While Alex was enjoying the company of Hollywood actresses and Mystique at his seaside villa, a few figures suddenly appeared at the battlefield, which had previously been nothing but a vast expanse of sand.
At the front of these figures stood a man with a stern face, wearing a mysterious helmet and manipulating the metal floating around him.
This man was none other than Magneto, one of the most powerful mutants alive and the long-wanted leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants.
Magneto surveyed the scene before him—a site that looked like it had been hit by multiple nuclear explosions—with a complex expression.
He had originally come here to prevent Professor X and his team from killing "White Hair," but upon arrival, he found the battle already over.
From the remaining blood and flesh on the scene, it was evident that the X-Men had suffered a crushing defeat!
This wasn't just a battle; it was a massacre, a slaughter of the X-Men and the Sentinels by White Hair.
From the traces on the scene, it appeared the Sentinels and most of the X-Men hadn't even had the chance to fight back. Perhaps only Jean Grey, wielding the Phoenix Force, could have fought against White Hair, but she too had been swiftly defeated.
White Hair was far more powerful than he had imagined, stronger even than the fully realized Phoenix Force.
There was no doubt that most of the X-Men were now dead, including his old friend, the leader of the X-Men, Professor X.
That was the source of his complicated feelings.
He and Charles had shared decades of history—from stopping the Hellfire Club's nuclear war to their later falling out, their relationship had been one of both love and hatred. They had parted ways and come together many times, but neither had ever thought of killing the other.
To each other, they were like family!
And now, Charles was dead, killed while trying to eliminate a fellow mutant.
If he had died for another reason, Magneto would have avenged him.
But Charles had died while attacking a fellow mutant, leaving Magneto in a quandary.
Even so, if Charles had been killed by someone else—another mutant even—Magneto might have killed that person, as he had done to Sebastian Shaw after Shaw killed his mother.
But why did it have to be White Hair?
It was clear now that White Hair's power far exceeded that of any other mutant; he was on an entirely different level!
If Magneto sought revenge against White Hair for Charles, the Brotherhood of Mutants could very well end up like the X-Men had.
"Sorry, Charles, but I can't risk the entire Brotherhood to avenge you…"
He had to consider the safety of his companions in the Brotherhood...

Meanwhile, Alex enjoyed a relatively peaceful period at his seaside villa, during which his power grew steadily.
During this time, his body fully recovered, and he absorbed even more of the Infinity Stones' energy. This massive influx of power significantly advanced the template of the character Accelerator, currently reaching:
Template Fusion Rate: 8%!
Based on his memories of Accelerator's abilities, Alex believed that once the template fusion reached 10%, a new skill would be unlocked!
One day, as Alex was exercising by the outdoor pool at his seaside villa, enjoying the sea breeze and honing his skills, he heard a series of notifications from the system:
Energy Points +1
Six Eyes Experience +1
Portal Experience +1
Energy Absorption Experience +1
...
A few moments later, a different notification sounded:
Portal Experience +1
Congratulations, your skill "Portal" has leveled up!
Portal lv3 (1/1000): Consume magic power to open a portal to any area within the current dimension/universe. Magic power can be substituted with energy!
Low-level skills accumulate experience much faster than high-level ones, and they require less experience to level up. So, even though Alex had been focusing on core skills like Energy Absorption, the lv2 Portal skill was the first to advance!
After the Portal skill reached lv3, a flood of information entered Alex's mind, which he instantly absorbed.
The knowledge of the lv3 Portal skill was no burden to him now.
After fully digesting the information, Alex understood all the capabilities of the lv3 Portal skill.
Now, he no longer needed hand gestures; he could open portals with mere thought. He could open multiple portals simultaneously, and their maximum size had greatly increased!
More importantly, he could travel anywhere within the current universe or dimension without restriction!
This made him increasingly interested in the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Judging by the current timeline, Star-Lord should soon acquire the Power Stone. Once Jane Foster's delivery arrived with her stone and Alex obtained the Power Stone, he would have four Infinity Stones.
Only the Time Stone and the Soul Stone would remain to complete the collection, enabling him to snap his fingers.
As he pondered how to get the Time Stone from the Sorcerer Supreme and the Soul Stone, which required sacrificing a loved one, his Six Eyes suddenly detected something.
Alex smiled, sipping his expensive red wine, calmly waiting. Moments later, a few figures approached his seaside villa and rang the doorbell.
It seemed that Hydra had learned from their last encounter and was now being much more polite.
Alex commanded the AI Friday, a gift from Tony Stark, to open the villa's gate. A group of well-dressed agents entered the house and made their way to the edge of the outdoor pool.
At the forefront was Agent Sitwell, a Hydra operative Alex had once met at the site of Thor's hammer. He was representing Hydra this time.
Upon reaching Alex, Sitwell respectfully addressed him:
"Mr. Alex, this is the Obelisk you requested. On behalf of Hydra, I present it to you, hoping that you will refrain from interfering in our plans going forward. Of course, after our plan succeeds, we will have an extra gift for you."
With the increasing strength of White Hair, Hydra no longer dared to demand his assistance or even ask for the Space Stone. At this point, all they hoped for was that White Hair would not interfere in their upcoming plans. That alone would satisfy them.
However, they still hoped the Obelisk might kill White Hair; if that happened, the greatest obstacle to Hydra's world domination would be removed.
But they had little hope of this; they didn't believe that a mere Obelisk could defeat such a powerful opponent.
Alex held the Obelisk in his hand and examined it. As soon as he touched it, a strange energy tried to invade his body, but it was instantly absorbed by his lv4 Energy Absorption.
While the Obelisk was useless to him, it was still worth studying—it could at least provide some amusement.
After a moment of thought, Alex finally shifted his gaze to Sitwell, who was doing his best to remain calm, though his body language betrayed his fear.
Alex smirked, "Relax, you knocked this time, so I won't kill you."
Just as Sitwell let out a sigh of relief, several agents beside him suddenly exploded into a fine mist of blood, their remains splattering across his face and staining his vision red!
Then he heard the low voice of the devil in front of him:
"Too bad—they didn't knock."
