Team Up?

'A conversation?' Sol pondered. 'What's she scheming?'

In the comics, Black Cat could be said to be a villain but on some occasions she was sometimes an anti hero, even having intimate relations with spidey. She was quite a complex character that was very hard to read and was unpredictable.

Considering his current world seems like an alternate universe, he didn't know whether he should trust her or not. And considering she was using her 'Black Cat' persona, she was likely also a skilled thief in this life.

Sure she was beautiful, but Sol wasn't someone that judges people based on outward appearances. For all he knew, she could be working for a criminal organisation and was getting information on him.

However, since she didn't seem to hold any malicious intent against him currently, he'll entertain her a little.

"A conversation? Sure, I have enough free time." Sol responded.

Felicia chuckled, a playful glint still in her eyes. "Good. You've piqued my curiosity, Spider, and I'm rarely wrong about first impressions."

"Uh, okay?" Sol raised an eyebrow. "And what kind of impression am I giving off?"

She smiled, her expression like a sly fox. "Mmm, let me think... someone new, but already stirring up trouble in all the right places… Just my type." Her voice was a little seductive.

Sol casually replied. "Glad to know I'm checking all of your boxes, but you seem like the type of person that isn't here for just a 'talk.' So... what is it?"

Felicia's smirk widened. "Oh, you'll see. But you'll have to keep up if you want to know~ "

"Huh?" Sol was left a little perplexed.

And before he could even question her, she was off, her movements so quick and fluid it was like she dissolved into the shadows.

Sol blinked, taken aback, but he quickly went after her, shooting a web to a nearby building as he swung after her.

He followed her for around 20 minutes.

As he chased after her, he was even more surprised by her skills. 'This level of acrobatics is almost inhuman, what the hell...'

He could tell she had trained like crazy to reach this level of proficiency. The way she can move silently and get to high places with ease. It was ridiculous.

Sol had eventually caught up to her, just in time to see her stop at the roof of a building.

He swung onto the roof, landing silently behind her. She currently had her eyes locked onto a building.

Felicia then glanced back at him, amused. "Nice to see you kept up, Spider."

Sol's eyes narrowed slightly, focusing his eyes onto the building she was looking down at.

He noticed some men on the roof. Armed.

The entire place was heavily guarded. He felt a hint of shock. "We're… having a conversation near a criminal base?" he deadpanned.

Felicia laughed, her voice soft and mischievous. "Why not? Adds a little thrill, doesn't it? Besides." She gestured to the building, "This place is crawling with people who work for Tombstone. Thought you might be interested."

Sol stared at her. "This is a Tombstone operation?"

"Mmhmm," she replied, her tone casual. "You've been looking for information on him right? Well, here's a little gift from me~ This place holds some good info on his dealings."

Sol's expression flattened. "Leading me here, this isn't exactly a conversation then... You want to infiltrate this base today?"

Felicia's smirk already let Sol knew what she was about to say.

"What can I say? I like to multitask." She crossed her arms, taking a seat on a structure on the roof. "How about we work together, Spider? I've got my own reasons for wanting to mess with Tombstone. And you — well, you're the kind of hero that wouldn't let something like this go, would you?"

Sol blinked, caught off guard by how much she seemed to already know about him. "So, let me guess… I take out all the guys inside, and you grab something shiny while I do the hard work?"

Felicia showed a hint of surprise before she laughed lightly. "What a good intuition. How'd you know I like shiny things?"

Sol ignored her as she pouted slightly, continuing. "It's exactly like that, but you shouldn't think of it that way. Think of it as us both getting what we want. I get what I'm after and you get to clean New York up from these dangerous and horrible men~ " She spoke playfully. "It's a win win for both of us... don't you think?"

Sol went silent, still not fully trusting her. He then said. "And you just expect me to believe you?"

She had an amused expression from his comment as she stood up and walked over to Sol. They were inches away from eachother as she suddenly traced her fingers against his chest. Sol tried to remain cool-headed, suppressing his teenage hormones as she leaned in and whispered. "I'm many things, Spider... but trustworthy? That's not one of them..."

Her eyes then suddenly glinted with something darker as she pulled back just enough to meet his gaze. The playful light in her expression shifted, turning cold, even ominous. "However, I can assure you one thing. Tombstone and I are not on good terms... And I want him gone. Permanently."

Sol was taken aback from her words. He could feel her deep hate and resentment for Tombstone. It was a pure emotion that was extremely hard to fake.

Sol knew she was unpredictable, but Felicia didn't seem to be lying about her grudge at this moment. If she had intel, maybe working with her wasn't the worst idea.

After a few seconds, Sol let out a small sigh. "Alright, fine. But if you're planning anything shady, I'm not letting it slide."

She replied with a smile, walking to the edge of the building. "I knew you'd like my offer." However, she pouted and continued, "Though... I still feel offended~ You don't really think I'm that kind of girl do you?"

'I definitely think you are,' Sol thought, but instead, he said, "Well, you just seem like the type who thrives in trouble."

Felicia curved her lips. "You think I'm trouble?"

"Just a little."

She chuckled before turning around.

As he saw her back, Sol's eyes couldn't help but be drawn to her figure, her black attire that hugged her curves putting her 'assets' in full display had caught his attention. He couldn't help but mutter, "It's more accurate to call you a distraction..."

"D- Did you say something?" Felicia suddenly turned around and spoke.

Sol realised his mistake as he quickly responded. "Nope, none at all."

"I- I see." She mumbled before quickly jumping and using her acrobatics to get down the building.

However, as Sol observed her disappearing figure, he noticed how her ears had a tinge of pink.

Sol rubbed his temples.

'Great. She definitely heard that. But still. I somehow made Black Cat flustered? That's an achievement I guess.'

Black Cat loved to tease Spidey in the comics, and she was also quite resistant to being flustered.

Sol guessed she got flustered as she was likely around the same age as him. So, although she's still has her mischievous side and likes to tease, she wasn't immune to being teased back due to her inexperience. Sol couldn't help but smirk slightly before he shot a web at the building.

He had more people to beat up. His cleaning duties as Spider-Man is going to take a while. But maybe with the help of Black Cat, it would be a lot faster.
