-A2-
A2 was temporarily stunned at the unexpected reply, but after regaining her bearings, she scowled at the man claiming to be a human, who were basically gods to the android kind.
The audacity of this android…!
"You are sick to think that I'd fall for such an obvious lie?! To think there would be a day when an android claims to be a human! You're a disgrace to our kind!" A2 couldn't tolerate this farce any longer and wanted to get rid of this android, he's clearly insane!
The man in question however, didn't react much to her words, looking at her like she was in the wrong.
'No! There's no way he's a human!'
It's because humanity is extinct, and everyone knows that. There's no 'if' to that statement, no matter how bitter of a truth it may be to her mouth.
However, before she could take action, her pod suddenly started scanning the man in front of her.
[ Scanning designation 'Brunette'... ]
[ Muscle tissues detected… ]
[ Blood and veins detected… ]
A2 couldn't believe what she just heard and was gaping at the man in front of her.
[ Organs detected… ]
[ DNA matches… ]
[ Subject 'Brunette' is 99.98% HUMAN. ]
[ Glory to mankind! ]

'There was no way…it can't be…' A2 sucked cold air with her artificial lungs.
When she heard the truth about humanity's extinction, it filled her with dread, anger, grief and loss.
All this time they were fighting for a race that was long dead. Her struggles, her sacrifice and her pain was all for nothing.
No..it wasn't for nothing, because all of those experiences made her who she was today.
And exactly because of that, her life has meaning as she is a sentient being with her own individuality. That's why she continued living despite knowing that her creators are dead and eventually came to a conclusion that she would probably never meet her creators in this lifetime.
But what exactly is this..?
Wasn't humanity supposed to be extinct?
Weren't they all gone?
Or perhaps it was simply a miscalculation on their part?
There's no way she wouldn't believe her pod, as there's simply no reason for it to lie, especially when it comes to human life.
A2 didn't even realize that she was moving closer to the human in front of her, slowly reaching out to his chest to feel his heartbeat.
'This…'
No android could replicate something like this, and with this action. She couldn't deny it any longer that this person was indeed a human.
Without her realizing it, teardrops fell from her artificial eyes.
A2 could not describe the relief she felt at this moment.
It's like a missing puzzle that she didn't know existed before was finally complete.

-Alex-
I have no idea why this white haired android chick suddenly touched my chest and started crying in front of me.
Not that I mind, however there was an audience that was looking at us with interest, especially Himmel who gave us a sly smile.
He was definitely misunderstanding something, that's a very familiar look he has.
Either way, I'm inclined to ignore his looks as right now I wish to understand why this woman is acting like this and where she came from.
"Miss, are you done..? If so, I'd like to ask a few questions about you." I asked with a gentle smile.
Upon realizing what she just did, she became a bit flustered and quickly took a step back acting cool and aloof like what she did before didn't happen.
"A-ah, yes of course ask me anything you want, in exchange I want to ask some questions too, if you don't mind…sir."
"Sir..?"
She may have spoken about it as an afterthought but I feel that there's something significant about it, after all, she started as someone who was about to skewer us with her high-technology spear.
And when she found out that I'm a human, thanks to that little thing floating behind her, her attitude toward me completely shifted around. It's like she's talking to a different person rather than the one she tried to attack just now.
Anyway, it's time to ask some questions.
—
After a few minutes of asking her questions, there's only one thing I have to say.
"Your world is fucked."
To say that it was fucked was the understatement of the history, like how could anyone live like that?
Her world is basically in an apocalypse, not because of zombies or abominable creatures but because of machines.
And yes, I've almost learned that calling her a machine is a bad idea, despite being mechanical inside, androids and machines are completely separate races, or at least according to her they are, but personally to me they're all made out of the same materials just different creators.
(E/N- I mean, Strawberry milkshakes and chocolates milkshakes both have milk, must be the same drink)
(A/N- It's technically the same, but with different flavor.)
I also found out that her timeline is 9 thousand years ahead of mine.
My world could potentially become like this, however it's unlikely because there's ORT who would wipe us out in the next century and not because of some sort of disease that the humans of her world experienced which eventually caused extinction.
Did I mention that her earth is in a tidal lock? If the machines won't kill them then their planet would.
The easiest solution is for them to find another planet, as there's literally no point for them staying in that world.
Either way, there's another issue of humanity's extinction, which wasn't really that of a bad news to me. Considering there's an infinite amount of universe there, I'm pretty sure there's a lot of them that experienced extinction.
Anyway, it is no wonder she acted like I was another person when she realized I'm a human, because in the eyes of the android kind we humans might as well be gods.
They were basically programmed to worship us.
Which wasn't really incorrect considering the humans of the world built and created the androids.
Imagine a single human going into that world and every android finds out, there's no doubt they would be treated like a king, and possibly death by snu snu.
Honestly I'm tempted to try it myself, but it wasn't the right time, maybe next time.
Now that I've satisfied my curiosity, it's time for me to answer her question.
"I've satisfied my curiosity, now it's your turn to ask me questions, so what is it?"
—
-A2-
This was her chance to ask questions to a human of all people, there's no doubt that she's probably the only android that has managed to do this.
There's a lot of questions she wanted to ask from the human, like how he survived or, how many of their creators survived.
However, as she opened her mouth a different question was asked. "May I know your name…?"
The human blinked a couple times before smiling, making her feel something indescribable in her core.
A2 felt her internal system warm up a bit even though she didn't really do anything noteworthy, but she ignored it for now.
"Well to answer your question, my name is Alexander Barthomeloi, now that I think about it, I never asked for yours. What's your name?"
"A2."
"Isn't that your model type?"
"Yes, but it's the only name I know."
"I see, do you mind if I call you Anna instead? It feels wrong to call you by your model type."
A2 didn't really mind, in fact she felt happy…?
"O-Of course you can call me that."
"Great, now, Anna, ask me anything you like, asking my name doesn't count when I could have introduced myself either, that was quite unprofessional of me."
"No…it's fine, anyway are you sure about me asking anything?" A2 asked doubtfully.
"Well, within reason of course but I promise to answer with the best of my ability, now shoot!"
A2 panicked and quickly said. "I don't want to shoot you!"
He titled his head in confusion and then realized something. "Oh sorry, it's a slang for 'give me your best', it doesn't mean you should shoot me literally."
A2 couldn't help but think. 'Humans are weird.'
And then she started asking him questions that she desperately wanted an answer to.
Like how he survived, and why is he in this place with another human?
And the answer she was given was something she never could have imagined.
—
A2 didn't know where to begin with, the information that she obtained right now was downright world shattering.
Her mind felt like it was going to overheat due to her thinking about the implications of what she had just learned.
Because of what she learned, it was certain that her life would permanently change.
All of a sudden the machine problems suddenly become so insignificant compared to the grand scheme of things.
