress face to see if that was supposed to happen. 

*Ding* 'An unknown energy source has been absorbed by the host... Analyzing.... Unknown Energy identified as specialized universe origin energy... Congratulations, host has made an achievement. For absorbing specialized universe origin energy for the first time a reward has been issued.' 

'Due to special circumstances the reward has been adjusted. Congratulations on receiving one soul bound beast. Please note that the strength of the beast will be restricted to the level of the host soul to prevent unwanted damage.' 

Leon felt something start to fill him with more energy while in his slumber until it suddenly disappeared, leaving him drifting back off without knowing just how important his mother's maniacal actions were going to be for his future. 

"I told you so Jules!" Lenora spoke with palpable excitement, even as she kept her voice quiet and movements minimal to prevent disturbing the miraculous process going on inside her. Her silver eyes sparkled as she investigated the countless branching possibilities of the future and smiled as she seemed to have accomplished her goal. 

"Honestly, as an Overgod of Fate yourself you should know that if I deemed something possible then no other outcome could possibly happen." Lenora lifted her head and laughed, feeling that the future her little prince would bring alongside the other monsters born to the other big families would be a super interesting time. 

Watching from a few feet away from his wife, Richard smiled while imagining all the chaos his and his friend's children would cause across the cosmos. A brief frown crossed his brow as he seemed to detect something, but after a second, he shrugged and continued to tease and play with his wife.
