Arc 1-Chapter 21-Demigod

-time for target practice Yakko !

_Vio threw out a rock which then got deleted by a lava blast shot out Yakko's mouth , and another, and another , and another, until eventually he threw one a bit too strong and made it bounce off a wall , making the rock orbit just above his hair, which got deleted as well this time_

-we both knew this was going to happen didn't we?

_they looked at each other silently for another 5 seconds and started practicing again for about an hour . Then_

_before they knew it all the time they had to become stronger had passed and the time had come to face Salamander, the fire demigod . They were both shaking, in both excitement and terror , for that was THE battle , one in which a loss would result in them losing their life ._

_Oblivion clenched his fists and pressed on towards Salamander's lair_

_without even finishing to spit out that phrase Vio rushed towards Salamander as fast as he could , with his spring legs allowing him to do faster and more precise movements . As soon as it realized Oblivion was moving salamander swung its tail as to sweep the ground and hit everything on it , but Vio instantaneously corrected his movement to dodge the tail with a frontflip, landing on its tip and using it to bounce off towards the base, which was really far away considering Salamander is as big as two decent sized houses one next to the other.

As he was running towards the base to try and cut it of he realized there was something weird with the tail , then he understood it was going to use a fire spell through it , but he kept running while casting something with his hands _

-open portal : #7 !

_a space portal opened out of thin air and a lot , unfathomably high amount pf water started pouring out , but as it was pouring out at the same time it evaporated due to the spell salamander's tail had casted. Fortunately the quantity of the water coming from that specific portal was enough to contrast the whole spell , letting Oblivion advance further, and reach the base of the tail which he managed to stab with his claws and pierce a bit, which resulted in salamander… completely ignoring it as if he felt absolutely no pain, even if the tail was contorting itself from whatever pain that could've been. And then it just stopped, which surprised the two trying to rip it off , especially because the cut off parts already regenerated , resulting in our brave fighter losing his weapons in the flesh of the lizard _

-think about that being a possibility (o-o)

_after saying that he got hit by the tail and sent flying into a rock wall, leaving him breathless for approximately 5 seconds , which the tail used as an opportunity to cast another spell which , this time , hit , leaving our survivor burnt to a crisp… or so salamander thought, for Oblivion got out of that with only a bit of his hair burned of and some burns here and there_

-the rock buffet really paid off huh? Well let me show you another trick

_ he then proceeded to touch the ground and it started completely freezing.Yes,that boiling hot demigod's lair was now basically just a ice skater's dream_

_what had been casted on the ground wasn't just any ice, but a special kind obtainable only due to certain circumstances and only if you know the process. What that was is the most hard to work with, most good looking material and the most heat resistant , with the most uses in buildings , chemistry works and even alchemy…GLASS.Oblivion transformed that whole cave in a glass covered mess.

-and now… TIME FOR A LIGHTSHOW ! PORTALS 1 through 6 : OPEN !

_ 6 portals opened releasing light based spells(not cast by neither vio or yakko) that just started bouncing off walls acquiring more and more speed every single time they bounced , that , was a sight to see : the demigod constricted to stay still not to get hit by the spells , yakko together with Oblivion majestically dancing through the lights and slowly getting closer , hitting the tail base, covering it with glass so it couldn't regenerate and going back. this worked for about 6 times, and just as the finally awaited killing blow was about to be delivered…_

-that's enough games and dances , this should be a battle to the death, and you are taking it as a mere dancing contest

-… that's enough predator. Time to show you why i am a demigod

_the room melted… completely , revealing a blue ceiling Oblivion had never seen , and also a floor made out of crazy hot Lava . His tail was completely regenerated again. His eyes now full with rage_
