[Chapter—6]

' Now how to make this look realistic?' I thought with a frown.

' I can't kill Kaplan yet as he's right infront of me and I'm sure I'd be suspected but Matt on the other hand?'

And so with a grin I focused on the horde of zombies under us and gave one zombie close to Matt a little boost and controlled its body using Telekinesis, I had it jump and grab Matt by his shirt and pull him down in the horde.

" Aaaaahhhhhh!!!!" His screams jogged everyone as they watched Matt get bitten and torn flesh for flesh.

" MATT!!" Alice shouted as I even saw her attempt to jump down only to be stopped by Spence and then Rain.

' Oh so you are good for something huh Spence?' I thought in amusement but on the outside I made sure to simulate a grin face.

" Alice....he's gone." I said as Matt's screams had toned down to nothing already with a little help of telekenisis I had dislocated his neck instantly killing him and making it so even by the slim chance that he mutates he won't be a threat unless some bullshit happens.

" We have to keep moving...." I said next with a grim voice making the Alice who looked torn at the sight of Matt getting eaten alive gather herself and started crawling away and luckily the zombies were focused on Matt's body for a moment and didn't follow us.

I continued directing them and even passed the point where Kaplan would have fell and gotten bitten.

We made it to our destination after climbing some ladders and then having rain forcefully throw off the cover leading to the upper floors we all got out.

" Finally!" Spence said smiling ear for ear not reading the mood and not caring for poor ol' Matt.

" Come on, I know a lab close to this sector where I can cook up a cure for Rain." I told them.

" Will it really work?" Rain asked looking at bit tired.

" There's only one way of knowing." I said before I grabbed her and started carrying her in a bridal position and walked over the lab that Spence had stolen and released the Virus.

And as I got there I put Rain down and pulled my gun and shot at the water earning a confused frown from rain and Alice who entered looking around seemingly recalling something.

It wasn't long before blood appeared on the watery floor of the flooded room before a body of the scientist that would have beaten Spence floated.

" Oh..." Rain said amused.

" Blue for the virus...Green for the anti-virus..." We heard Alice say making everyone look back at her.

" What?" Rain asked in confusion.

" There's already a cure made!" Alice said looking at rain before she bolted to the storage fridge where the virus and anti-virus used to be.

Jumping into the water she went to the storage facility and looked around but didn't find anything.

" It...It isn't here." Alice said as we had walked up to her, me just to keep the act but I realised that Spence didn't follow and instead took out a pistol.

" I don't...I don't understand!" Alice shouted slamming at the storage fridge.

" It's not hete but it should be!" She said coming towards us.

We all settled there in sikence all the while I watched Spence as he raised his gun towards Kaplan.

" That's because I took it." He said before pulling the trigger laying Kaplan down on the water dead.

" Kaplan!" Rain shouted before she tried raising her gun only for Spence to point his to her head.

" Ah ah ah! Don't do that, I don't want to waste bullets, I might need them." He said with a grin even when everyone looked at him, by everyone I mean Rain and Alice.

" And you macho man....drop the gun." He said pointing the gun at me finally.

Smiling at him I dropped it as he said, I wouldn't need it anyway to kill him but it wasn't time.

" You too dead girl...." He said pointing at Rain again making her comply.

" You...Why?" Alice asked sounding hurt and angry.

" Money my love....So much you wouldn't believe." He said looking a bit fanatic.

" All of this...for money?" Alice asked looking at Spence as if he were an idiot." Is this how you thought my dreams would come true?" She asked looking at him anger apparent in her eyes.

" We can still make it out of here...you and i." He said not answering her question." We can live our lives out there with freedom with everything we have ever wanted...just come with me."

" I won't take any part in this...." Alice said walking back making Spence frown.

" Don't act holy....you and I worked for the same company and you knew what type of experiments they conducted...." He said angrily.

" I was trying to stop them." Alice said and I didn't miss how her eyes looked at me in the corner of her eye when she said that.

' Ah, is my background coming to bite me in the anus?' I thought with a sigh continuing to watch this lovers quarrel.

" *Chuckle* Did you really believe that you and that idiot Matt would've changed anything?...you think your word would've meant anything to those with power?" He asked genuinely amused." Nothing....ever changes my love."

" Where....where is the Cure?" Rain finally managed to ask looking paler and paler.

" It's on the train." Spence answered her like the villain he was idiotically spilling his secrets or upper hands." Where you found me...it was right next to you all and you didn't notice...." he said looking at his watch and smiling.

" It looks like we are running out of time..." He said as he started moving around us making his way for the door still with the gun pointed at us before he made it to the door and looked at Alice.

" I'm missing you already." He said with a smile before he closed the door and closed it locking us inside.

" Well....that was something." I finally spoke with a sigh before walking over to look over the equipment and frowned seeing them all fried.

" So can you make a cure?" Alice asked seeing me looking over the items.

" With this?...no way in hell." I said to her making her frown and Rain just slumped before chuckling to herself.

" Oh well...I guess I'll join the rest of my team then, dead." She said dark humour and a bit of pain apparent.

" Or we could catch up with the idiot and grab the cures before he leaves...I can create a much more effective cure with the original." I said saying the first shit on my mind as if I wanted I could cure her right now but the method of used without any smokescreen would be questionable.

" Oh yeah? And how are we supposed to catch up when we're locked in here?" Rain said with a chuckle making me shake my head before I walked over to the door and grabbed my bag right next to it and then took out some chemicals and mixed a free before I splashed them on the locked door handle watching it corrode and melt away leaving a hole in there.

Giving the door a slight push it opened without trouble.

" Like that." I said looking back at the two impressed ladies looking at me.

" Am I glad you're with us." Rain said with a chuckle as Alice helped her up and we started making our way to the exit of this facility.

' And am I glad to be here.' I thought with a grin helping Alice out by carrying Rain.

' Time to finish this finally.' I thought with a grin before we started sprinting off.
