To the people wanting both, sadly it isn't just possible.
Esper Abilities in Aru are specific, like Vector Control, Electro Magnetism, etc. The only way out of this is if you are a gemstone, which MC is not (Sogiita is just fk this shit ill use this then that then this, and that again).
So to be loyal to the story premise, I can only choose one.
Before someone says I should upgrade the concept, this is a fanfic, etc. I would, just not now.
At the moment when you obtain shit, it is bound to the original story premise, that's why there's (upgradable) on the skills/abilities.
Also, I saw good suggestions, like the Fundamental Force and Void in the last chapter so I am saying the reason for MCs choice.
You guys know he's not that smart right? He just thinks he is (well I'll write him to be a bit clever but not smart like a big brain just acceptable enough). Those suggestions never came into his mind.
The first shit that came into his mind is Space and Time and since he is also a Gojo fan you know the answer.

Skills rarities go like this. How dare you junior!
Common = Juniors
Uncommon = Geniuses/Elders/Great Elders
Rare = Ancestors and the Real Powerhouses of the world.
Epic = God Level (I know this is broad but yeah as long as you have a skill like this you succeeded junior.)
Legend = Only the strongest of the strongest in their verse could possibly have skills like this.
Mythical = Very rare of the strongest of strongest. With skills like this unless the enemy has their own Mythical (item, skill, ability) only the Supreme God can be safe.
So yeah, a normal god has some sort of law/power they specialized in, so picking 1 from space and time is the way. Unless it evolves to legend then Space and Time shit isn't just making it.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The rarity is just POTENTIAL (Imagine JJK Potential Man that likes spamming "With this Treasure"). If you suck at using shit even if you have a Legend skill you're weak af (I'd rate the ability to summon Mahoraga at Legend.)

Nothingness.
If I were to describe my current state of mind, it would be nothingness.
In that tranquil moment, the Great Sage seized the opportunity to elevate my senses to their utmost limit.
Through its guidance, I became acutely aware of the subtle energies permeating the surroundings, for the very first time, I felt the so-called General AIM ambient on the surroundings.
It was an ethereal sensation, akin to the delicate dance of dust particles suspended in the air.
The ambient AIM enveloping the surroundings felt like a gentle caress against my consciousness.
Each particle seemed to drift effortlessly, carried by unseen currents, yet intricately connected in a web of cosmic energy.
At that moment, my understanding of AIM expanded as a realization came to my mind.
AIM, the raw material from which Esper's abilities were forged was like dust particles drifting through the wind, they hovered, waiting to be shaped and molded by the will of the Esper.
With a thought, an Esper could weave these particles together with their Personal AIM, forming lines of connection that stretched across the fabric of reality.
Through these lines, the power of Personal Reality flowed, manifesting as the abilities unique to each Esper.
It was a delicate balance, like threading a needle with fine silk.
But in the hands of a skilled Esper, the possibilities were limitless, as vast as the universe itself.
As I continued utilizing my senses in order to observe more about the swirling currents of AIM, a profound realization dawned upon me.
Each particle of AIM, though seemingly minuscule, held within it the essence of space itself.
I began to perceive not just the particles, but the distances between them, stretching infinitely towards each other.
In these infinitely stretching spaces between particles, I glimpsed the boundless expanse of the universe with its infinite depths unfolding before my eyes.
It was as if each gap held a universe of its own, waiting to be explored and understood.
With newfound clarity, I realized that space was not just a void to be traversed, but a canvas upon which the tapestry of reality unfolded.
With such complex thoughts in my mind, I felt my consciousness slipping away, and soon after, I blacked out.
(Third Person POV)
Deep within the labyrinthine heart of Academy City, a peculiar sight unfolds within the confines of a cryptic metallic structure.
At its core lies a chamber, its cubic form exuding an aura of enigma, with a seamless surface devoid of any discernible entry point.
Suspended within this clandestine enclosure is a solitary figure, their silhouette obscured by the dim glow of esoteric machinery.
Hanging upside down within the chamber, the figure is bound by an intricate network of wires, their form partially obscured by the murky depths of a tube filled with viscous crimson liquid.
Despite the disorienting orientation, there is an unmistakable air of authority that surrounds them, hinting at a power and influence beyond conventional understanding.
This figure, once celebrated as the Greatest Magician in history an enigmatic individual is now known only as Aleister Crowley.
Aleister now looking at a bunch of blue floating holographic panels changed his focus to a room inside a dormitory building in the seventh district of the academic city.
"Show all available information on this particular individual." He said as holographic panels appeared one by one.
"Dante Yamamoto, aged 14, arrived in Academy City at the tender age of 5. Despite nine years of enrollment in the Power Curriculum Program, he has yet to manifest his Reality. His consistent average scores in all parameter values raise suspicions. The latest level information indicates he remains at Level 0." Aleister said as he gazed at a panel showing the rapid rise of AIM the unconscious teen was emitting inside the room.
(Authors Note: Now before some readers question stuff like how on earth did a 21-year-old pass off as 14 and isn't he 21? It's all the chat's doing for members doing missions in another world. Think reader, think. Also for people who don't know, there is no such thing as privacy in the Academic City. Because of Under_Line (airborne minuscule machines) spread to absolutely every possible corner of the Academic City in massive numbers, Aleister could be considered Omniscient in there.)
"Current AIM emissions are already 10x higher than a level 1 and continuing to rise." With a gaze filled with curiosity, Aleister continued monitoring the youth.
"AIM emissions reaching the boundary of level 4 and still continuing its rise." With a deadpan expression, Aleister kept monitoring the graphs.
After an unknown amount of time, the rise stopped, "Final AIM emission values 10x the baseline of a level 5."
(Authors Note: I've done a lot of research but there is no such thing as an exact value of AIM emissions on To Aru. So stuff like this would be up to me.)
As Aleister gazed at the bird's eye view using Under_Line, it could be seen that the youth's AIM emission is densely packed in a circular radius of 1km.
"Interesting." Said Aleister as a rare trace of expression could be found in his eyes.

'I forgot Great Sage could do that. I should leave this feature on so I know when I obtain new stuff.' After that thought, I commanded my skill to always notify me when I obtain new things.
After sitting on the edge of the bed and cracking the stiff parts of my body, I opened my phone to view the newly acquired skill description.
(Epic Ability) Personal Reality (Spatial Manipulation – To Aru) (Maxed) (Upgradable)
-With sufficient AIM Energy and Intellectual Acuity for complex calculations, this Ability enables the user to reshape and control spatial dimensions at will through unrestrained manipulation of space.
Like before, the newly added Ability is sending a mind imprint on how to use it and what calculation's I am supposed to solve in order to utilize my ability.
'Eh? Maxed? Does that mean I am level 6? Or maybe 7? Eh, probably not.' With a thought, I tried reaching my hand for the book on the self a few meters away from me.
After countless trials and errors, guess what? Nothing happened. I simply sat there like dumbly with my arms out reaching for the book.
'I can feel the AIM Energy but I failed on the calculations, damn. How could a High school dropout like me ever compare to super geniuses like the other level fives? I remember their brains are like supercomputers. Welp, at least I tried. Now time to cheat.' After giving up on activating my powers the regular way, I willed great sage to handle everything that requires complex thinking.
With another attempt, I stretched out my hand as I willed the space between my hand and the book to disappear.
The space between two points, (Hand and Book) disappeared as I found the book now being held in my hand.
'Nice, Great Sage is really the best. Nothing can compare to the best grill. With this, I should be safe teleporting and will avoid getting stuck into a wall like the guide Move Point. If she hadn't got into that accident she should be level 5 by now.' With my thoughts distracted, I stood up and tried to activate my ability once again.
With a gaze towards the closed door, I used the AIM dispersed on the surroundings to feel the other side of the door. Then using the Great Sage for computation, I teleported myself outside of the door.
Nausea could be felt for a second after the short teleportation attempt but with a smile, I willed my power to bring me back inside the room.
'I don't know how Great Sage did it nor do I want to know for real as it is definitely just difficult math's but that was awesome. But I'm definitely already exposed.' I thought to myself as after awakening my AIM I could feel it collide with the microscopic machinery spread everywhere.
'Under_Line, huh? Well, this works too. I need to show a bit more power but I'll pretend to not know the Academy's secrets. If I pique Aleister's interest enough, he should create a scenario where I would get tested for my powers. If I can reach level 5 on that test, it should count for me making an impact on the plot, right? A new level 5 should finish my quest?' With such thoughts, I experimented with my powers for the rest of the day.

I am to explain it here because some will definitely complain shit about MC being straight-up strong.
First things first, Universal Energy Conduit. His physique is GOD Potential making him emit a lot of Personal AIM.
Second, Great Sage, a skill that can supplement his processing power to be on par with level 5's.
Third, the Mind imprint of the Identity Panel. Espers usually need to learn stuff little by little. But because of the Imprint to knowing your skills, as long as MC has enough processing power, and AIM he should be able to do level 5 stuff.
Now, about the level
Level 0: No power or has personal reality but can't do shit.
Level 1: Can do something with their powers but doesn't really amounts to anything.
Level 2: Can use your ability in daily life, in MCs case probably swaps small stuff like remotes and a phone from the table to his hand.
Level 3: In MCs case would probably be teleporting by changing locations with anything for smoother use like Kuroko swapping places with nails. That's what level 3 MC should be like.
Level 4: Free use of his power. Note even a level 4 can sometimes match a level 5.
Level 5: This level is not all about power but the versatility of your power. The main thing with level 5 is whether they have any use for the Academic City, specifically for Aleister. If you are useless even if you have firepower worthy of level 5 but you only know how to fight, you will be stuck at level 4.
Accelerator, Kakine, Mugino = Useful for the dark side of the city.
Misaka, Shokuhou, number 6 = Useful experimental guinea pigs.
