Afterthoughts

The next day, Kidou woke up with his head hurting and he muttered, "Damn it! Even though I drank a bottle, why am I suffering from a hangover?"

Holding his head, Kidou used chakra to soothe his nerves and moments later, he felt the pain in his head lessening and memories of what happened came to his mind.

His expression changed and a look of horror appeared on his face as he remembered what he did and he said, "Did she drink me to extract information from me?"

He got up from his seat to look for Tsunade and ask her but he stopped outside the door, instead of looking for her, he left the Senju Clan and decided not to meet her.

But when he reached the gate, he heard Tsunade calling him and he turned back.

"Wait!" Tsunade shouted as she looked at Kidou leaving the room and appearing beside him, she asked, "Where are you going?"

"To my house,"

"What about the project you talked about?" Tsunade asked and Kidou looked at her and checked any deceit in her expression.

But he didn't find anything, and before he could speak more, Tsunade said, "Here are the Medical Techniques you asked me about."

"Hmm?" Kidou said as he looked at the scroll that Tsunade gave him and a frown appeared on his face.

He looked at her and asked, "Yesterday.."

"Yesterday?" Tsunade asked with a confused expression on her face and Kidou shook his head and said, "It's nothing, thanks for this, I will meet you, and give them back when I am done with them."

Saying this, Kidou walked away and seeing this, Tsunade inwardly sighed in relief at the fact that she hadn't been caught by him.

"I need to keep up my act or..." Tsunade muttered and then shook her head, she was about to leave, but she remembered something.

"Oye! Kidou, about what happened at the Tavern, you don't need to worry about it, Orochimaru solved it."

Kidou stopped as he heard her shout and he left with a thanks. Looking at his back, Tsunade frowned and she had a feeling that something was going to happen and she decided to meet Orochimaru to talk about this feeling.

Appearing in his home, Kidou put the scroll at the side and sat while holding his head. Now he didn't know if he was dreaming or the thing had really happened.

"If it had happened, Tsunade would talk about this but her reaction wasn't what I thought. Or she is just faking everything to let my guard down? Fuck! How could I have made such a mistake?"

Kidou thought of everything and he understood the reason why he made a mistake like this.

"I am thinking of them as what I saw in past! Fuck! I need to think about everything as unknown and not depend on what I know from the past."

Lying down on the bed, Kidou thought of what he could do and an idea appeared in his mind.

'I will create a Mind Palace in my mind so that I won't know anything until I read a specific book about it. This way, I will remember the knowledge when I need it and won't speak anything even when I am drunk.'

'Chakra is bullshit, right? Then I will do all bullshit ideas I have with my Creator and Solver Talent.'

Kidou sat cross-legged and he closed his eyes.

'A Mind Palace, before that, I need to see if I have a Mindscape and if I don't have one, I will create one in my Mind.'

'Mindscape is the personification of mind, and its initial shape will reflect the state of mind I have. Hmm, Let's try a simple Mindscape. Blue Sky and Green Grass.'

'Blue Sky and Green Grass.'

Kidou started to imagine the scenario and he directed his chakra to his brain and it disappeared. Soon, he found himself in a blank space and he whispered, "Blue sky and Green Grass."

The Blank space changed to blue sky and green grass and looking at this, Kidou nodded and muttered, "A library which will contain all of my memories."

While Kidou worked on his Mind Palace, Tsunade went to meet with Orochimaru.

"Do you think you can do this without getting caught?" Tsunade asked Orochimaru and he looked at her and asked, "Why do you want me to check the records of remaining Senju clan members going on missions?"

"Please, Check them! I will talk later about why I want this." Tsunade said and Orochimaru had a serious expression as he heard this.

"Did something happen?"

"Something will happen if I don't know about this," Tsunade said and Orochimaru nodded at her and said, "I will try."

"Hehe! I knew I could count on you for this matter. Also, make sure that this will stay between us." Tsunade said and Orochimaru looked at her for a moment and then nodded.

"Hmm, how is Nawaki doing?" She asked Orochimaru, who had started to teach Nawaki and a smile appeared on Orochimaru's face as he heard this.

"He is doing good,"

"Then, increase the intensity of training," Tsunade said making Orochimaru stunned and he asked, "Tsunade, is there a problem?"

"I don't know but I have a bad feeling that something will happen in future," Tsunade said with a troubled look on her face and knowing her 'luck', Orochimaru nodded and said, "I will."

 She sighed in relief as she heard this and then Orochimaru asked, "What about Kidou?"

"Hmm? What about him?"

"Aren't you going to research with him?"

"Yeah, I have given him the scroll containing Medical Techniques and he said he will contact me when he is done analyzing them," Tsunade said with a distant look on her face and Orochimaru understood that everything happened because of him.

'Kidou Kun, just what did you tell to her when you were drunk? No, It should be Tsunade who drank him and asked him.'

He understood why Tsunade took him away and what she did to him. Shaking his head, he decided to not think about this matter and do what he planned to do.

"Here, the book you gave me before. Also, when you meet him, tell him that I also would like to discuss techniques with him."

"I will," Tsunade said as she took the book and left the place while Orochimaru started to work on his techniques and think about what he should teach to Nawaki.
