Radahn's Measure

[Sosuke Aizen]

I'm ecstatic. I can scarcely believe it. I stand before a true demigod, if what Kale says is true that is. Radahn, a general, he said? A conqueror of the stars themselves? Interesting. He holds his power as openly and carelessly as one might hold a book, yet I, I hold mine close, veiled behind a smile and a gentle word. For now.

I can feel the sheer weight of his soul. I'll admit, we may be out of our league. The current me, that is. The only reason I agreed to do this was Kale. A merchant wouldn't throw customers to death, and his wording was very specific. Challenge, he said. There are many ways to interpret the word challenge, but I believe that Kale will step in should we be defeated. Besides, this is a perfect chance to see if Kyoka Suigetsu will work on ones with divine lineage.

He just stands there, most likely giving us a chance to prepare. Kale spoke quite highly of him, he clearly respects Radahn a lot. A strange name, but perhaps not for this place. A Great Caravan, I'll have to study this place extensively. At some point ill also put Kale under my illusion and take his bag. But only after observing him carefully, of course.

In his stature, I see echoes of Kenpachi Zaraki's wild, untamed strength. But where Zaraki is raw, unrefined fury, this Radahn is a titan with the poise of a commander. His form, clad in armor that seems to defy the very principles of grace, speaks of a warrior's singular dedication to the art of war. The scars and the heft of his weapon are testaments to countless battles—a life spent in the throes of conflict and conquest. As expected of a general I suppose.

His red hair is wild, and quite unkempt. Dear lord, how does that horse hold him? No. he's slightly floating above his horse, but there's no reiatsu fluctuation, a different energy form? I do sense something, but it's definitely not reiatsu. Ill study it later. Ah, the old man seems to be ready. I'm sure he can sense it to, the sheer power radiating off the giant. I wonder if he will use his bankai immediately? Well, let's find out how effective Kyoka Suigetsu is against a demigod!

"Bankai: Zanka no Tachi!"

"All Waves, Rise now and Become my Shield, Lightning, Strike now and Become my Blade, Sogyo no Kotowari!"

Radahns swords tear out of the earth and into his outstretched hands, sending countless purple orbs to attack us. The first clash is seismic as Yamamoto charges, a comet of fire against the immovable object that is Radahn. The General counters with the gravity of his presence, the very earth groaning, attempting to slow the fiery onslaught.

Futile, I muse inwardly, my gaze sliding from the collision of titans to Ukitake, who weaves between the fringes of the battlefield, his swords absorbing the errant purple gravitational orbs released by Radahn, ready to redirect. They don't do much, as they are met with even more orbs by Radahn.

I suppose I shouldn't do nothing. A small test first, it should serve as an adequate distraction. "Hado#33: Sokatsui!" The blue flames of the spell streak towards Radahn, who, despite his bulk, moves with a grace that belies his size, evading with a greater speed. Is he making himself weigh less to move even faster?

Yamamoto strikes, a swift, vertical slash aimed to cleave Radahn in two. The air itself seems to split, a narrow line of scorched earth trailing the sword's path. Radahn counters, his gravity magic distorting the space around him, bending the trajectory of the attack just enough to allow for his survival.

Radahn retaliates with a crushing overhead swing, the weight of his attack magnified by his control over gravity. The ground buckles, but Yamamoto is not there—he hid within the flame, it seems Yama takes speed over Radahn. He reappears behind Radahn, the heat of his Bankai searing the air, a presence so intense that I'm sure even the Starscourge feels the singe of his flesh. I can feel it from here. Hm, no matter, I will surpass all of them. A demigod is nothing to the true god I will become.

Jushiro hasn't been doing nothing, the countless purple gravity orbs have been mostly absorbed and reflected by him. It seems to be all he can do at the moment. No attacks have been made towards me yet, I suppose even a demigod can't be too distracted when confronted with the head captain.

"Zanka no Tachi, Nishi: Zanjitsu Gokui!" Yamamoto's voice is a death knell, the western edge of his Bankai releasing a wave of heat so profound that it seems to distort reality. Radahn, enveloped in this invisible inferno, is scorched, his armor glowing red, but he does not fall.

Radahn roars, a primal sound that rattles the earth. He leaps high, like a comet defying the earth's embrace, and from this vantage, he unleashes a barrage of gravity-infused projectiles, resembling stars. They twist to pursue Yamamoto, following him closely.

Yamamoto, undeterred, raises his blade, and with a swing, a fierce gale is born, disperFive Iron Pillars, descend from the heavens and bind the beast: Gochūtekkan!"sing the projectiles in a maelstrom of fire and wind. The air is superheated, shimmering and distorting. Radahn lands, and the impact sends a tremor through the battlefield. He is relentless, a series of blows raining down, each parried by Yamamoto with the east edge of his Bankai, Zanka no Tachi, Kita: Kyokko, which cloaks him in heat so intense it seems like he is fire itself.

One manages to graze Yamamoto, the sheer force behind it tearing through the edge of his haori. A thin line of blood traces its path across his torso, the wound cauterized by the heat of his own power. The blow hits the earth and tears a chasm that stretches past the dunes edge. Yama is getting pushed back, I should try some Bakudo to see how effective they are.

"Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six! Bakudo #61, Rikujokoro! Wide torrents of chains, to bind and to break: Sajo Sabaku! Five Iron Pillars, descend from the heavens and bind the beast: Gochūtekkan!"

Six rods of light emerge from the ether, aiming to pin Radahn's limbs and immobilize him. They strike true, a brief cage of luminance against the dusk of his armor. Right after, heavy golden chains materialize from the air, wrapping around Radahn in an attempt to constrict him further, and finally, Iron pillars, etched with runes, plummet from above, driven by a will to entrap. They aim to pin Radahn to the earth itself, a temporary cage crafted by spiritual force. Radahn, caught by surprise, finds himself momentarily trapped under the weight of the pillars. His eyes, aflame with a warrior's spirit, meet mine, and for an instant, he looks at me with.... slight acknowledgment?

With a roar that shakes the very air, Radahn flexes, his strength amplified by his dominion over gravity, and the pillars buckle and burst asunder, the chains burst into nothing, and the cage explodes outward. But Yamamoto isn't head captain for nothing.

With Radahn briefly held by my Kido, Yamamoto seizes the critical opportunity. The air around him crackles with the raw intensity of his power. The ground beneath his feet glows, scorched by the sheer heat radiating from his body. Yamamoto's voice booms, like a declaration of finality, "Zanka no Tachi, South: Kaka Jumanokushi Daisojin!"

Unleashing the full brunt of his Bankai's southern edge, he commands the dead. A thousand warriors, once cut down by his blade, now rise in a phantasmal inferno. The air is thick with the heat of a sun, and the specters of flame march forward, a silent army obeying the will of their fiery general.

The spectral flames converge on Radahn, engulfing him in a sea of infernal skeletons that seeks to incinerate all they touch. For a moment, even the mighty Starscourge seems dwarfed by the magnitude of the attack. The phantoms, each a remnant of Yamamoto's past victories, are relentless, and the heat is so intense that it distorts the very space around them.

Moments later, Radahn emerges from the inferno, armor glowing white-hot, skin charred but his spirit unyielded. With a laugh that reverberates like thunder, he breaks free from the ghostly siege. He laughs even now; I suppose Kale wasn't lying about Radahns nature.

They engage again, and a massive flurry of blows descend on Yamamoto. It's starting to get hard for me to keep up. But this stalemate can only last so long. A direct hit from Radahn's gravity-wielding great sword sends a shockwave that even Yamamoto cannot ignore. The captain-Commander parries with the east edge of Zanka no Tachi, but the force behind Radahn's swing is monstrous, breaking through the cloak of fire and heat.

Yamamoto is driven back, his form a blur against the onslaught. Another swing of Radahn's sword, and the ground beneath the captain-Commander shatters, testament to the General's overwhelming might. Yamamoto's defenses begin to falter; even his strength has its bounds. The force of the blow makes Yamamoto spit a little blood, and his legs shake as the ground shatters around him. Its time.

Just as Radahn glances at me, "Shatter, Kyoka Suigetsu." I can feel it activate. Hmph, even a demigod is but a slave to my sword. The world bends to my will as Kyoka Suigetsu's complete hypnosis takes hold. The battlefield, the flames, the very sky seems to vanish as my illusion seamlessly envelops Radahn, who finds himself suddenly, inexplicably, standing in a void. The battlefield is gone. Yamamoto is gone. All that remains is silence and the echo of his own breath.

Yamamoto, momentarily unseen by Radahn, finds precious seconds to regather his strength. The captain-Commander's chest heaves, each breath drawing the searing air of his own making. His eyes reflect a flame that will not be quenched by mere force. He looks in my direction and gives a grateful nod. The fool has no idea.

For a moment, Radahn hesitates, his instincts screaming against the calm that has enveloped him. He swings his sword, but it meets no resistance, cleaves no enemy. Doubt, an unfamiliar foe, gnaws at him. In reality, Radahn takes a wild swing at Yamamoto, but its easily dodged. How? Was it luck? No, it seems I can't fully dull his instincts. What a monster. Jushiro gets a small respite and collapses, it seems his sickness has only let him help for this long.

A subtle shift occurs in Radahn's stance, his eyes narrowing. Another nonphysical attack? Radahn's hands rise, and as they do, the fabric of the reality around him warps, the sheer amount of energy he is wielding, is he going to destroy the planet!? He's just going to attack everything, but what about the land? He's supposed to be Honorable!

A celestial map unfolds in the sky above, constellations shining bright even in the daylight. Each star pulses with power, a network of the arcane energy that Radahn uses. The sky darkens as if night has fallen, and the stars blaze forth with a light that is not merely seen but felt. From the constellations, a barrage of meteors materializes, each a comet of flame drawn from the speed at which they fall. They rain down upon the battlefield with a speed and ferocity that is unavoidable, a cataclysmic shower that seeks to obliterate all beneath. I can't get away!

Yamamoto, even in the might of his Bankai, finds the sky above him alive with fire. His own flames rise to meet the challenge, a sun against the stars, but the onslaught is relentless. Kyoka Suigetsu's power is absolute, but even illusions have their limits against such widespread devastation. I need a method to deal with things like this.

The meteors crash into the earth, their impact a symphony of destruction. But Radahn is not done yet. He channels more of his arcane might, the gravity around him intensifying, and with a thunderous command, I feel as if tens of mountains fall on my back, seeking to crush me under the weight of a force that is irresistible. Kale! But he doesn't come, and the countless metors covering the sky destroy me and everything else.

How can I die like this? How could I be wrong? Damnit, my ambition....

30 Power Stones so another chap. Yall are crazy. (every 15 power stones is another extra chap.)

Hey, so I'm not good at combat lol, but I tried! At this point, Aizen can't do shit to a lore accurate prime Radahn outside of Kyoka Suigetsu. Jushiro (Without using his Trump Card), is basically fodder. Yama is at best low solar and a prime Radahn is beyond that. Chadahn slays another set of lowly challengers! Let me know what you think.
